#237 Viewers Comments & Candidate Commitments
Hats off to our viewers. The FAIRtax Guys read a few of the comments left by our viewers about recent episodes of FTPR. And since this episode first airs on election day, it's appropriate to recognize the many candidates for the US House and Senate who signed the FAIRtax Candidate's Pledge. These are the people who will push the FAIRtax forward when they are sworn into office in January. And at that time, we go to work on the 117th Congress.

#238 Certainty vs. Uncertainty
Since the Presidential Election was undecided at the time of this recording, the nation does not know who the President will be next year. They also don't know what the tax policy will be. Will it be President Trump who has promised more tax cuts or Mr. Biden who has promised tax increases on corporations and wealthy people? This uncertainty is bad for business and would disappear if we had the FAIRtax as the nation's tax policy.

#240 Who Pays Corporate Taxes?
After reviewing several viewer comments and a much smaller list of proposed tax code changes on Congress.gov, The FAIRtax Guys take a look at Vice President Biden's plans for tax increases, especially his plan to increase corporate taxes. Noting that this subject is handled in Chapter 3 of The FairTax Book by Boortz and Linder, they explain who really pays corporate taxes and how tax increases affect our economy.

#349 2022 Tax Proposal Hall of Shame
Every week, the FAIRtax Guys look at congress.gov to see what kind of changes the Congress Critters are proposing for the tax code. And every year, there are thousands of these changes—many sought by lobbyists on behalf of special interest groups.
Some are blatant attempts to use the tax code to push a political agenda. Others are incomprehensible on their face, and others are filed under “What the heck is THAT doing in the tax code??” The best of the best (or is that the worst of the worst?) are inducted into the FAIRtax Power Radio Tax Proposal Hall of Shame. See which ones made this year’s Hall, bearing in mind that the FAIRtax gets rid of all of this craziness by doing away with the entire Internal Revenue Code.

#247 The All Important Prebate
The Prebate is the key to fairness with the FAIRtax and yet some people still do not understand its importance or how it works. After noting the new proposals to change our tax code in the new 117th Congress, The FAIRtax Guys examine in detail how the Prebate works and how it makes the FAIRtax progressive, not regressive.

FAIRtax Power Radio’s first candidate pledge interview for 2022 is with Jameson Ellis another candidate from Texas District 2. #298 Where We Stand
The FAIRtax Guys open 2022 with a look at where three critical indicators of FAIRtax success stand. They take stock of the number of cosponsors in Congress, the number of candidates who have signed the FAIRtax pledge, and the number of vendors on the FAIRtax Marketplace. FAIRtax volunteers across the country should be striving to push all three of these numbers higher.

#303 Meet Milam Langella
Milam Langella is the third of the three primary challengers to incumbent Dan Crenshaw in Texas district 2 to sign the FAIRtax candidate pledge. In this episode of FAIRtax Power Radio, the FAIRtax Guys reveal an exciting new project that John Gaver is working on that should be of great benefit to FAIRtax volunteers around the country. Then, attention turns to Langella as he speaks first with Gaver, and then with FAIRtax Guy Bob Paxton. In his interview with Gaver, he makes a startling revelation about a growing movement in Texas which Paxton gets him to expound upon. #301 Taxpayer's Bill of Rights
Last week the FAIRtax Guys found an unbelievable piece of insanity on page 76 of IRS Publication 17. That’s the document intended to give individuals all the information they need to know in order to fill out their 2021 Federal tax returns. So, thinking that there must be more gold buried in those 140 pages, the Guys continued digging and found this little gem—The Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights.
On page 125, the IRS lists ten “rights” that taxpayers supposedly have in their dealings with the agency. Join Bob and Bob as they go through the list comparing what’s on paper vs. what dealing with the IRS is really like in the real world. It’s an eye-opening experience and further proof that the only way to fix the tax code is to pull it all out and replace it with the FAIRtax.

#251 The VAT: Another Swamp Tool
Most of this episode is an interview with Steve Hayes, President of AFFT, on the subject of a VAT (Value Added Tax) as proposed by Senator Ben Cardin and how it compares to the FAIRtax. Steve had a lengthy discussion with Senator Cardin about his proposal which would give us a VAT as well as an income tax. Few in this country have more expertise in tax reform than Steve Hayes so enjoy this very informative episode of FAIRtax Power Radio.

#308 CPAC Wrapup
The FAIRtax Guys were privileged to represent the FAIRtax at the recently concluded CPAC conference in Orlando FL. Several other FAIRtax volunteers from as far away as California were in attendance.
As they do every year, Bob and Bob made their way around CPAC Central, the vendor/exhibitor area, talking to other attendees, telling them about the FAIRtax and learning about the various causes they represent. In that process, Bob Paxton had the opportunity to speak with “America’s Toughest Sheriff”, Joe Arpaio from Arizona. Bob Scarborough scored an interview with David Thomas Roberts, an author who calls himself “the most audited man in America”. Follow the FAIRtax Guys around CPAC in this episode of FAIRtax Power Radio, and make your plans to join them at the next one.

#379 My Data is Safe - NOT
For over a century, the government has been collecting sensitive personal and financial data on people in order to collect an income tax. And for over a century, the government has been assuring people that their sensitive data will be held in the strictest confidence. The law says it’s a felony to disclose a taxpayer’s confidential data without permission. Unfortunately, that hasn’t stopped people’s data from being hacked, leaked or otherwise disclosed to people who have no right to have it.
This week, the FAIRtax Guys discuss a particularly egregious and disturbing breach of taxpayer confidentiality. Several tax preparation companies have been caught red handed sharing taxpayers’ data with Big Tech.

John recently sat down with the FAIRtax Guys for a wide ranging conversation covering everything from how the current scramble for House Speaker may affect the FAIRtax to how to re-ignite the public passion that was on display when the FAIRtax was first introduced to the American people
