Quick interview with a pro-Trump supporter at a counter rally and march held in downtown Los Angeles. About 70 pro-Trump supporters marched through downtown LA chanting and holding American flags.

A 30 foot sink hole opens up and swallows a SUV in Studio City. Heavy storm rains may have cause the sink hole to develop. Two cars were swallowed by the sink hole and one driver was rescued by LAFD.

LA area residents pose with the statue named "Emperor Has No Balls." Several statues named popped up in several cites across the US today. This one was in East Hollywood. The statue was made by a group of artist upset with Presidential candidate Donald Trump. Most of the statues were removed by city officials.

The CA 15 freeway is closed in both directions due to the Blue Cut wildfire burning in the Cajon Pass in Southern California. The fire is still burning in the area and the freeway will need some moderate repairs. The 15 is a major artery for travelers going to Las Vegas and the trucking industry.

The Queen Mary celebrates it's 80th anniversary since it's launch. A 15 foot long 600 pound ship cake was made in her honor. The Queen Mary is now berthed in Long Beach harbor and is a major tourist attraction.

Surfers enjoy giant waves at the Wedge, a famous surf spot in Newport Beach, California, where some of the storm-driven swells were reported to hit 25 feet in height. The conditions were generated by Hurricane Marie, which had built momentum off the Baja coast. The swells generated by the hurricane were believed to be the largest seen in years in the region. Los Angeles protesters greeted Mexican President, Enrique Pena, outside the Billtmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. President Pena spoke along side with California Governor inside the hotel.

Flowers were placed today on Robin Williams' star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame amid an outpouring of sorrow for the comedian and Oscar-winning actor, who died of an apparent suicide on August 11th, 2014 at his Marin County home following what his publicist called "severe depression". Raw footage showing intense flooding at the UCLA campus after a 30-inch water pipe burst underneath Sunset Blvd, producing a powerful geyser of water. Water and mud flooded the athletic area of the campus with several feet of standing water. An estimated 8-10 million gallons of water was lost in the main break, according to the Department of Water and Power. Video by Ted Soqui.
