Mechanix Wear M-Pact MPT-88 Glove (Initial Impression) Adventure Glove, Dual Sport Glove
This is an initial impression video about the Mechanix Wear M-Pact Glove, model # MPT-88-012 (XXL) Wolf Grey.
I was looking for a good touch screen friendly glove to use while dual sporting, or on adventure rides, to make it easy to navigate using an old smart phone with a gps app. I saw these on sale somewhere for around $27, so I thought I would try them. If they don't workout, I'll still have a good pair of Mechanix work gloves.
I'll redo this video after I've had time to ride with them some, and it is winter in Ohio right now, so it may be a few months.
They fit a bit small, so I would order one size up.
Retail is $34, but you might find them cheaper if you give them a Google.

2001 RM250 Pro Circuit 304 FMF Turbinecore 2 Sound Test
Originally published Feb 11, 2018:
2001 RM250 silencer sound comparison, Pro Circuit 304 and FMF Turbinecore 2 Spark Arrestor.
In the process of reviving a 2001 RM250 into an Enduro/Hare Scramble Bike, and wanted to compare the old Pro Circuit 304 silencer to the new FMF Turbinecore 2 Spark Arrestor silencer. Stock bike, FMF Fatty Pipe, still burning out old, unknown oils, so she smokes a good bit. Running Bel Ray H1-R premix. I also weighed both, the Pro Circuit was 2lb 4oz and the FMF Turbinecore 2 was 2lb 9oz.
Tested at 20", 45 degree angle from exhaust tip, about 3400 rpm, not the most scientific(cell phone decibel meter app).
Result: Pro Circuit 109-112db and FMF Turbinecore 2 100-104db.
Rider: 49 year old, fat, formerly fast, now slow, enduro and GNCC rider.
