Figure 8 is yet another work capturing the balance between industry and nature. Many of my paintings have this similar theme, Woman representing nature and buildings the industry. It is a powerful piece, similar to my fallen series, with an image of a small UFO floating above her head. My signature totem-poles surround the painting within the frame. This painting is already spoken for, however this size painting fits into the: * Large Painting Store category (detailed on my subscribe star page, linked below). The Large Painting Store paintings consist of any available works between 7 to 10 square feet. * Medium Painting Store, are any available, between 3-6 square feet, and the *Small Painting Store consists of paintings 2 square feet and under. The Making of Neva's Portrait, 24"x24" oil on canvas, Augusta, Georgia 2021. A pivotal work, completed shortly after relocating to the South. This painting sets a new bar for my progress towards realism/representationalism. Realism, is one of the most difficult disciplines in painting to achieve. Always like to sit on my porch & drink coffee listening to the birds & wind. Today I captured on video this sneaky fox trotting across the yard. Nice.

These critters are big & don’t even hear or see you. Even when I shined the light on him he just kept on digging & munching. Very interesting. Couple days later there were two that cams out together. 😊

Painting in the warm Georgia sun. This is one of my pastimes. As much as I enjoy painting in the studio, there is nothing like seeing your work in public. When I drive by I look over to see the bright yellow background surrounding my painting. It is a blessing from God to be allowed to do what ones most passionate about. Thank you all for viewing.
