Takatsuki, a town in Osaka prefecture, suffered damage to buildings and infrastructure following a strong earthquake that struck western Japan on Monday morning, June 18. A nine-year-old girl was killed in Takatsuki after she was crushed by a falling wall outside an elementary school, Japanese newspaper the Mainichi reported.
