Trump answers woman's question about the virus and the vaccines
What would you do differently when the next virus comes along? A woman at an event that Trump spoke at in Iowa on 06/01/2023 asked this question of him. Here is his response to that question.

Why I am convinced that Herbster was falsely accused by Senator Slama
In part of this audio, you'll hear Senator Slama scold me for using "the F word." If Senator Slama were as interested in policing our elections as she is in policing my use of "the F word," our elections would be secured in no time!
I will never permit someone to label me as something which I am not. Senator Slama is very much suggesting, and in some instances directly stating--things about me which are NOT true. In the audio of the meeting that I had with her yesterday, I reminded her that she has accused me in the past of "trying to overthrow the government." What she has said about me is unreal. And FALSE. She said that what I was describing to her--when I was asking her to uphold and protect our Constitutional rights--"qualifies as" an attempt to overthrow the government! This is not a statement from my senator that I take lightly, particularly given the many injustices that are taking place against patriots in our country right now at the hands of our own government.
I would note that Senator Slama can be heard in the audio of the meeting asking me why I did not speak up (about my concerns about the changes to how "voting system" is defined) when I gave public comment on LB 843 at the capitol earlier in the year. The reason that I am pointing to this now is because this is yet another example of gamesmanship that our politicians play. Slama appears to be mistaken on her dates in several of the instances to which she points in order to suggest that the timeline of things mattered in absolving her of her responsibility to represent the concerns of her constituents. She asked me why I did not speak up sooner, and the answer is that I did not because I had no knowledge yet of Flood's proposed amendment until after the legislative session was over. I don't even think that Senator Flood's amendment had been proposed yet at the time of the hearings where Slama suggests I should have spoken up about my concerns.
The better questions to ask, I think, is why it is that Senator Slama has taken no action against me if she--as she claims--believes that I pose a threat to our government. Is she not be derelict in her duties to ignore such a thing, if she TRULY believes it to be so? What she has claimed about me trying to "overthrow the government" is no small thing, and words such as that from our government should never be directed toward us unless they are true. What Senator Slama accuses me of is NOT true, and I think that if she truly believed that it was, she would have a duty to follow through and report me. Again, I do not fear such allegations because I know that they are false. Senator Slama knows it too. This is an example of how some in our government will use the power of the positions that they hold in order to intimidate others. I will not be cowed into silence.
Also, I don't mention it in my video commentary, but in the audio of the meeting (during a portion which is difficult to hear), she actually makes a reference to an incident which never took place as she describes. She claims that, at the Nemaha County GOP Convention, I was two inches from her face and she alludes to my use of "the F word" as if I were cursing directly at her (as in, F-you, or something). Anyone who has followed the videos that I have posted in the past knows very well that I shared (long ago) all about the incident that took place on the day that she is referencing. It was not an insignificant event to me, because it was the moment when my own senator claimed that I was trying to "overthrow the government!"
Was I "two inches" from her face. No. Absolutely not. Just as Senator Slama claimed that Charles Herbster touched her at a crowded event, she is now claiming untrue things to suggest that I engaged with her inappropriately during a conversation that she and I had which took place in a room full of people at my county GOP convention.
The audio of that event was recorded in its entirety and I have shared it in the past--with no shame or hesitation whatsoever. The truth is that I *WANT* people to know that Senator Slama believes that patriots are dangerous. I *WANT* people to see that her concerns are to protect her peers in the government instead of to provide representation to her constituents and to protect our rights. What actually happened is that AFTER Senator Slama had just claimed that I was trying to "overthrow the government," I told her that I was only trying to appeal to her as my senator for representation and that she was essentially telling me to "fuck off." I can assure you that I was far more offended by her having just accused me of trying to overthrow the government than she was by my use of "the F word."
I will post the link below that includes the audio of that exchange and people may decide for themselves which of the two of us, Senator Slama or I, poses the greatest threat to our government.
Those are but a few of the reasons that I now believe that her allegations against Charles Herbster were made up. (I cover more of the reasons in the video.) I was always skeptical of her claims given the timing of when they came out, but up until recently, I had been willing to presume that there might have been an inkling of truth to what she had said. Maybe Herbster had flirted with her or something, I thought. But I never believed that he touched her in such a way that traumatized her as she claimed. Never. And Governor Ricketts' call for Herbster to "seek treatment," combined with calls from all of the women in the Unicameral for Herbster to drop out of the race (because they all had publicly declared him guilty) certainly seemed to point to all of this being nothing more than a political witch hunt (with a heaping dose of an abuse of governmental authority behind it).
I have always been appalled that many of our elected officials abused their governmental authority by claiming Herbster guilty rather than presuming him innocent. What irony there was that Governor Ricketts claimed Herbster unfit to lead when Ricketts himself was abusing the authority of his elected position to charge ahead with public proclamations of guilt against a man who never was given the presumption of innocence as our laws require. (And Pillen's tacit consent to such an abuse of governmental authority is one of the main reasons I will never vote for him to be our governor.) Until recently, I did believe that there was always the possibility that the allegations against Herbster might have held some truth to them. The evidence of what I have seen and personally experienced myself suggests to me that Senator Slama is no longer deserving of any benefit of the doubt. Today, I do believe that Herbster is 100% innocent of the things which Senator Slama has claimed about him. Will we ever know for sure? Perhaps not. But I am speaking today to the things which I *do* know, and that is that Senator Slama is a person who I know for a fact cannot be trusted to give an accurate account of things or honest answers when she is asked.

My "2000 Mules" Commentary
"2000 Mules" shows some serious problems, but fails to offer any solutions. In this video, I explain where I think our focus needs to be if we are ever going to restore election integrity.
I offer even more specific advice for what I think we must do to address our elections in the video link below, as well as in my other Rumble videos and posts on VoicesOfNebraska.com.

"Trusted Voices?" (I don't think so.) -- A warning to heed while there is still time.
https://www.essvote.com/blog/industry-news/a-joint-statement-from-our-nations-election-officials-partners-and-providers/
The people who are represented by groups who signed this letter back in November 2020, telling us that "The November 3rd election was the most secure in American history," have some explaining to do. That would include our Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen (who is a member of the National Association of Secretaries of State) and Nebraska Deputy Secretary of State Wayne Bena (who is a member of the National Association of State Election Directors). Both of those organizations signed the joint statement claiming that the November 2020 election was "the most secure in American history."
We know that the joint statement put out by those groups is not true. There were MANY problems with November 2020 election, and yet our state officials who are tasked to provide oversight of the conduct of our elections continue to claim that our elections in Nebraska are on the level. They won't show us why they hold such confidence in our elections. Instead, they simply say, "trust us."
That is concerning, especially in light of the fact that we KNOW that our Secretary of State and our Deputy Secretary of State in Nebraska CANNOT be trusted to give us factual information when it comes to our elections. You may find proof of that here:
https://www.voicesofnebraska.com/silent-no-more/if-their-lips-are-moving
And did you notice who else is represented in that joint statement assuring us that "There is no evidence that any voting system...was in any way compromised?" Yep, Election Systems and Software (ES&S), the company who manages the voting system in our state is represented on that letter alongside the organizations of which our Secretary of State and our Deputy Secretary of State are members.
I attended a presentation by Larry Ortega of the Voter Accuracy Project last night. Larry said that Secretary of State Evnen always finds ways to discredit and dispel all of the concerns that are brought to him. Why is that? Why would Evnen (a man whose name will be on the ballot!) take the side of defending ES&S? Why does he not put first the concerns of those who elected him to protect their right to a fair election? We are not being represented well (or at all, really) by those whose job it is to defend our rights.
The icing on the cake from that joint statement that these groups issued back in November 2020 is that they wrap up the letter by telling Americans just exactly who the "trusted voices" are when it comes to election integrity. And guess who it is they tell you to trust? THEM! "When you have questions turn to elections officials as trusted voices as they administer elections." They are telling us that the "trusted voices" on the security of our elections are the ones who are responsible for conducting those elections. If you really want to see the propaganda that our government is putting out to tell us who the "trusted voices" on both elections and COVID-19 are, then just take a look at the disinformation "toolkits" put out by the Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency (an agency of the Department of Homeland Security). And then take another look at that joint statement. CISA signed on to it too. They are among those assuring us that they are the "trusted voices" and that our elections have never been more secure.
https://www.cisa.gov/publication/election-disinformation-toolkit
https://www.cisa.gov/publication/covid-19-disinformation-toolkit
https://www.cisa.gov/resilience-series-graphic-novels
https://www.cisa.gov/mdm-resource-library
See the problem?
And the following op-ed written by General Flynn in August 2021 points to exactly why we should have concerns that the Department of Homeland Security handles the oversight of the cybersecurity of our elections. The fox is watching the hen house, and significant efforts are being made to control the narrative of just exactly who the "trusted voices" are.
https://www.westernjournal.com/exclusive-gen-flynn-since-new-dhs-alert-potential-terrorist-oppose-white-house-lies/
I've highlighted some of the things which I think should be most concerning. These are things that the public needs to know. "We the people" are the ones who grant power to the government. We give our consent when we collectively agree on what "the rules" are which we will abide by. But we cannot give informed consent (to elections, to COVID-19 measures, or to anything else) when the narrative is fueled by propaganda from our government.
Below are some more links which I either reference in the above video or which I think might provide some more useful information on this topic.

Did you know this about our elections?
Did you know that on January 6, 2017, the Department of Homeland Security designated elections to be critical infrastructure? This was done shortly after HRC didn't get the win that she thought she had in the bag. And it was done only days before Trump was sworn in. Make of that what you will.
And did you know that it was DHS who issued a "terror alert" warning people to watch for people who might be dangerous. Included in the list of those who should raise suspicion were people who question the elections, and also people who are critical of vaccines.
Guess who is the default to conduct security testing of ES&S services? Yep. It's DHS, the same agency that warns that those of us who question elections might be terrorists.
It gets worse. The State of Nebraska signed a contract with ES&S which contains within it terms that bind the State to silence about the results of any security testing.
You follow? So shortly after Hillary lost and before Trump was sworn in, DHS designated elections to be critical infrastructure. DHS has called for those who question the November 2020 election (and also those who question vaccines) to be deemed potentially dangerous. And it is DHS who is the default to do the security testing of ES&S software.
The access to and influence upon our elections by DHS makes the $400,000 of Zuckerbucks dumped into Lancaster County seem like child's play by comparison.
And we, the people, never get to know what the results of any security testing are due to the terms of the contract between ES&S and the State of Nebraska.
I believe the contract violates Article 1-22 of our Nebraska State Constitution, and governing law states that the State does not have the authority to agree to terms which violate our state constitution.
Call your state senator and ask that AG Peterson be asked to examine the constitutionality of the ES&S contract. We can learn a lot about where we stand by watching how our elected officials respond to our concerns about whether or not our elections are being conducted in accordance with our state constitution.

Why has Trump not called out the dangerous propaganda targeting conservatives?
"You are fake news!" Conservatives, myself included, applaud Trump when he calls out the fact that the mainstream media is full of lies and intentions to mislead. But what about the propaganda narratives targeted to conservatives that have become so deeply rooted in our nation? Why has Trump never spoken out about the deceitful narratives that have kept Americans complacent by convincing them that Trump was "in control?" The messages being put out by such propaganda are dangerous to our nation; yet, instead of warning conservatives that they are being led astray by such narratives, Trump has often even encouraged people to buy into them. Is it because he is the hero of those fictions? Many are putting their trust in a guy who they have cheered on for calling out the fake news of the mainstream media, when the same guy hasn’t uttered a peep about the dangerous propaganda that has deceived so many into believing for the past 2+ years that he had some sort of a plan that they should trust. (And if he does have a plan, then it's a HORRIBLE one.)
Conservatives who have been paying attention should be calling upon Trump to explain why it is that he has never warned conservatives about the globalist/communist Q-related propaganda that they are the target audience of. A lot of the narratives have taken hold in some rather terrifying ways. Technocrat globalists (like Yuval Noah Harari) told us outright that nations could be defeated through technology/social media. The databases of collected information that they have on people allows them to know exactly what people want to hear, and those Q-related propaganda sources (which sound like China and Russia might be behind them) are very effective at getting many conservatives to believe them. In difficult times, the comfort of a lie is often preferable to having to face the harsh reality of the truth.
I have lost friendships because I have attempted to show to others the proof that those sources are full of deceit. Indeed, they are quite often blasphemous as well. People who are following any sources referencing Q are being taken in. And I know many people personally who have been. I was sent a video the other day put out by some “SGAnon” (not the first time people I know have forwarded me his videos), and I was appalled to hear him say that, in order to right the wrongs of history, Ukraine, Baltic States, and portions of Finland will soon be returned to Russia, AND that Taiwan will be reunited with China. What the hell? Messaging which conditions people to become more comfortable with globalist and communist ideas are parading around disguised as "MAGA." And it's working. So many conservatives will choose to shun those who don't buy into the propaganda before they will ever abandon those stories that bring them comfort. Believe me. I know what a pariah one is made to be for speaking out against the propaganda. But I guarantee you that those ideas don't have a damn thing to do with "Making America Great Again."
I am alarmed that so many conservatives have been consuming this propaganda like gangbusters. I know they are, because I keep encountering from so many the same talking point “defenses” of Trump which are straight out of the propaganda sources. Remember those videos of everyone in the mainstream media parroting the exact same lines, word-for-word, and in chorus? You could make the exact same type of video of conservatives now, for so many are parroting propaganda talking points that have taken hold. And, just as it is with the mainstream media, what they are parroting is a distortion of the truth.
It’s all being done so effectively, for there are multiple sources for the propaganda, and many of them have been legitimatized by having gained some advertising and interviews with people that conservatives trust. It says a lot about where we are when so many conservatives are following messaging which is conditioning people to accept the idea that Taiwan should be reunited with China. That same video also conditions people to accept the idea of provisional military control for half a year or so. But, hey, it’s all gonna be for your own good! I wouldn't worry about any of this propaganda if I didn't personally know so many who follow it and believe it as gospel truth. (As I said, I've lost many friendships for speaking out against it.) If we WERE to be told that we were going to have to accept some sort of global military control, I personally know people who would cheer it! They would say, "Yes! It's finally happening!" People are being led like sheep to slaughter, and they don’t even realize it.
So I’ll ask again—why has Trump not called out the dangerous propaganda that has led so many to believe in this globalist/communist-flavored plan that they should trust?

An important message from Voices of Nebraska
Our government derives its authority from the people.
If the people knowingly relinquish their right to a free election (which is what some are advocating for when they make the argument that we will survive holding a primary election which we believe to be unconstitutional), then do not expect that any elected government which failed to defend your constitutional rights when it had the chance is EVER going to restore to you what you so easily gave away.
This is how we take back our government and our vote--our VOICE!
Demand that your state senator uphold his or her oath to the constitution, and ask for an opinion from AG Peterson to be given to the people of Nebraska about the constitutionality of the terms of the ES&S contract.
Let's get ES&S out of our voting system BEFORE the primary. It would be one giant leap toward restoring election integrity. We have everything to lose if we do not do all that we can to hold on to our right to a free election, now--while we still have the chance.
What does it mean if our elected officials ignore concerns about the constitutionality of our elections?
Would Nebraska voters ever have agreed to the terms of the contract the State of Nebraska made with ES&S on their behalf?
Go look at the contract and decide for yourself.
https://statecontracts.nebraska.gov/Search/ViewDocument?D=7XEyLqmfbfEfFzaF9z49Gw%3D%3D
And you can find a detailed explanation of how the ES&S contract denies us our constitutional right to a free election here:

Wake up! How The Great Reset is apparent in the structure of our elections
If you understand what The Great Reset is, and the partnerships of power that the implementation of it depends upon, you will see the degree to which The Great Reset is reflected in the structuring of our elections. And you will see how dangerously close we are to losing our freedom.
Our vote is our voice in government, and our elections are no longer in our control. Big Government (which includes both state and federal levels) collaborates with Big Tech to control our elections. "We the People" have been cut out of the process completely.
When it comes to our vote and our voice in government, we are left with nothing. Are you happy about that?
I believe that we must get LOUD with our senators who perhaps do not realize the gravity of the situation. We must not allow them to make excuses and we must not permit them to kick the can down the road, because if we don't address this now--BEFORE the primary election in May--then I fear that the circumstances will become such that we will not have a future that will allow us to try to fix the problem at a later date.
I hope I am wrong. But should we chance it? Or should we alert our senators--and perhaps even also our governor, as this is very much an emergency, I think--that "we the people" demand to know that our next election in May will be secure. The way that we secure it is by getting ES&S out of our elections entirely, for it is the partnerships of ES&S, with both state and federal government, which mark the point at which "we the people" have been cut out of our elections. Our elections are being conducted unconstitutionally under such terms, and to permit ES&S to continue to be part of our elections is to disenfranchise EVERY voter in Nebraska.
I tried to keep the video short, but that means that there may be some context info that people need who have not seen or heard it before. This link gives more info (with links and evidence) to support what I am saying in this video.

Secretary of State Evnen lied to us--but is someone telling him what to say?
"Who's cheating who? Who's being true? And who don't even care anymore?"
I can't help but think that those old country song lyrics raise some pretty good questions that we ought to be finding the answers to with regard to all of the politicians in our state.
I've been hard at work ever since the November 2020 election trying to find those answers. I've learned a lot. This video is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to just how intertwined the Republicans are with the Democrats in our state.
It's time to look all of our elected officials in the eye and tell them to choose the side they will fight on going forward. Which of them will align with "we the people" and pursue true election integrity? And which of them will choose instead to continue to protect their political peers instead of protecting our rights?
I cannot guarantee that we will ever secure our elections. But I can 100% guarantee that--IF we continue to press them and make them answer to us--we CAN find out where each of our elected officials stand when it comes to securing our elections. Words will mean nothing. Actions are all that matter.

Accountability, God, and the Importance of a Strong Foundation
We cannot permit the foundation of our nation to grow weaker and still expect that when the storm comes, we will be strong enough to withstand it.

A Warning (and a Reminder)
The warning is this: All throughout the "pandemic" response, our elected officials have bent over and taken it from DHHS--and they are still granting to DHHS an authority that never should have been granted without question. Governor Ricketts permitted an "emergency" to remain in place which allowed DHHS to run roughshod over the rights of the people, all in the name of a public health crisis.
Were the mask mandates ever the will of the people? And I know we are repeatedly told to "follow the science," but where does that land us when the "science" is all over the map when it is selectively chosen to support an agenda? Why did our elected officials fail to defend the rights of the people?
The reminder is this: It is WE THE PEOPLE who collectively determine which rules of law we will consent to live by. What gives government their power is our CONSENT. We get what we accept, and things have been happening for some time now which I do not believe we ever should have given our consent to.DO NOT COMPLY.
If we consent to what everyone by now can see is nothing more than social control measures, then I believe that we will be opening the door for what is happening in Australia to happen here.
FIGHT BACK. RESIST.

Governor Ricketts and Senators Clements and Linehan on election integrity concerns
Here is audio of Governor Ricketts and Senators Clements and Linehan answering questions about election integrity concerns. (Warning: If you think that our elections are problematic, then their responses might piss you off.)
This was from a town hall Ricketts held on Voter ID a couple of days ago. When I say that this is the kind of accountability that we need--confronting our elected officials face to face rather than allowing them to repeatedly brush us off--what I mean is that this kind of thing only works when more of us are doing it and when we don't let up. As I've said before, getting better behavior from our government is no different than trying to get better behavior from a toddler. The discipline has to be consistent and never just a "one and done" scolding. That never works.
The responses given by Ricketts, Clements, and Linehan in this audio is just more evidence for why it is that I believe people need to stop making excuses for Republicans (even the "good" ones). Arguments that we mustn't rock the boat among conservatives in an election year, but should instead unite with the Republican Party, are absurd. They have not served conservatives well, and election time is precisely the time to put them all in the spotlight and conduct thorough interviews with them regarding the position in government which they are asking to hold. We have seen what happens when we don't.
Although I do not expect any meaningful response from the governor's office (if I even get a response at all!), I did compose a letter to send to his Chief of Staff, as Ricketts suggested in the audio. That letter is posted below. Feel free to send the same letter or your own to his Chief of Staff as well. (That would be Matt Miltenberger matt.miltenberger@nebraska.gov.) But what we really need is more people engaging in peaceful confrontations with our elected officials to demand answers and accountability from them face-to-face. I truly believe that such confrontations are the only peaceful option that we have to try to get any elected officials who may still have a smidgeon of integrity left within them to do the right thing. When we do not make any efforts to truly hold them accountable it is certainly easier for them to continue to side with the elites instead of with "we the people." The window of time in which peaceful intervention with a government that no longer listens to the people is growing smaller by the day.
*******************************************************************************************
Good morning, Matt. I spoke with Governor Ricketts at the town hall in Nebraska City for the Voter ID initiative. Many Nebraskans have concerns that the contract that exists between the State of Nebraska and ES&S results in a violation of Article 1-22 of the Nebraska State Constitution. Governor Ricketts said I should direct my concerns to you.
I would like to receive a written response to two specific concerns.
The first is that I would like an explanation of how it is that the terms of the ES&S contract do not pose an impediment to the right of eligible Nebraska voters to exercise the elective franchise. The process of voting does not end when one marks a ballot, but continues through until the counting of the vote. We know, according to Secretary of State Bob Evnen, that it is the machines that count the votes. All oversight of the machines is internal. There is no outside oversight of our elections, and if you examine the "Security Requirements" portion of the ES&S contract, you will find that the contract contains within it an agreement of non-disclosure that would prevent Nebraskans from ever knowing ANYTHING about the results of the security testing. It is forbidden. How is Article 1-22 of our state constitution not being violated when voters in Nebraska are being denied the transparency necessary to know that our votes are being counted as they are cast and that our voting system is a secure one?
The second concern that I would like to have addressed is regarding the claims that the machines in our elections do not connect to the internet. Can you please provide an explanation for what the "Security Requirements" portion of the ES&S contract is referencing? The contract specifically refers to "anti-virus protections" and "intrusion detection methods," to include vulnerability scans and penetration testing. It seems that such security testing requirements would not be necessary if vulnerabilities did not exist, and we know that they do because the Department of Homeland security designated the cybersecurity of our elections as critical infrastructure because the threats and vulnerabilities are so great. We also know that the use of Albert sensors allows remote access to the services provided by ES&S.
Despite these potential vulnerabilities, "we the people" are not permitted any outside oversight of our elections. Senator Linehan asked me at the town hall event what it is that I mean by "outside oversight." Currently, all oversight is internal and conducted by those who have declared the November 2020 election to have been "the most secure in American history." Outside oversight would mean that "we the people'' have some assurances that our elections provide us with the transparency that is required for there to be no hindrance or impediment to our constitutionally protected right to know that our votes are counted as they are cast. With no outside oversight of the machines that count the votes, I believe that our elections are being conducted in a manner which is unconstitutionally impeded and fraught with conflicts of interest and opportunities for undue influence.
It should also be considered a conflict of interest when no outside oversight by "we the people" is permitted and yet Secretary of State Bob Evnen's own name is on the ballot. Governor Ricketts' answer to me when I spoke with him was that "we the people" should trust those whom we elect to handle things for us. As I informed Governor Ricketts when he suggested that I take my concerns to Secretary of State Evnen (I have!), the man that Ricketts has endorsed to continue to serve as our Secretary of State has been proven to have lied to us and to have been negligent (at best) in the oversight he has previously provided regarding our elections.
Evnen claims that it was many months after the election that he learned about the $400,000 of Zuckerberg grant money that was spent in Lancaster County. He also has made claims that the grant money was spent on PPE in response to COVID-19. But this was not true. The report accounting for how every penny of the grant money was spent shows that not one red cent of it went toward PPE. In addition to not being accurate with Nebraskans about how the money was spent, Evnen has also made the claim that the Zuckerberg money had no influence on the outcome of any elections in Lancaster County. But how could he possibly know that the money had no influence on the outcome when he appears not to have known how the money was actually spent? The document detailing how the money was spent was easily obtainable by voters, and as oversight of our elections is Evnen's job, he should have known better. This negligence from the man that so many Republicans in our state have endorsed for reelection is something that many voters find concerning.
There is a mountain of evidence--much more than I have included in this letter-- that demonstrates why voters in the state of Nebraska no longer hold faith in the election process in our state. This is not the first time that I have reached out to the governor's office regarding my concerns about election integrity. The concerns of myself and of other Nebraskans have repeatedly fallen on deaf ears, including those of Secretary of State Bob Evnen whose job it is to provide oversight of our elections and who has demonstrated, at the very least, a proven negligence in the elected position that he holds and for which Governor Ricketts and many other Republicans in our state have continued to recommend him.
Many Nebraskans hold no faith in our election process. There is still time for Governor Ricketts to pursue election integrity in earnest before November by removing the vulnerable and corruptible ES&S services from being used in our elections. He would be a hero, not only to our state but to our nation, if he did. Voter ID is a no-brainer and we should have had it already, but it in no way addresses the real problems that exist with election security in our state. I would be happy to visit with you to go over this further, for as I have previously stated, this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to a review of the reasons that many believe our elections and the constitutional officer who holds the elected position of providing oversight of our elections (Evnen) can no longer be trusted.
I look forward to hearing from your office.
Respectfully,
Jennifer Hicks

"Trump-phobic rant" #1
So the title of my video is obviously meant to be tongue-in-cheek. But I'm not kidding when I say that I would not be surprised if "Trump-phobia" began trending. I can remember when conservatives used to make fun of those on the left who equate the word "phobia" with the word "hate," and who--because they do not want to engage in an actual conversation--will hurl such insults at a person and then run away.
Sadly, this is what many Trump supporters have begun to resort to as well. I haven't actually been called "Trump-phobic" yet, but I have many times of late been met with the equivalent label of being a "Trump hater." I'm not. But, as I have always said, running for office is a job interview, and if Trump is applying once again for the job of POTUS, then it is reasonable and right for us to interview the man and expect some answers from him. That's what I'm doing, because I think it is the smart and responsible thing for voters to do--no matter who the candidate is.

So sue me! (Ricketts on keeping the ES&S machines)
Clearly, Ricketts is not on the side of those who have concerns about the use of machines in our elections. Like Secretary of State Evnen (who has a proven history of lying to the people of Nebraska), Ricketts trusts the machines to count the votes more than he trusts the people of Nebraska.

THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGE I'VE EVER SENT
In this video, I share with you the specific actions that we can (and MUST) take to claim our rightful role in government. And it only takes a few minutes of your time to do it. :)
Here is the letter that I have written to AG Peterson. Please feel free to copy and send it as is, or use it in part or in whole in any way that helps you send the message that it is from "we the people" that our government derives its authority and that they work for us. The letter below may be sent to AG Peterson at ago.info.help@nebraska.gov. The other important letter that I reference in this video, which you may copy and paste to your senator, can be found here:
https://www.voicesofnebraska.com/silent-no-more/tired-of-the-tyranny-this-is-how-we-end-it
Please take a few minutes to send these letters. Do not underestimate the power that we hold when we speak up together. Thank you.

Candidate for Nebraska Attorney General
www.voicesofnebraska.com
Dear Attorney General Peterson,
I am writing to you in an attempt to get the answers and accountability that the people of Nebraska deserve to have when it comes to being able to have confidence that our elections are being conducted in a manner which is constitutional. Many Nebraskans believe that the contract between the State of Nebraska and Election Systems and Software (ES&S) denies voters their constitutionally protected right to an election that is free and without impediment or hindrance. I have raised this concern with each of our state senators and the few replies which I have received have not been satisfactory.
I propose that the contract was immediately void, for the terms within it deny voters the transparency and access to our voting system which would provide us with the assurances that our votes are counted as they are cast. The contract results in our elections being conducted in a way that reduces our selection of candidates at the ballot box to little more than an act of political theater. The people have been cut out of the process, and the proper focus on the purpose of our elections has strayed from what is written in our U.S. Constitution and Nebraska State Constitution.
The services provided by ES&S distance the voters from the election process. That is not to say that this is done by any intent on the part of ES&S, but it is a fact that the terms of the contract indicate that it is the desire of ES&S to prevent the State of Nebraska from revealing to the public the results of any security testing. In addition to this, ES&S has a very long history of instances of vulnerabilities in the services they provide, as well as a history of attempts to block information about the security of their services from being released to the public. The lack of transparency and the unwillingness of ES&S to be forthcoming when questions are raised about the security of the services they provide threatens Nebraskans' right to an election that is free and without impediment.
As referenced above, the replies I have received to my concerns have not been satisfactory. Senator Hilgers has responded to me that he has contacted your office on this matter and was informed that the office of the Attorney General "typically" only responds to requests which relate to a specific piece of legislation. As someone who is running for the office of Attorney General, Senator Hilgers should know that while it may "typically" be the case that opinions from the AG's office are tied to specific legislation, there are many instances of opinions rendered by the AG which fall outside of the scope of that and are handled at the discretion of the AG. A quick perusal of the opinions rendered by your office bears this out.
In addition to there being a pressing need for your office to address the apparent violation of Article 1-22 of the Nebraska State Constitution which would suggest that the contract is void, there are additional concerns which your office should immediately address regarding the overreach of the federal government into our state elections as well. The State of Nebraska should not be permitting the federal government to exercise the control over our elections which they currently hold. In designating elections to be critical infrastructure, those in the Department of Homeland Security have granted to themselves an authority which runs counter to our constitutional right to an election that is free and without impediment or hindrance.
Legislation that has been proposed during the current session of the Nebraska Legislature points directly to the potential for undue influence to occur in our elections when those from the private sector infuse money into the elections in certain areas of our state. Secretary of State Bob Evnen has on several occasions pointed out the impropriety of allowing such a practice to occur. What I would ask you, AG Peterson, is to examine whether or not a similarly improper relationship with the potential for undue influence does not also exist as a result of the many partnerships between the departments and agencies of the federal government, members of the private sector, and state election officials--all of whom work in unison with one another, and apart from "we the people." The people are the ones who should be closest to our elections, and yet we are removed from the process almost entirely by the collaboration between the state and federal government and those in the private sector (whose influence, according to proposed Legislative Bill 858, would be deemed improper if it occurred in isolation and not alongside the government). A number of bills are currently being considered in the Unicameral which specifically address vulnerabilities in our elections. Given the gravity of what it would mean if our state were to proceed forward with an election which many believe to be unconstitutional, I believe this matter must be addressed immediately and deserves your prompt attention.
In an "Executive Order on Improving the Nation’s Cybersecurity," dated May 12, 2021, former Senator Joe Biden declared that the contracts between the federal government and those in the private sector lacked the proper level of transparency, and so he ordered the "contractual barriers" with those in the private sector to be changed to accommodate a greater level of information-sharing with those in the Executive Branch. This Executive Order only increases the already heavy hand of the federal government in our state elections. It allows for those in the federal government and the private sector to tighten their grip on the election process and voting system in our state.
ES&S is one of those who partners with the federal government to provide cybersecurity for our elections. I believe that Nebraskans deserve an explanation as to how it is not an impediment and hindrance to our exercise of the elective franchise when those in the Executive Branch of government are permitted a greater level of access to our elections than the voters themselves. The process of voting does not end when a ballot is marked, but continues through to the point at which the vote is counted, and there must be guarantees to the people that this process is conducted fairly and securely at every step along the way. The involvement of ES&S in our elections denies us those guarantees. Are our elections not our own? They should be, and yet the voters in Nebraska have had our role in choosing who will represent us in government effectively reduced to little more than feel-good theater.
"We the people," by our authority as members of Nebraska's Second House, request that our concerns about the constitutionality of our elections be given your immediate attention, for this is a matter that must be addressed before the May primary. It is from the people of the Second House that the Office of the Attorney General is granted its authority, and with that honor and privilege comes a great responsibility. Many elected officials in our state have lost sight of the fact that this is true for the positions that they hold as well. We are at a pivotal moment in history. Do not underestimate the importance of your reply, for how you answer the concerns raised here will clearly define for the people exactly where it is that we stand in relation to our government. How you respond will inform how we proceed forward as free people, for if our government ceases to recognize and defend our rights, then the responsibility of ensuring our freedom falls directly to us. We will not acknowledge the authority of, nor consent to, any government which does not recognize and defend our rights as free people.

Jennifer Hicks

Does your senator think you are trying to overthrow the government?
[If you listen to this with headphones, be aware that there are some sudden fluctuations in the volume due to the varying quality of the recordings.]
Senator Slama seems to think that the only way her constituents can get representation is to hire a lawyer. What exactly does she think it is that she was elected by the people to do, I wonder?
I have repeatedly taken concerns (shared by many Nebraskans) regarding violations of our constitutional rights to a free election to EVERY senator in the Unicameral. Not a damn one of them will take these concerns seriously. So if you are a Nebraskan who believes that we deserve to have assurances from our government that our election process is one that ensures that our votes are counted as they are cast, then...well, you might be one of those folks out there who is trying to "overthrow the government."
Senator Slama is NOT representing the concerns of her constituents on this matter. As you can hear her reveal in the audio clip, she's already made up her mind that our elections ARE in fact being conducted constitutionally. So to hell with the concerns of the people regarding their constitutional rights. Shut up and take it, Nebraska. Republicans in our state are NEVER going to restore election integrity.
People need to know that they cannot trust nor rely upon ANY of our elected officials to take election integrity concerns seriously. They have had ample opportunity to take meaningful action and they have refused. THEY AREN'T GOING TO DO IT. Our "best" Republicans are allegiant to Ricketts and his crew (including Evnen) and NOT to us. They parrot the scripts from federal agencies and tell us that we should just trust those who oversee our elections and that we shouldn't be asking any questions. And that includes Republicans that people continue to cheer--like Senator Clements, for example. He is up for reelection--unopposed, I think, but it doesn't matter, because that makes him both the "best" and the "worst" candidate running. He should be pressed HARD to explain why he was once on board with supporting nation-wide audits, but then changed his tune following public comments against his support of the people's concerns which came from Ricketts and Evnen.
THEY HAVE HIM, and if they have Clements, then they have all of them. He was the only one who even had the courage to once attempt to speak up for election integrity. They shut him up. I have said this to him face-to-face on more than one occasion. It is interesting that he does not deny it. His only response is a blank stare. It's a little scary, actually. But the opportunity to get some accountability from those who are up for election/re-election is RIGHT NOW. But tribal allegiance to parties (and a hell of a lot of amnesia) cause us to cheer for candidates with an R next to their name, rather than to question them and put them on the record about what it is that they will do if elected. We should be making them EARN our votes. But we don’t. Shame on us.

TIRED OF THE TYRANNY? THIS IS HOW WE END IT.
Do you want to find out where "we the people" stand in relation to our government? Send this letter to your senator and find out. (Sign your own name, of course.) A downloadable version of the letter may be found at www.voicesofnebraska.com
Dear Senator,
I would like to bring to your attention a matter which I believe is pivotal in determining whether or not we continue forward as free people who hold a say in our government or if we will instead be subjects to a government which would seek to deny us expression of any thoughts or beliefs which they have not sanctioned.
Concerns have been raised about the most recent terror advisory bulletin from the Department of Homeland Security which calls for a control of narratives which is, quite frankly, un-American. Our country has gotten away from an adherence to the First (and most important) Amendment to our U.S. Constitution.
Over the last year, elected officials who swore an oath to uphold the constitutionally protected rights of the people have been largely silent and have permitted the true “bad actors”—which appear to be within our own government—to tread heavily upon the rights of the people. Accountability from those who have failed to act is long overdue.
Where have our representatives been when we have been pushed around by a government that thinks it has the right to impose upon us mandates for masks and vaccines—without any burden of having to prove than any of it is reasonably necessary? The legislation that has been proposed this session to try to remedy the overreach of the government not only comes far too late to be meaningful, but it also does nothing to truly address the problems. Instead, the proposed legislation to protect people from vaccines lends credence to false narratives and, if passed, would codify into our statutes some very bad COVID-19 policies.
Our senators who swore an oath to uphold the Constitution should not be proposing legislation which seeks to determine how far the government may overreach. True protection of our rights necessarily must begin with the acknowledgement that we, the people, have full exercise of our rights unless and until any person, employer, agency, etc. can prove beyond any doubt that what they are asking the people to do is reasonably necessary.
Nowhere throughout this entire COVID response were people’s rights defended in this way. Why the hell were they not? That is a question that I think all of our elected officials must answer. Why, when it came to information about the integrity of our elections and about COVID-19, did our elected officials adopt the one-sided propaganda narratives of the Department of Homeland Security? DHS tells us that they, and only they, get to inform us as to who the “trusted voices” are.
Ever since DHS designated elections in our country to be critical infrastructure on January 6, 2017, the control of our elections has been taken over at the federal level. This is unconstitutional, and it effectively gives the power to “count the votes” to a department of the federal government who promotes the narrative that those who question the outcome of elections might be terrorists, and that the only “trusted voices” that are permitted are those which come from agencies that are part of the Department of Homeland Security.
Senator, this is an undeniable threat to our freedom. I call upon you to speak TRUTH and be the voices of the people and the defenders of freedom that you were elected to be. By any means necessary, you should be using your elected position as the voice of the people to protect our precious right to vote, for that is how we hold a voice in our government. You can protect that right TODAY by beginning to speak out against the unconstitutional seizure of our elections that exists when the people are cut out entirely from the election process.
Election Systems and Software (ES&S) partner with DHS agencies like the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and they both also collaborate with state elected officials whose job it is to provide oversight of our elections. This is not conjecture. This is FACT. And ALL of them tell us that we have no right to be provided with any assurances that everything is being conducted on the level. Instead, we are told that election officials are the only ones who should be considered “trusted voices.”
The gatekeepers of our elections are the ones who are telling us that our elections are secure.
And they are the same gatekeepers of the "truth" about COVID-19.
This is unacceptable. I propose that we will know with certainty before the May primary whether or not we will have free and fair elections going forward. The answer to that question lies in how you, Senator, respond to our concerns when we cry out to you to be the representative of the people that you were elected to be. How you respond now will tell us everything that we need to know. You must choose whether you will become the voice of the people and defenders of our freedom, or if you will instead bend to the will of tyrants.
Will you uphold the oath that you swore? History will be the judge of how you answer that question. We will not acknowledge the authority of nor consent to any government which does not recognize and defend our rights as free people.
So what will it be, Senator? Do you stand with the people or do you stand with those who would have us be silent and submissive? I do expect a response from every senator to this letter. Those who fail to respond will have given their answer with their silence.
Respectfully,
Jennifer Hicks

Senator Linehan trusts Sec of State Bob Evnen. Do you?
Dear Senator Linehan,
We spoke the other day at the town hall event in Nebraska City for Voter ID about my concerns regarding the constitutionality of our elections and my concerns about the vulnerabilities that our elections are open to through the potential for connectivity to the internet which you claim does not exist. You told me that your office would provide me with a timely response, and so I look forward to hearing from you.
I am requesting a written response from your office that addresses concerns that many Nebraskans have about the lack of transparency in our elections that we believe denies us an election that is without impediment or hindrance to our constitutionally protected right (Article 1-22 of the Neb. State Constitution) to know that our votes are counted as they are cast. The "Security Requirements" section of the contract between the State of Nebraska and ES&S contains non-disclosure terms that do not allow the transparency that is necessary for there to be no impediment in our right to a free and fair election. When vulnerabilities are detected through testing, the public is never permitted to know. But what we do know 100% is that our elections are so vulnerable due to the use of machines that the Department of Homeland Security, on January 6, 2017, used the Patriot Act to designate the cybersecurity of elections to be critical infrastructure. This allowed the federal government a level of overreach into our state elections which they should not be permitted to have.
This is the same DHS that issues (and one is presently in effect right now) bulletins stating that those who question the outcome of elections should be considered a potential threat to the government. (And you're not supposed to question the government's COVID-19 measures either.) The departments and agencies of the Executive Branch are the ones who are providing the oversight of our elections, and we are not allowed to have any oversight of them. The answer from our government, per the "misinformation and disinformation toolkits" provided by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (part of DHS) is that if voters have questions about their elections, they should consult the "trusted voices" on elections to provide them with answers.
We are told that the "trusted voices" are the ones who conduct our elections, and yet, in the state of Nebraska, the oversight of our elections is conducted by Secretary of State Bob Evnen, whom we know for a fact lied to us when he told us that the $400,000 of Zuckerberg grant money spent in Lancaster County was spent on PPE (masks), when not one penny of it was spent on PPE. He also claimed that a thorough investigation of the matter showed that the Zuckerberg money had no influence on the outcome of elections in Lancaster County, but how could he possibly know that, when he wasn't even aware of how the money was truly spent? So why should we trust him? There are good and valid reasons why Nebraskans want outside oversight that ensures us that our elections are being conducted in a responsible way. The evidence we have shows us that they are not.
As I told you when I spoke with you the other day, all oversight is internal. I know that you and Governor Ricketts said you did not have a problem with there being no outside oversight of Secretary of State Bob Evnen conducting elections that he himself is a candidate in, but many Nebraskans see this lack of outside oversight as a significant problem. I look forward to your response to these concerns. You also told me that you were not familiar with the Albert sensors that are used in our elections, yet you have stated that you definitively believe that our elections are not susceptible to corruption because you believe they lack connectivity. As you know, many people all across our nation share concerns about the connectivity of the machines used in our elections. It seems silly to suggest that there is no connectivity, when the DHS deemed the cyber threats to our elections to be so great that they used those threats as a reason to give them greater access to the election processes of every state in the nation.
We don't even need to inspect the machines to know that information that is part of our election security is being transmitted and that remote services are being used. I'm not saying that the Albert sensors are the problem with our elections (though they certainly could be corrupted), but what I am saying is that I would like your office to provide me with answers that help to explain the adamant claims made to Nebraskans by our elected officials (including yourself) who insist that our elections are not in any way connected to the internet, when it is readily transparent that there is connectivity and that remote services are used. Please consult the links I am providing you with to learn more about Albert sensors so that you may become familiar with the reasons that many Nebraskans have concerns when we are told that the machines used in our elections have no connectivity. It was, in fact, Nebraska and ES&S who paved the way for the use of Albert sensors in elections across the nation.

Why is no one talking about this mass formation psychosis?
Why is no one talking about this mass formation psychosis?
How is it, do you think, that so many can purport to believe that the shots are deadly and yet simultaneously hold the view that Trump--who claims to be responsible for those "death jabs" (as many call them)--is somehow beyond reproach and not to be questioned with regard to his own self-proclaimed prominent role in the development of the shots which many claim to be the tool of murderers?
Many Trump supporters will get irate with you if you dare to suggest that they have succumbed to a mass formation psychosis with regard to their compartmentalization of beliefs surrounding the "death jabs" and their beliefs about Trump as the savior of our nation. But the evidence is there to show that a YUGE number of people in our nation--to include many of our elected officials and many influential talking heads on the conservative side--hold a faith in Trump that is completely incompatible with the views that they hold regarding the COVID shots that Trump has insisted HE deserves all of the credit for.
I often get told that I'm the crazy one for suggesting that such a mass formation psychosis exists, but it has already been evidenced in 2020 just how easy it is for our nation to so easily be convinced to accept and conform to narratives which are irrational. The best example of that was when our entire nation fell under a fear-induced mass formation psychosis that caused the vast majority of people to comply with the social control measure of wearing a mask. Even many who knew full well that the call for people to "mask up" had nothing to do with protecting people's heath still put on the mask. People made the choice to engage in an action which many knew made no sense, but they did so anyway, because it was the easier thing to do. Everyone else was doing it. To have gone against the grain would have been to stick out like a sore thumb among the masses of those who complied. And, hey, it's "just a mask." It would all go away after Trump was reelected in 2020. That's the excuse many gave to me when I would ask them why they would wear a mask when I knew that they didn't believe the masks protected against viruses.
So the reason that I am confident and will not back down in my assertions that so many in our nation are under a mass formation now with regard to the COVID shots and Trump's role in the development of them is because I also didn't go along with the mass formation psychosis which took hold of our nation regarding the masks. I didn't comply with the masks. I know what it's like to stand in a crowded place--a shopping mall or a store--and have people look at me as if I were the freak for not having put a mask on my face when everyone--and I do mean EVERYONE--else in the store had one on. I am fortunate to say that I never really was hassled for having never worn a mask-even in cities and states where masks were mandated. But fear is a powerful motivator, and I believe that in the minds of many, the fear of the consequences of not complying was greater than any threat of actual enforcement. And in the instances where people did get hassled for not wearing a mask, the response of those around them was largely just to watch and remain silent.
The mass formation psychosis of the masks was on full display when my oldest son started college. He had received a full-ride scholarship, inclusive of room and board, and on the day that he moved into his dorm, he was told that the campus was under a mask requirement for the first two weeks of school. He informed them that it was a violation of his beliefs to comply with the masking requirement. They told my son that he would have to sit out the first two weeks of class and then catch up in the third week when the mask requirement was supposed to have expired. Of course, he laughed at that because he knew that the masking would not end after only two weeks, but he agreed to sit out the first two weeks of class. He spent that time going all over the campus mask-free, trying to find others who would stand up to the ridiculous and nonsensical mask requirement. No one would. Many told them that they supported him and that they agreed with him, but that they didn't want to lose their jobs or get kicked out of school--which is what they believed would happen if they were to have supported him. And they were right. When so few people stand up to the nonsense, then the nonsense continues and those who do try to fight back find themselves picked off one by one--made examples of so that others will continue to comply.
The third week of college rolled around and my son showed up mask free to class. Of course, the mask requirement had been extended beyond the first two weeks of school (as he knew it would be). When he arrived in class without a mask--after spending the previous two weeks going all over campus without one--his failure to comply suddenly became a problem. He was told that if he didn't comply with the mask requirement in the classroom, then he would have to withdraw from the college. And so, rather than comply and go along with something which clearly had nothing to do with protecting health and had everything to do with exerting control over the masses, he refused to comply and he withdrew, forfeiting his full-ride scholarship. Many people tried to encourage him to take legal action against the school, but the truth is that the mass formation psychosis runs so deep that you'd be hard-pressed to find a lawyer who is willing to take such a case. I know many people who did search for such legal representation in 2020 and came up dry in their search. It is also notable that my son was attending college as a Criminal Justice major. The people within the Criminal Justice department at the college told my son that he was insubordinate for refusing to wear a mask and that he was a poor example of what it meant to be a Criminal Justice major. Let that sink in. These are the people who are training up those who will become our law enforcement officers, attorneys, judges, etc. And such a distorted sense of the law has been going on for decades. I myself dropped out of law school in my first semester decades ago because I knew that the way that the law was being taught way back then was not right.
My point in sharing all of this is to show that, despite the pushback I get from people when I suggest that many are under a mass formation psychosis with regard to Trump and the "vaccines," such an assertion is really not that far-fetched. We have a history of demonstrating that we can be made to accept that which is irrational out of fear for what will happen if we don't. I believe that is where we are now. I believe that people are so afraid and so desperate for someone to save our nation--as Trump says he will do--that they compartmentalize their support for Trump in ways which allows them to keep separate (and to ignore) Trump's very own claims that he is the person responsible for us having the shots that those same people believe are "death jabs." I think that, as with the masks, this is likely a fear-induced coping mechanism, for if those competing narratives were to collide in the minds of those who hold them, it would result in utter confusion and the shattering of what they believe to be reality.

Trump: "The key was always going to be the vaccines"
This is a portion of a video I shared months ago, but every bit of it is still relevant. Many like to claim that the COVID vaccines preceded the plandemic. What people fail to realize, though, is that having a vaccine means nothing if there is no funding to ensure the production and distribution of it.
The short clip at the end is from the movie "Elf.," referencing a situation in which there was a printing error that got pushed through in order to avoid the cost (and blame) that would result from acknowledging the error. Ship 'em anyway. It's what I was reminded of when I first saw Fauci (and his shit-eating grin over what he was getting away with) in this interview.
Granted, the start-up money for the mass production of the COVID vaccines came from US--from our government funding (and on Trump's watch), but do you think that there was ever any chance that anyone involved in this was going to ever put the brakes on any of it if safety concerns arose?
Having known people who held patents which were never funded to fruition, I already knew that money was what made the difference in something getting manufactured and distributed--or not. I was surprised to have recently stumbled across an old episode of the television show "Medium" that not only demonstrates the importance of what Fauci refers to as the "necessary investment," but which also does a fair amount of frightful foreshadowing of what people are willing to go to in order to get that "necessary investment." This episode of "Medium" can be viewed on Amazon Prime or by purchase through YouTube. I will link to the episode below, but for those who don't have Amazon Prime or who don't wish to buy the episode from YouTube, I have summarized it below. The episode aired in 2009.
Allison: Boy, there’s a lot of strangers around here today. What’s going on?
Detective Scanlon: Oh, it’s a hush-hush briefing with some guy from FEMA.
Conversation taking place in the briefing room:
Man from FEMA giving presentation: This picture was taken in 1996. The subject lived in a small village in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He succumbed to a disease called viral hemorrhagic fever. It’s very rare. The strain responsible for this man’s death is called FV-39. Ladies and gentlemen, FV-39 is of particular concern to us because the virus holds up well in transport and weaponization. In fact, there are a few of us who believe that it would be an ideal agent for a bioterrorist attack against the United States. FEMA has been trying to create an antiserum, a cure that can be deployed in the event of just such a bioterrorist attack. In fact, we’ve been working very closely with a company right here in Phoenix that is at the forefront of that effort. Dr. Erik Westphal heads up the biopathology division of United Southfield. I’ll let him take it from here.
Dr. Westphal: Our lab is a Bio-Safety Level 4 lab. That means we are handling some of the deadliest microbes on the planet. Naturally, both our company and the federal government spend extraordinary amounts of time and money monitoring our inventory. When the government inspectors gathered their data and filed their latest reports, there appeared to be trace amounts of FV-39 culture missing from some of our samples. This isn’t the kind of thing that you would notice on a day-to-day basis, but over time there is a measurable amount of this bug that we simply can’t account for.
Man from FEMA: Worst case scenario, ladies and gentlemen, is that someone either sold or gave these cultures to someone who intends to use them as a weapon of mass destruction. We at FEMA need to move forward as if that were the case.
...There will be no alert. There will be no notification. There will be no public announcement of any kind. As a matter of fact, the only people who know anything about this are sitting in this room right now. And that is the way it’s got to stay. Dr. Westphal doesn’t agree with that decision, but the fact is, at this moment, ladies and gentlemen, we do not have an effective antiserum in sufficient quantities to deal with this. As a result, the preventive measures that we can take are limited.
District Attorney: Dr. Westphal, if this FV-39 virus is out there—how bad could it get? How many people could be affected?
Dr. Westphal: It’s hard to say. It’s not an airborne virus. It’s spread by people, to people, and it carries a mortality rate of about 85%, which makes it such an effective threat. Again, depending on how long it was out there and how soon we were able to contain it, hundreds of dead...thousands, maybe. It’s just too hard to say for sure.
Later on in the show, we learn that a man who was an employee at the biolab learned he was infected with the virus and loads up the back of his car with gasoline in order to deliberately crash to his death to avoid spreading the virus to others. Everyone who showed up at the scene of the accident had to be isolated and tested to ensure that the virus had not spread. (It didn’t).
Dr. Westphal: This virus, there are organizations, movements, that would pay a fortune for even a minute amount of it. You infect one person and then expose him to as many people as possible before he succumbs, and you could decimate a small city. Now, at our lab, we were working on this virus—working on a cure. How Mitch became infected, we still don’t know, but I can’t believe that it was an accident. There are just too many safeguards, too many checks and balances. The fear is that he was attempting to steal some and sell it.
...It’s not that we don’t have an antivirus, by the way. It’s just that we don’t have enough funding to produce it in meaningful quantities. It’s about two cents a person, actually. I mean, if every U.S. citizen paid two cents, we’d have enough to inoculate the entire city of Phoenix. Or Philadelphia. Or San Antonio. Just astounding, right?
So once the news of the virus gets leaked out, fear ensues. People start wearing masks and calling into work because they are scared. The main character, Allison, is offered a mask and declines. (Says she is holding out for the full body suit worn by the people who showed up at her house to ensure that she hadn’t contracted the virus.)
The story unfolds to reveal that FEMA investigators believed the man who was infected accidentally infected himself when he was trying to sell the virus. They were able to determine that the sale never took place. We later find out that the man WAS trying to make a sale of the virus on behalf of Dr. Westphal who had targeted Mitch to do his dirty work for him. The truth of what happened is that Mitch couldn’t make the deal (he presumed the buyers feared he was from the government), so Dr. Westphal engaged in contact with Mitch (a kiss) and infected him. Westphal then, in front of Mitch, consumed what he said was the last of the antiserum.
Westphal: It’s not happening, is it?
Mitch: I’m sorry. They don’t buy it. They all think that it’s a setup. That maybe I’m working for the government.
Westphal: So it’s not happening.
Mitch: Maybe you picked the wrong guy. I think, deep down, I don’t want to be the one who sells the virus to some nuts. Gets a lot of innocent people hurt. I mean...I’d do it if I had to.
Westphal: You think you don’t have to? You see Congress approving production of our antiserum? Neither do I. You know why? Because they can’t see microbes. They can see planes flying into buildings. They can see suicide bombers. But they can’t see microbes.
So that is what led to Mitch deliberately crashing his car full of gasoline to incinerate himself and the virus. FEMA announces that all is clear and that the threat has passed.
FEMA guy: And just when you think that there is nothing good that can come from something potentially so frightening, the folks on Capitol Hill woke up this morning and heard about the panic that was slowly spreading throughout the Southwest, and I’ve been told that an appropriation is in the works to allocate sixty million dollars to the production of FV-39 antiserum.
Dr. Westphal happily applauds that announcement:
Westphal: We have antiserum to manufacture. We are finally getting to do the work that we were meant to do. Feels good. So, um, what can I do for you?
Allison: Well, you can admit that you murdered your friend, Dr. Lomis (Mitch), and that this entire panic about FV-39 virus is contrived.
What we later find out is that Westphal has been hospitalized for the flu. The doctor at the hospital assures him that he has nothing to worry about—that many had been hospitalized recently with the flu and all of them pulled through just fine. Enter the ghost of Mitch Lomis at the bedside of Westphal.
Mitch: He doesn’t know that you had an allergic reaction to that antiserum. Sure, it cured the disease—kept you from dying of viral hemorrhagic fever, but we always knew a tiny part of the populace would react badly to it. Which is why, when you felt that first itch at the back of your throat, must have been a surprise, huh? You didn’t wait. You gave yourself a massive dose of steroids to halt the reaction. Because you knew better. You were one step ahead as always. But you never counted on the flu. And now, with your immune system completely compromised by those steroids, your body has no way to fight it off. You might as well have FV-39 or the black plague, for all the immune response you can muster.
Dr. Westphal dies.

Secretary of State Bob Evnen is a "bad actor"
This video is a continuation of concerns that I have raised about the performance of Secretary of State Bob Evnen in his role of providing oversight of our elections. I do believe it is fair to say that Evnen may be called a "bad actor." That is not to say with any certainty that he is acting maliciously, but what CAN be said with certainty is that he is either incompetent or corrupt. One of those two things is true.
With the upcoming primary elections in May, it is of the utmost importance that we demand that the elected officials of our state address the imperiled integrity of our elections. This is a fire that needs to be put out now. This is not a can to kick down the road.

Constitutional Concerns About Nebraska's Elections
What does it mean if our elected officials ignore concerns about the constitutionality of our elections?
Would Nebraska voters ever have agreed to the terms of the contract the State of Nebraska made with ES&S on their behalf?
We need our senators to ask Attorney General Peterson to address these concerns BEFORE the primary election in May. We should not proceed into a primary election when the terms of the contract governing every aspect of our voting system appear to deny us our constitutional right to a free election.
Here is the link to the contract referenced in this video:

We have a duty to disobey
Disobedience is an obligation when to do otherwise would put us out of alignment with God.
If you haven't yet seen JP Sears recent video, "Why I Changed My Mind About Evil," then please go check it out after viewing the short clip I've shared here from Leigh Dundas.
JP always nails it, and the video linked below is no exception. He offers suggestions for what we can do so that freedom (God) may prevail over tyranny (evil). The most important of his suggestions is to "Stay Aligned." All of the things he advises us to do will fall apart if we do not act in accordance with our principles and values, which are rooted in our faith. When we do not openly and actively LIVE our faith, we are most definitely out of alignment.
JP says that we must have the "courage of the warrior's spirit," and that people often struggle with that. But it is courage which allows us to stay, as JP says, "unapologetically" aligned. The "unapologetic" part requires having the courage of one's convictions to act, even (as he also points out) in ways that can pull us out of our comfort zone. That means doing what your gut feeling is telling you is right, even when you try to tell yourself that you "have no choice."
The Gateway Pundit article, from which the clip of Dundas is excerpted can be viewed at the link below. It is worth visiting the link to hear what else she has to say.

My challenge to candidates: Put your courage where your mouth is
Candidates who seek to be representatives of the people and defenders of our constitutionally protected rights should, if they win on May 10th, commit to refusing to accept the outcome of an election conducted using ES&S services, which deny us the right to a free and fair election.
Currently, there is no effective system of checks and balances within our government. All branches have aligned and appear to have entered into an agreement to protect one another, rather than protecting the rights of the people. And now, more often than not, our state doesn't even provide a check upon overreach from the federal government. Concerns about the constitutionality of our elections have repeatedly fallen on deaf ears at every level of government, so that we are left with no representation. No one within the government has the courage to say what should be said, and that is that the federal government is holding our elections hostage and threatening Americans by telling them that they must not question the outcome of how THEY--the federal government--are conducting them.
Nebraskans are being robbed of their rights when ES&S services are used. We need people with the COURAGE to stand up to the bullying government and finally give a voice to the people. If we move on from an unconstitutionally conducted election and accept such a violation of our rights, then we will be sending the message to our government that we will, in fact, accept being tread upon.
Where are the voices of the candidates seeking to represent us? As they are seeking offices which require them to swear an oath, they should prove NOW that they are willing to put themselves in the line of fire--even between the people and the Department of Homeland Security--in order to fight for their constitutionally protected rights. Secretary of State candidate Bob Borer campaigns on using the bully pulpit to give a voice to the people, and yet, when I have challenged all candidates to be so bold as to speak up now and commit to speaking out against the tyrants, even if they win on election night, he has refused. He is content to accept the outcome if it results in a win for him. If I am elected, I will not do the same. We cannot be sincere in our assertions that our elections are conducted unconstitutionally and then just accept and move on from the primary if it happens to turn out in our favor. If Borer is sincere in his tough talk about using the bully pulpit, he would join me and commit to taking a public and vocal stand against Big Government and Big Tech by speaking out now and on May 10th if he is the winner in the primary.
