Here's something that you don't see every day! Tourists traveling through Yellowstone National Park experienced an incredibly tense moment after a bison herd came charging straight towards their vehicle. Luckily they managed to avoid any contact. What would you do if you saw a herd of this bison headed towards your car? Nature is an amazing thing. Being in a developed area, you are not exposed to the same degree of nature as you would in say a rain forest or a mountain. Because of that, these kinds of encounters are extremely rare. To be safe, it is best not to engage these animals as they are massive in stature and weight, making it very easy to overpower a human. Check out this insane encounter with a herd of bison. Yellowstone is known for its geothermal activity and large mammals, especially elk, wolves, American bison, bears, pronghorns, moose and bighorn sheep. Yellowstone bison are exceptional because they comprise the nation’s largest bison population on public land and are among the few bison herds that have not been hybridized through interbreeding with cattle.
