Students celebrate at Gampel Pavilion after Geno Auriemma lead the women's basketball team over Notre Dame, 79-58, for their record ninth national title. This also completes the double championship for the Huskies, as the men had previously beaten Kentucky.

Gampel Pavilion celebrates as the UConn women's basketball team defeats Notre Dame 79-58 to take home their ninth National Championship! Geno Auriemma is now 9-0 in title games, and passes Tennessee's Pat Summit for most national titles as a head coach. This also completes the double championship for UConn, as the men beat Kentucky on Monday night! GO HUSKIES!!!

As the National Champion men's basketball team returns to Storrs, students and families pack Gampel Pavilion for a pep rally in their honor. The festivities immediately precede the women's National Championship, which UConn won as well!

University of Connecticut students fill the Gampel Pavilion and pour onto the streets of Storrs, Connecticut to celebrate the Huskies' fourth NCAA Men's National Basketball Championship following a victory over the Kentucky Wildcats.
