Dakar quad Rally Raid winner Sergey Karyakin’s road to success

Sergey Karyakin has dedicated his life to ATV racing and motorsport in general. He is the first and only Russian winner of the Dakar Rally Raid on a quad bike. Rally racing is an extreme and complex sport. Off-road makes special demands of a racer's driving skills and physical condition, as well as the vehicle's technical characteristics. In other words, it's hard teamwork. For this reason, the young Russian team’s win in 2017 was of particular value. They had shown that they could compete on equal footing with established and experienced competitors in the Dakar Rally or any another off-road race, for that matter. These days, Sergey has set a target of repeating that success… on a buggy. We wish him and his team all the best!
