Shortly after receiving the Gardasil vaccine, Colton developed Transverse Myelitis, a neurological disorder caused by inflammation of the spinal cord. He was permanently disabled by the condition and became dependent on a large mobile apparatus in order to breathe. After a debilitating battle, Colton tragically took his own life on January 5th, 2018, because he no longer wanted to ‘be a burden’ on his family.’ The Gardasil vaccine robbed him of the life he deserved to have. “The day of his vaccines, he screamed for hours after receiving them.” Alexander Locke Johnson suffered a seizure and cardiac arrest on April 29, 2005, three and a half days after receiving his first set of vaccines. The vaccines he received were the DTaP, HiB and Hepatitis B combo (Comvax), inactivated polio, and Prevnar. He coded, but was revived and placed on life support, however, the damage to his brain was catastrophic. He died as a result of seizure and encephalopathy that resulted from his two-month vaccinations on April 25, 2005. Through an independent autopsy, expert medical and legal testimonies, and years battling the Vaccine Injury Court, their case was proven true and they were awarded $250,000. CHD found, via a FOIA request, that researchers at UNC received a $4.7 grant from the NIH and NCI to determine the best way to increase HPV vaccine uptake. Researchers concluded bullying is the best strategy.
