I have tested many lamps with similar specifications, this one has a rather more upmarket and high end feel to it than most. This may be due to the use of Aluminium for body construction and the attractive and minimalist design.

The high-end feel is not reflected in the packaging which is perfectly adequate but less than premium. In the box is the lamp itself, together with a USB power cable and a well written and easy to read User Guide.

The lamp folds almost flat for storage and in use can be fully positioned with a 90°adjustable arm and 180° foldable head. The 450 lumens full spectrum lamp has can be set to five levels of white light, from cool to warm, with ten-step dimming from the 42 bead LED array.

It has a non-slip finish to the underside with a well-spaced array of soft-touch buttons on the top of the stand to control Power, Dimming, 45 minute Timer, and Reading Light mode. On the rear of the base is the USB-C power in port and a standard USB 2 output to charge or power external devices at 5w/1A and an On/Off turret switch. There is a small lug above the controls to support a phone when charging, a nice touch.

The lamp is simple and intuitive to use with a warm white evenly spread output. The main selling points are the one-touch access to the timer and Reading Light modes together with the attractive design and low price.

This is a well made and attractive lamp with a classy feel missing from many lesser rivals that makes the £22.49 price a very decent buy.
