Maya, the German Shepherd, was in doggy heaven backpacking in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington State this summer. She got to camp right next to this beautiful lake, and swim to her heart's desire (which was constantly!). Ash, her younger brother, doesn't love to swim as much as her, but he does love to steal her sticks once she has brought them back!

After hiking miles of old logging roads, Maya was more than happy to take a dip and play some fetch in front of this beautiful hidden gem of a waterfall in Western Washington State. Maya, a rock-star waterfall hunter, judges falls by how swimmable they are, and these were an A+ in her book.

Swimming and playing fetch are Maya's favorite activities, and this gorgeous punchbowl-style falls quickly became her favorite swim hole we've come across in a long time. The weather was great, and the sun beating down made swimming seem like an inevitably. Located in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest of Washington State, the unique turquoise water of this river was so clear you can almost see the bottom no matter how deep was. In a state absolutely loaded with waterfalls, this one truly stands out as special.

Maya the German Shepherd couldn't have been happier when she and her owner stumbled on this beautiful swimming hole while out hiking on a hot, summer day. The looming moss-covered basalt columns and picturesque waterfall made for quite a scenic setting for Maya and her brother, Ash, to swim around and play fetch in, before heading back out on the trails.

After a long, hot day hiking around in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Maya and her owner Ash were pretty excited to find this natural snow bridge still standing in the middle of Summer. After eating their fill of snow, Maya wanted to explore under the snow bridge and the waterfall behind it, while Ash chose to "chill" on top of the bridge.

The only thing Maya the German Shepherd likes better than backpacking is playing fetch and swimming while she does it! Enjoying a long weekend in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Maya takes a swim to fetch her stick while Mount Adams looms in the background. Her brother, Ash, doesn't like to swim as much, but is more than happy to "help" her carry the stick to shore.

Washington State is home to thousands of waterfalls, and this one is one of itss absolute biggest and best. The location is a still somewhat kept secret among waterfall hunters, requiring off trail navigation. It is truly a humbling place to visit. Maya the German Shepherd loves this place because the creek is so wide and shallow, allowing her to explore anywhere she wants!

Maya’s favorite things are hiking, swimming and fetch - and she got to do them all at once on this day. She loves to waterfall hunt in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington state, and this spot is one of her favorite places. Maya couldn’t ask for a more scenic setting to play in!

There is nothing that Maya and her buddy Ash love more than getting out in the forest and finding some waterfalls. They especially loved this one in the Columbia River Gorge because they could get behind it and check it out. According to them, it tasted great too!

The video that is presented to you today is actually a Gopro footage that the owner of the dog captured while he was on a hike with his best friends. So the video is about Maya the German Shepherd, who appears to be swimming into a tiny lake, probably to cool off after a physical activity or maybe to find her pot of gold... or stick as it were. There is nothing Maya loves more after a long day of hiking, than to cool down by playing fetch in a creek. <a href="https://rumble.com/v5me6j-dog-wearing-gopro-swims-and-plays-fetch.html" target="_blank">German Shepherds</a> are big dogs and require a lot of exercise. They are very robust and go walking or hiking for a really long time before getting tired. It doesn’t mean that Maya did not deserve this break, right? We don’t know if you noticed but Maya is not alone in the video, the second dog of this person is also present. Her "little" brother Ash, isn’t not as brave as Maya and instead, he stays on the little rocks and he barely leaves those rocks. He probably doesn’t feel safe because of the amount of water, and not because of the water itself because you can see go in for a meter or two. He goes towards her when she gets back to the rocks and manage to splash both of them while being playful. He isn't as big on swimming, but he's more than happy to steal her stick as soon as she gets back to shore! The landscape that can be seen during this footage comes directly from the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, situated in Washington State. The setting is truly beautiful, the water is pouring down from the waterfall and the angle of the shot makes it even more impressive (the camera is barely above the dog’s back, and because the person used a GoPro, the wide angle of that camera makes this really cool viewing effect). The best about all this is that there is a <a href="https://rumble.com/v3usrf-beautiful-unicorn-rainbow-in-the-philippines.html" target="_blank">rainbow</a> floating above the lake because of the waterfall and the strong sunshines that they had that day. It really feels like the perfect day for a hike. By the sides of that waterfall we can perceive many rocks and different green vegetations. Those are situated around the lake and we can also see a few patches of grass when the dog turns around. If you pay attention to where the dog started swimming from, you can notice that the rocks are in fact an improvised bridge for the hikers. We bet you that the dogs did not ask permission and ran into the water as soon as they saw it. The owner of those two cute dogs could not resist and decided to record the scene. We wish this clip was larger to be able to have a good look at this beautiful national park they were at. Another clip of those two dogs running with such happiness, maybe at another special spot of the park, but it would be ideal.

Maya's two favorites things are fetch and swimming, so when the two are combined it makes for a very happy pup. This fetch session took place after a very hot, difficult day of bushwhacking in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and there is no better way to cool off after something like that than to take a dip in one of it's many creeks.
