The White Rose song
The White Rose song, performed several years ago by the late George Donaldson, perfectly encapsulates The White Rose movement in 1943 and its founder, Sophie Scholl. It is a call to courage, to non-violent action and to the defense of free speech everywhere. This is the heartbeat of Citizens for Free Speech and should be required listening for every American.

Episode 46: Free Speech is not Violence
On the latest Stand and Deliver: Patrick and Bob address the latest threats to free speech online--forcing self-censorship by linking opinions to violence caused by others. At issue is the attempt to blame online criticism of controversial bodily mutilation of children for violent actions against people in the LGBTQ community. Politicians, celebrities, and media members have also claimed that refusing to use made-up, hand-crafted "pronouns" for people who self-identify as other random beings is also a form of violence.
Any violent acts against any group of people are completely condemned by CFFS, and by everyone who is critical of the agenda to groom or recruit kids into confusing, alternative lifestyles. Free Americans must not allow fear of being linked to acts that they have nothing to do with lead to their own self-censorship.

CFFS National Town Hall: Weaponization of Language
In George Orwell’s famous book, Nineteen Eighty-Four, Newspeak was the dumbed down language created by redefining meanings of common words. The CFFS National Town Hall will explore how this technique has been applied to our own language: words and phrases are redefined with the predictable result of confusion, loss of meaning and mis-communicating. Newspeak gave a new dimension to propaganda, making it even more compelling and addictive to the masses.
Join CFFS founder and executive director Patrick Wood and special guest Leslie Manookian for a discussion on how language is used to deceive the masses and the potentially devastating effects it has on society.

California Cancelling... Medicine!
On the first episode of Stand in Deliver of 2023, we pick right off where we left the disastrous year of 2022: Defending free speech against the full frontal attacks that we all face. The state of California starts the new year with a new law forbidding doctors from being doctors. No physicians in the state are permitted to discuss diagnoses of illnesses or possible treatments unless they are consistent with the state medical community's "consensus" on the conditions. One of the most dangerous new laws to come down the line anywhere in America. Additionally, Bob and Pat discuss the danger of a United States senator declaring that "hate speech" is NOT protected by the First Amendment...while one school district in Virginia puts that to the test by trying to silence parents who say things that board members don't like.

Episode 66: Courage, Conviction & Action in Uncertain Times
Dropping out of society, ignoring the bad news, and simply getting on with our lives is a common daydream many of us seem to share. Unfortunately, that's not realistic given the perilous times in which we live. In this episode, Mary Baker and Kimberly Miller from Citizens for Free Speech discuss recent news articles that remind us the battle for our freedom must be fought civilly and proactively. Complacency and complicity is not an option. We are called to run toward the conflict by engaging in our local communities and showing up at the ballot box in the coming year.

WEF: Free Speech an Existential Threat to the Planet
On Episode 51 of Stand and Deliver, the World Economic Forum in Davos is underway, and the top target for those with a globalist agenda: Free Speech! No less than the publisher of the New York Times declared that free speech--which allows for what they call 'misinformation'--is the most existential threat on the planet. They are terrified of the prospect of average citizens sharing information that challenges their own, and interferes with their agenda.
On the social media front, LinkedIn has joined Twitter and Facebook as one the latest company to spike posts and cancel accounts of people who share information with which their "fact-checkers" disagree. We go inside the story shared by PJ Media.
And on January 20, the Supreme Court will determine if they will take up a lawsuit filed by the states of Texas and Florida over the Silicon Valley power to censor opinions and points of view based solely on ideological differences.

Does the Proposed RESTRICT Act "restrict" Too Much?
On Episode 61 of Stand and Deliver....Patrick and Bob discuss a potentially dangerous bill that blurs the lines between who is fighting for free speech in the federal government and who is opposed. The bill to ban TikTok, the viral sensation owned and controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, sounds like a good one on the surface, but is there language in the bill that would allow the government to suppress other "threats to national security" as the government may define it? Could the "RESTRICT" act dangerously expand the national security state? Also up for discussion, the IRS appears to be targeting independent journalist Matt Taibbi for his deep dive reporting on the ties between social media companies and Democrat politicians, putting all journalists on notice that their freedom of the press might have more limitations than they realize. We also discuss the "political economy" of free speech, as well as speech that is NOT protected by the First Amendment when it is used to threaten the lives of those with whom you disagree. All of this is on the table on the latest Stand and Deliver...so be sure to share this episode with like-minded Free Speech Defenders! Episode 63: A Salute to the Constitution
CFFS Executive Director Kimberly Miller and CFFS National Training Director Mary Baker unite to resume the Stand & Deliver Podcast.
The recent observance of Constitution Day on Sept. 17 is the springboard for this week's conversation and centers around the idea that the document and the form of government was intended for an engaged citizenry. Kimberly and Mary explore what that means, especially in light of unalienable rights and the concepts of power versus authority. Highlighted within the discussion are three recent news stories that illustrate how citizens are most effective exercising their power and influence and power at the local level.

Episode 65: Portrait of a Local Activist
A distinct stereotype often comes to mind when one thinks of the word activist. It is generally associated with a coercive, retaliatory, or even violent persona. In this episode, CFFS director Kimberly Miller and national training director Mary Baker explore an alternative, more transformative view of the activist moniker that emerged over the course of a three-month collaborative discussion among members of Local Activist Accelerator. Three key characteristics, along with their distinguishing traits, became clear. Mary Baker has consolidated the results of the conversation into a newly-produced video called Portrait of a Local Activist that will inspire a new, more hopeful perspective of what it means to participate in the public process to effect change.

The Westminster Declaration, signed by more than 130 individuals from around the world, was recently released and emphatically asserts "open discourse is the central pillar of a free society." Canada today - America tomorrow?
On Episode 56 of Stand and Deliver...Patrick and Bob discuss the disturbing case of a student arrested in Canada for expressing his opinion...and then try to decide how long it will take for this to be done in America. A 16-year-old student in a private, Catholic school was ejected from his school for disagreeing with rules regarding biological males and females in school restrooms, and eventually arrested for trespassing when trying to return to class. Canada does not abide by the U.S. Bill of Rights, but our concern is that the U.S. will soon be the same way. Cancel culture is real, and expressing opinions that challenge the prevailing Leftist orthodoxy is a recipe for disaster. The guys also try to peel back the layers of the Artificial Intelligence onion. With major U.S. publishers turning to AI to write stories for them, the questions of liability and of First Amendment protections begin to turn in many different directions.
Join us for Episode 56, and don't forget to share the link with other Free Speech Warriors!
