This was set up in a garden centre. Attracted a lot of attention from the kids and adults alike. Brought a lot of cheer to the place.

Another video of chimpanzees at play in a zoo enclosure. Keeping themselves occupied with empty boxes. They were indoors because of the winter months. Otherwise they have beautiful surroundings outside where they love to be amongst the trees and shrubs.

These chimpanzees were filmed trying to keep themselves busy with empty boxes in our local zoo . Zoo keepers have to improvise all the time and think of different ways to keep them amused. They always put on a good show when they are active.

My nephew, who was five and a half years old when this video was made, always had excess energy. He loved it when he joined a karate club. This is him showing off his skills at a family gathering.

It is very rare that we see giraffes running around their enclosure at our local zoo. Mostly they are standing around until they get fed or prefer to be inside their house.But on this occassion these young ones were happy to put on a show. Maybe they were trying to warm up on this cold January day.

These young elephants love playing football. They could show the professional footballers a move or two !!

These lemurs, who are native to the island of Madagascar, come out to play when the conditions are right. They like the warm condtions and love to be out in the sun, but not when it is too hot. They do put on a good show and even land very gently on the shoulders of the visitors to the zoo when leaping around in the air.

Elly gets her exercise with her frisby in the beautiful surroundings of Mayrhofen in Austria.

This is a video of a friends dog called Elly who loves playing with her frisby especially in the water. On this occasion she lost her frisby and found it only to lose it again. As you can see she didn't mind putting her head under water to look for her toy.

These otters in a local zoo are a playful lot. Most of the time is spent playing with pebbles or slightly larger rocks. They lie on their backs and roll them in the air with their paws. They also love swimming in the water around them. They are expert swimmers and love floating on their backs. But when its food time they look out for the van bringing them their goodies. They can hear it in the distance and that's when all the racket starts. This video shows their reaction when they can hear and see the van coming with their food.

This poor meerkat was so tired after sentry duty on top of the artificial rock at our local zoo that it just couldn't keep its eyes open after coming down. We all know that feeling. Poor thing.
