The Base Metal and Acid Dance

Because I recycle electronics, I have an acid test kit. Sometimes, just for fun, I drop a small piece of metal into some acid on the glass testing plate and watch the movement as the acid catalyzes the base metals. The green colour on the tissue at the end tells me there was nickel in the metal bit.
