Saskia pulls moms blanket to wake her up

When Saskia the German Shepherd was 9-months-old she went to the lake for the first time and loved riding on a jet ski with her owner. What a cool dog! German Shepherd dogs are the number one most popular dog breed in the United States. And why wouldn’t they be - they are sensitive, affectionate, amazing with kids and incredibly loyal. German Shepherds are moderately active dogs and are described in breed standards as self-assured. They make them excellent guard dogs, but can become overprotective of their family and territory, especially if not socialized correctly.

Scout and Saskia play inside on a hot day, but there may not be enough room for their game of tag! They take turns around the dining room table, in the kitchen, through the hallway and back the same way again! As they are both fully grown, adult German Shepherds, this isn’t easy! So epic!
