Avery loves playing with and feeding her best friends, Boomer the Golden Retriever and Snickers the Chocolate Lab, at Nana and Pops house. They are so gentle with her and she takes good care of them, asking for "more" on their behalf.

Snickers and Boomer have been trained to wait until they are told to "take it" before eating snacks or anything that isn't in their bowl. You can leave plates of food on the floor and not worry in our house.

Snickers can't reach the sink like his brother so he turns on the tub for a drink. Even though he has a water bowl he prefers the cold running water from the tub.

Whenever we think of pets, we usually think of small, furry animals that we keep in our homes, protecting them from the cold, the hunger and the dangers of the outside world. Of course, their presence in our lives is partly due to our own selfishness and our own need to constantly have a friend, someone who would listen to our worries and problems and someone who would give us free cuddles when they know that we need them very much. But you see, pets are much more than that. In ancient times, dogs helped our ancestors hunt for mammoth and toothed tigers. Dog teams bare the credit naturalists, geologists and other adventure-seekers ventured into expeditions and conquest of the Arctic and Antarctic. In the world of today, many dogs live a comfortable couch life next to their beloved owners and we are grateful to them for the company. Among other things, people love to show off with their pets. They are treated as stars, as cute toy creatures that give one joy, or even ugly, but ridiculously funny pets. Pets are, and this is a fact, one of the top-5 keyword searches on the Internet. However, the Internet was first conquered by cats: a lazy cat, an angry cat, a cross-eyed cat, a <a href="https://rumble.com/v34qti-brave-cat-mess-with-dog-funny.html" target="_blank">brave cat</a> (Remember the hero cat who saved the little boy from a dog attack? Of course, we all do!) these were on the all-star list of Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Photos, videos, memes, gifs, whatever you could possibly imagine to sharer online was instantly gaining immense popularity! Entire audiences of admirers and subscribers started to gather and expanded. And how did our dogs leg behind in this pet-craze? They actually did not! Dogs confidently began to catch up with the mustachioed mousers. And not only catch up, they even started overshadowing their popularity. And why you might ask. It is because of amazing dog videos like this one on the top of the page. Watch! Go, go dogs! We have to admit that sometimes the actions of our pets don’t make much sense to us. Did they chew on the couch because they thought it was a ginormous juicy bone? Did they trash the room because it wasn’t to their liking? We guess that we’ll never get the answers. There is no denying it that canines are really good pets. They require enough attention, but never in abundance. They are great judges of character and they magically know when you need their slobbery kisses and furry hugs. Boomer figured out how to turn on the faucet and get a fresh drink. He's left pawed and always turns on the cold water, so no worries. He has a water bowl but likes the novelty of the cold, running sink water. That's why the bathroom door has to be closed at all times! We think that it is just the way Boomer is trying to show he’s part of his pack, by mimicking the other members.
