Plane Almost Hits Water When Landing Low At St. Maarten Airport

Statistically speaking, every row of three seats on a commercial airplane contains of at least one passenger who would really rather not be there. After seeing this video, you might think that as well! If you're a passenger on this plane, this scenario might make you sweat a little in your seat. We are left for words! Sebastian Thoma filmed this quite remarkable video from Princess Juliana Airport in St. Maarten where a plane flying from Toronto nearly made contact with the ocean upon arrival to the island. According to Sebastian, the plane came in too low during the stormy weather. Thank goodness nothing serious happened and no damage was done. The pilot made a wise decision during the time he had. The pilot held the aircraft over the airport for 45-50 minutes, before safely landing on the runway. As you can see in the video, the plane was much closer to the water in the first attempt than in the second attempt . It's a good thing the pilot had enough time to quickly bring the plane back up on the first attempt or they might have been a very scary crash. Luckily, the pilot was able to land in the second attempt and didn't have to go around for the third time. Check out this crazy footage of a plane getting a little too close to the ocean while trying to land! Princess Juliana International Airport is the main airport on the Caribbean island of St. Martin, located on the Dutch side of the island in the country of Sint Maarten. Elderly Man Plays Guitar Within A Store1m27s

Elderly Man Plays Guitar Within A Store

Move over, Rolling Stones – there’s a new senior guitarist in town! Mick and the band might be in their 70s and rocking solid, but Bob Wood here is 81 years old and still going strong on the guitar. The senior citizen from Nashville, Tennessee blew the minds of the employees at a local guitar shop and subsequently the minds of everyone who has access to the World Wide Web, when the shop, confusingly named British Audio Service uploaded a video of Bob playing an impressive version of the standard “Besame Mucho” in their salon. The video racked over 2 million views and the Internet can’t keep its mouth shut about the frail musician. They wanted to know everything about him, and Wood’s immediate family and friends were more than happy to oblige in the comments. Wood, who has nine children of his own, grew up playing music in the Shenandoah Valley, and was signed on as a regular performer at Jamboree USA in Wheeling, West Virginia, in 1970, where he performed for 10 years. He was named Entertainer of the Year by Eastern States Country Music Inc., and in 2007, he was inducted into the Southern Legends Country Music Hall of Fame. Wood cut several albums during his career, including an ice-cold piece of ’70s-era cool, Bob Wood Plays It Cool. The liner notes on the album contain a testimonial from none other than country guitar legend Carl Perkins: “If kindness, concern for fellowman, loyalty to wife and family have anything to do with the making of a man, then my friends, meet a man, Bob Wood. Besides being a friend, I regard Bob as one of the very few great stylists on guitar. Talents are essential in the music business, being a man is helpful in any field. Combined you don’t miss. Now enjoy with me, an album by just such a person, my friend, Bob Wood.” Watching these clips serves as a reminder that, at the end of the day, age is just a number and you are, in fact, as old as you feel. Just like these two amazing ladies proved with their exceptional skills, something most 20- and 30-year-olds can’t even begin to fathom. Jean Phelps Veloz is an icon of 'Hollywood-Style Lindy Hop' for the current swing dancing generation. She’s a living bridge from the Los Angeles dance scene of the 1940's to the present-day Lindy Hop revival that is currently sweeping through the United States and the rest of the world. Jean grabs her partners, and simply dances. And boy, is she setting the bar so high for all those watching her and contemplating whether to even try to give her some competition. Young men line up to have the honor of dancing with the 90-year-old dancing queen during SEA Jam 2014 dance camp, organized by Jitterbugs Swingapore and Bangkok Swing. Now that's impressive! How about this impressive footage showing 91-year-old gymnast Johanna Quaas raising herself on the parallel bars with incredible ease at the Internationales Deutsches Turnfest Berlin competition. Quaas used to be a sport teacher and still trains daily practicing gymnastics and swimming. During the 1960s in former GDR she trained gymnasts who were selected for 1964 Summer Olympics.

'Glory Hole' Spillway Overflows At Lake Berryessa 2m14s

'Glory Hole' Spillway Overflows At Lake Berryessa

The Morning Glory Spillway, called the 'Glory Hole' by locals, spilled over for the first time in 10 years this week. The overflow is a result of a month of recent rains filling the river in formerly drought-stricken California. Drone operator Evan Kilkus told Storyful that the latest rains in California are topping the lake off at over 3.5 feet above the World Famous Glory Hole Spillway at Lake Berryessa. His latest drone video shows Lake Berryessa, Putah Creek, and the Monticello Dam. What a spectacular phenomenon this is. Locals around this lake were not expecting such substantial rainfall, as it was supposed to be a La Nina year, meaning that the surface temperatures of the sea were below-average. The result tends to be reduced precipitation, or can even result in a drought. That is what caught everyone by surprise. Planet Earth still contains many mysteries that sometimes science can't understand, but isn't it just awesome? Take some time out of the day to observe the beauty that this world has to offer. This mysterious hole in Lake Berryessa in California is not a supernatural whirlpool, a demon’s mouth, or a portal into hell or a fourth dimension. Also, the creepy thing probably won’t suck you into it either because it is just a really big drain called a spillway . Once you set your eyes on the spiraling water, it is hard to take them off of it. Footage shows the World Famous Glory Hole Spillway at Lake Berryessa overflowing for the first time ever. Recent rainfalls not only brought the lake up, but they also brought lots of rocks and mud down onto the highway. After a drought-ridden 10-year period, water finally spilled on its own into Lake Berryessa’s Glory Hole, bringing an end to the longest gap between spills in the lake’s history. Mere inches away from the water at Lake Berryessa’s Monticello Dam reaching the Glory Hole spillway for the first time since 2006, locals flocked to the site this past week for the opportunity to witness the momentous occasion. This phenomenon is truly something you don’t want to miss! Check out this crazy 'Glory Hole' or if your interested in buying a Drone to do your own filming, you can buy one of the top selling drones on Amazon !

Dog Howls Along To A Michael Jackson Hit

If magic ever existed then it must have been written in notes. Of course, there are other ways to create art. You can paint it with colours, write it in words, weave it in knots and even carve it in objects but it would still pale in comparison to music. Expressing your innermost thoughts is best done in music notes because chords are really good at portraying emotions. There is a certain mystery about the tones that we can not see but we can feel deep in our core. They can represent everything and nothing at the same time and the fact that they are formless makes it easy for us to shape them into a feeling or a person. Music is truly brilliant. Everything gets better when music gets involved. It is the best way to show love because it invokes emotions so strong, they captivate the soul and provide inspiration for life. Truck Falls Through Frozen Ice On Lake Winnipeg1m25s

Truck Falls Through Frozen Ice On Lake Winnipeg

Driving over a frozen lake can be an interesting experience, though it’s only possible in some northern parts. Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada, is used as a road to travel from one point to another. However, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police usually warns people to stay off the ice in this area, as a rapid current running under the frozen water makes it unsafe for crossing. In mid-March it’s suggested that only ice farther north would be suitable to drive on. Unfortunately, Ms Ko'ona Cochrane and her husband decided not to listen to the officials, so they took their tour over the frozen lake . As the clip starts, Ms Cochrane can be heard joking about how they are going to cross the lake. This woman admires the winter beauty this place has to offer. She ominously says, “Oh it looks frightening”. Before even being able to ask her companion why is he slowing down, the ice gives way and the truck plunges into the waters below. The camera films something unclear, but Ms. Cochrane can be heard screaming, while her husband yells, “bail, bail.” As Global News reported, the two luckily were uninjured and refused emergency medical services. News media reported the truck was not salvageable and is currently submerged under the ice. Next time you try to fool around and take your life under risk, have in mind that there might be a good reason why authorities tell you not to do something. It’s for your own good.

Birds Narrowly Avoid Collision With Landing Plane17s

Birds Narrowly Avoid Collision With Landing Plane

Having a window seat in the airplane has a lot of upsides, and one of them is the magnificent view (of course). But sometimes, beside the majestic clouds and landscapes below, there are also birds in the way of the plane. This passenger was recording his landing into Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, when he saw a rush of birds fly past the plane. Luckily, the birds avoided collision with the landing plane and weren't injured, and also the passengers avoided seeing something pretty unpleasant and sad. This could have been a very dangerous situation for the passengers of that plane as well because believe it or not, birds have been the cause of plane incidents before! Next time, the birds should know not to fly so close to planes! Animals are really precious creatures and it would be a shame if they got hit by this plane. Animals like birds are valuable to the planet's ecosystem and need to be treated with the utmost respect. It would be sad to see the gone because of our negligence. Have you ever seen something like this before? What would your reaction be if you saw those birds? Let us know down in the comments section! Great White Shark Attacks Kayaker In Monterey Bay, California4m28s

Great White Shark Attacks Kayaker In Monterey Bay, California

A kayaker carelessly cruising the waters in Monterey Bay, California got the scare of a lifetime, when he had the sour pleasure to watch another kayaker get repeatedly attacked by a great white shark. Gene Mace captured the moment a kayaker was attacked by a great white shark in Monterey Bay, California, on March 18. Gene Mace and his wife were out in Monterey Bay when he noticed a man had been flipped from his kayak. Mace took out his camera and saw that the man was under attack by a great white shark . Mace continues to capture the attack as he tells his wife to call for help. His wife can be heard speaking to authorities over the phone. The couple watches helplessly as the kayaker tries to swim away from the great white. After a few minutes, a boat approaches the kayaker and a man, Lt. Cmdr. Kyle Franklin, can be seen trying to help the kayaker up to the small sailboat. “Suddenly, I heard a loud Bang as my kayak and I flew into the air. I landed on my boat, look back to it and to my horror saw a large great white shark no more than three feet away had my kayak in its mouth. I could clearly see its 2-inch teeth and its black eye that looked lifeless,” said Mace. Franklin was out sailing with his wife and daughter when he saw the kayaker frantically swimming away from the shark. The video cuts off when Franklin approaches the kayaker, but a 29-foot Coast Guard Response Boat, stationed in Monterey Harbor, later arrived to rescue the kayaker, who was too tired and cold to get on the vessel on his own. What an insane moment. Modern white sharks lead a predominantly isolated way of life. Adult individuals can be found not only in the waters of the open ocean but also near the shoreline, where kayakers are most likely to be found, in fact. As a rule, the shark tries to keep as close as possible to the surface and prefers warm or moderately warm ocean waters. This shark has large, powerful jaws equipped with one to two rows of very large and wide, triangular teeth. All teeth have jagged edges. These muscular jaws enable the water predator to bite off not only cartilaginous tissues without too much effort but also large enough bones of their prey. The kayaker was just so darn lucky! All of you who live near or visit shark-infested waters must remember that hungry white sharks are not particularly picky in choosing food and this is why videos like the one you had the chance to view at the top of the page are eery but not completely showing unexpected events. What did you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. Man Gets Scared By Virtual Shark In Washington Museum40s

Man Gets Scared By Virtual Shark In Washington Museum

What is in a prank? Would you like to scare someone pantless, make them squeal like a little girl and then kiss your friendship goodbye? Or you just want to embarrass them until they turn bright red and then kiss your friendship goodbye? You got to be careful with those things, because one wrongly calculated move can cost you plenty. If you do, however, plan the details of your prank properly and whip out your camera phone at the right moment, you might actually catch something hilarious happening and get some viral fame while you are at it. Just like these couple of friends did, much to the dismay of one of them. Washington resident Casey Peck captured her friend Gregory Heinzman on video falling on the floor after being scared by a virtual shark that appeared on screen at the International Spy Museum on October 22. The exhibit is located in an area of the museum dedicated to James bond villain Karl Stromberg. Beneath it, a sign warns visitors: “What would Stromberg’s world be like? Find out as you experience the residents in our virtual shark tank but be careful — you never know when one might attack!” Casey said on her Facebook profile that she went into the exhibit room herself first and noticed the huge monitors with the animation video of the shark. “I noticed the sign above the screen and it says ‘touch at your own risk’ (that’s where I got the idea from for the title of the video),” she said. “I realized that the video meant to scare people so I brought Gregory to the room. I decide to tape Gregory’s reaction to the video. It was a perfect reaction that caused a viral.” Peck knew that Heinzman is easily frightened and she took the opportunity to capture the moment. Watch as the shark scares the pants off this dude at the museum, it is a total troll. If you haven't already seen it, there's a shark exhibit in the museum, which is terrifying those who are easily scared. The exhibit shows a screen that looks like an aquarium, with a sign reading "touch at your own risk" above it. When you touch the glass, it triggers a fake shark that then comes charging at the glass, cracking it when it makes contact! People have been falling for this trick for years, but this dude's reaction may be the best one yet. Easily frightened Gregory taps on the glass and gets instantly scared by this fake 'shark attack'. This fake museum exhibition is very real and it is no surprise that Gregory falls head over hills on the floor when he touches the glass, not knowing that it will trigger a fake shark that comes banging its head on the glass, fake cracking a hole on it. The man immediately screams and falls on the floor, with his hand holding his chests, startled with disbelief. This is a very realistic prank , but it can be deadly for those who suffer heart problems, so it shouldn’t be displayed for everyone, or there should at least be some kind of warning! Dachshund Puppy Demands Attention By Throwing The Cutest Tantrum45s

Dachshund Puppy Demands Attention By Throwing The Cutest Tantrum

People say that, over time, dogs start to resemble their owners, both in looks and in behavior. Whether it’s the animals that start imitating their humans or the humans start to identify themselves with their dogs, it doesn’t matter, there are hundreds of photos and videos online where dogs look and behave almost exactly like the dog owners! Dogs are absolutely amazing. They remind us of smaller and hairier versions of humans that love nothing more than to have fun. It seems like we can never get enough of the puppy awesomeness. They keep us at our toes with their antics and melt us into puddles of mush when they turn on their charm. They are like our furry offspring that likes to wake us up early in the morning to go potty but we don’t mind because they are adorable. Sometimes it’s tough being a cute puppy. You have your wants and needs, but you are tiny and don't know your human's language. Still, it’s important to let your owner know how you feel. Watch as this adorable three-month-old Dachshund named Napoleon as he decides to throw a tantrum , because he was not happy that he's allowed on his owner’s lap. So what if she is driving? Sitting next to her in the car, he makes several attempts to jump in her lap and fails to do so. Looking at her with those adorable puppy eyes and crying his heart out, he is unable to reach her heart and win her approval. His owner is resilient to his pleas, even shuns his cries, saying "You are so bad." It seems that giving someone the wide puppy eyes when you have a demand doesn’t always work. Napoleon may not have gotten his heart’s desire, but that made him even more endearing! How can you say no to that face? How can you not melt when those eyes look at you so longingly? And that mouth, barely moving but producing such a sad, sad sound… Give him to us! Dachshunds are known as loyal and lively dogs, but they crave attention and are among the most popular breeds in the world. These adorable pups are described as clever, lively, and courageous to the point of rashness. They have been bred for perseverance, which is just a nice way of saying that they can be very stubborn. Napoleon seems to be the perfect specimen of his breed, but we can't be angry with him. How can we be with a face like that? Pets are love and pets are life. Whether you like them or not, you can’t deny the fact that they put some rainbow sprinkles on your day, figuratively speaking. All pets are wonderful, but if there is one species that is able to turn up the party, then it’s definitely our canine friends. If you love dogs as much as we do, share this video on social media or tell us a story of your beloved four-legged pal in the comment section below. And remember: dogs rule!

A Great White Shark Leaps From The Water And Steals The Fishermen's Catch2m27s

A Great White Shark Leaps From The Water And Steals The Fishermen's Catch

This is an impressive footage of a great white shark chasing bait in front of a diving cage off the coast of Gansbaai in South Africa. The video, captured on October 2, shows the huge shark breaching after brushing the cage. The great white shark has no known natural predators other than, on very rare occasion, the killer whale. The great white shark is arguably the world's largest known extant macro-predatory fish and is one of the primary predators of marine mammals. Watch this incredible moment when the terrifying great white shark bursts through the water to snatch a bait right next to a dive cage. The activity of being lowered into the sea in a protective steel cage in order to view sharks or other dangerous sea creatures at close range is called shark tourism, which is a form of eco-tourism rooted in having communities appreciate that local shark species are more valuable alive than dead. Instead of opting for a one-time economic benefit of harvesting sharks for their body parts, communities are made to assist interested tourists who may want to see live sharks. This amazing video shows the shark up-close as it tears the bait set up by spotters. This is about as up-close and personal anyone without a death wish should get to a great white shark. A group of charter boat fishermen aboard the Stunmai II in Cape Cod Bay, Massachusetts, hooked a bit more than they bargained for on August 12, as a great white shark leap from the water, snapping up their catch. Fishermen on two of the Stunmai’s charters dropped lines in the water hoping to reel in striped bass , but were surprised to see two great white sharks get to their catches before they could. Shark sightings are not unusual in this region, according to a post the uploader made to Facebook where they claimed that sightings often happen at least once per day, if not more. Modern white sharks lead a predominantly isolated way of life. Adult individuals can be found not only in the waters of the open ocean but also near the shoreline. As a rule, the shark tries to keep as close as possible to the surface and prefers warm or moderately warm ocean waters. Extraction is destroyed by a white shark with very large and wide, triangular teeth. All teeth have jagged edges. Very powerful jaws allow the water predator to bite off not only cartilaginous tissues without too much effort but also large enough bones of their prey. Hungry white sharks are not particularly picky in choosing food and this is why videos like the one you had the chance to view at the top of the page are eery but not completely showing unexpected events. Tractor Cuts Off Utah Snowplow, Sending It Into Utah Canyon1m09s

Tractor Cuts Off Utah Snowplow, Sending It Into Utah Canyon

The Utah Department of Transportation warned drivers to give plows room on the road after one slid off a road when a truck passed it on the right on Thursday, January 12. This video shows a tractor-trailer truck passing the plow on the right, causing the plow to slide across the road and over the edge of the road into the canyon. The plow driver, identified as Terry Jacobson, is lucky to have survived the crash and is hospitalized with serious injuries. He has been driving snow plows for more than 23 years. His seat belt has saved his life. Utah Highway Patrol did not identify the driver of the tractor-trailer but said they cited him for improper passing and failure to maintain lane. The driver of the semi-truck "got too close" as he was attempting to pass on the snow plow’s right. As the semi-truck passed, the driver became blinded by the wash coming off the snow plow, and he lost visibility. The snow plow then rolled 300 feet down the hill to the ground below. Drivers who witnessed the accident pulled off to the side and went down to help Jacobson. The driver of the semi trailer also pulled over and was cooperating with police when they arrived.

Drone Captures Aerial Footage Of Lake Berryessa Glory Hole3m28s

Drone Captures Aerial Footage Of Lake Berryessa Glory Hole

Lake Berryessa is the largest lake in Napa County, California. This reservoir in the Vaca Mountains is formed by the Monticello Dam, which provides water and hydroelectricity to the North Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area. For the most part, the lake is occupied by swimmers, fishermen, water skiers, kayakers and other enjoyers of aquatic sports. Californians love the place! But after a long period of drought, a concrete tower near the dam that no one really knows what it is for becomes a drain for the excess water that fills the lake. Locals call it the ‘glory hole’. The design for Lake Berryessa’s spillway, also called morning glory or a bell-mouth, is essentially a giant concrete funnel that on regular days sticks out of the surface of the water, 75 feet in diameter at the top and 28 feet at the base. When the lake’s surface level exceeds over 440 feet above sea level, which is close to overflowing the dam, the excess water drains down the glory hole, creating a mesmerizing whirlpool. It attracts visitors like the great attraction it is. Still, in all its six decades of existence, the lake only topped 26 times. The operations manager for Solano Irrigation District confirms our findings that it is quite dramatic to watch when the lake overflows. When the glory hole was last in use in February 2017, some 15 drones were reported hovering over the glory hole, capturing the mesmerizing moment. This mysterious hole is not a supernatural whirlpool, a demon’s mouth, or a portal into hell or a fourth dimension. The creepy thing probably won’t suck you into it either. It is just a really big drain called a spillway. And once you see it full of spiraling water, it is hard to take your eyes off it. Spillways come in many shapes and sizes. The one at Berryessa is of the “bellmouth” persuasion, which is also called a morning glory, plug hole or a glory hole, as the locals refer to it. The structure works a lot like the hole in the side of your sink or bathtub, which keeps water from spilling out onto the floor if someone leaves the faucet running. Only with a reservoir, it works when the rain won’t stop, as has been the case in this area, which has seen four wet storms known as atmospheric rivers so far this year. Powerful as it looks, the spillway probably wouldn’t pull you down to the netherworld if for some reason you found yourself in the lake. Although it could still be dangerous (and there are safety barriers and buoys to keep people away), you could probably swim away from the current. It’s a lot of water, but not a lot of velocity. It can flow a lot faster but at the moment the chances of ending up in another dimension are very low - the pull of the current around the drain is so slow that the average swimmer could swim away from it. It's a drone lover's dream.

Frozen Snow Falls From Truck's Roof Onto Car's Windshield1m10s

Frozen Snow Falls From Truck's Roof Onto Car's Windshield

Snow and ice falling from trucks is a consistent issue for drivers and trucking companies in Canada. With temperatures dropping below freezing, it is a very good idea to clean up the roof of your vehicle after a heavy snowfall, to reduce the risk of it freezing solid and then falling onto oncoming cars, like it happened in this video. A couple driving near Moncton, New Brunswick, on November 30 approached a truck merging onto the highway just as a big chunk of frozen snow flew off of the truck, smashing the windshield on the passenger side. Authorities warned of the dangers of not cleaning the rooftops of vehicles, because the snow that freezes might form into ice and fall onto incoming traffic and cause incidents, just like it is the case in this video. As the ice falls off truck's rooftop, it lands directly onto the windshield of the incoming vehicle, causing it to smash ! Kevin McGraw said his wife, sitting in the passenger seat, was covered in shards of glass. He told Storyful that he pulled over to the right-hand side of the road and watched in the rear view mirror as the transport truck seemed to be pulling in behind him, but, he said, the truck then went around him and drove off down the highway. The whole thing is like a scene from the Final Destination Franchise! Everything happens in a split second, you have to prevent yourself from blinking in case you miss the massive chunk of ice chipping off the block on the roof and smashing in the right-hand side of the windshield !

Airbus A380 Makes Difficult Crosswind Landing In Manchester1m53s

Airbus A380 Makes Difficult Crosswind Landing In Manchester

A Fly Emirates Airbus A380 was landing in Manchester from Dubai, when it encountered some pretty fierce crosswinds. At the time, weather reports have stated that winds all over the north of England have reached 50 miles per hour, which of course made landing tricky. The plane can be seen rocking side to side above the tarmac, while the winds were lifting the plane’s nose and disabling the landing gear to touch down. Hundreds of passengers aboard that plane had to endure the tricky landing during the Christmas season, when Storm Frank hit England, bringing gale-force winds. The plane was plagued by severe cross winds as it attempted to touch down at Manchester Airport. But the impact of the disastrous weather sent it flying - and this shock footage shows the moment the plane flew sideways in a desperate attempt to land. While it may look terrifying, it is actually a technique called a crab landing used by pilots in times of tumultuous weather These occurrences are quite common all over the world; remember, planes glide on air currents and since they are not always a smooth mass, turbulence makes the plane sway, even so close to the ground. That is why pilot receive detailed training about landing procedures and use their skills day in and day out. High winds may be inconvenient, but they are not dangerous, even when they come across the runway. Every pilot trains in landing at crosswind conditions, while also practicing to the airplane’s limits in a simulator. On the other hand, every new aircraft, certified to carry passengers, comes with a published crosswind limit, which is determined by a test pilot during the certification process. And you wonder why people clap when the plane touches ground safely! There is a common consent amongst flyers that both pilots and passengers attach great importance to taking off and landing, even though of the two, more attention is given to touching the ground. Even if the phases of take-off and flight along the route are carefully planned and executed by the pilot, a rough landing can cast a shadow on his or her abilities and competencies as a professional. If anything goes wrong, the person will forever be branded as a bad pilot. Luckily, the reversed rule applies: the ability to turn rough landing condition into victory can turn an anonymous pilot into a real legend. When the weather conditions are bad, flights can be canceled or diverted. However, those planes that do fly are required to circle for a further bumpy hour as air traffic control tries to find space for them and informs about the conditions. Plane bouncing can often cause passengers to get ill and sick. Rough landing can be caused by weather conditions, technical problems, excess weight of the aircraft, or errors in piloting. The term "rough landing" usually means that the pilot has managed to maintain full or partial control of the vessel, in contrast to an uncontrolled descent (accident), which usually leads to the destruction of the vessel. Rough landings vary in the severity of the consequences: from slight discomfort to the passengers of the vessel, leading to serious damage to vessels and passenger and crew casualties. If the aircraft has experienced a rough landing, then, even in the absence of visible damage, it carries out a list of compulsory works determined by technical documentation, such as, for example, flaw detection of racks and a complete check of the chassis systems with control testing of performance (the airplane at the same time is hung out on the lifts) and the so-called "leveling the aircraft" along the reference points, that is, checking the geometry of the fuselage for deformation. There is a tradition that after a rough landing, the pilot gets a full round of applause and people start seeing life in a new light. And why wouldn't they? People whose profession requires them to fly long flights and often are especially under risk of an accident happening

Irish Guys Impersonating Conor McGregor Get Interrupted By Conor McGregor40s

Irish Guys Impersonating Conor McGregor Get Interrupted By Conor McGregor

It seems that this UFC star doesn’t just exchange fists with faces. While taking a stroll through Dublin, the 27-year-old fighter managed to “break up” a fight between two blokes who were trying to impersonate him. The two guys were staging a mock fight and impersonating Conor McGregor on the street and got startled when their Christmas party shenanigans were interrupted by none other than McGregor himself. Mark and Patrick, employees at Human Centred Movement, a fledgling Dublin startup that teaches people how to achieve pain-free mobility through movement, were shouting an often-quoted McGregor phrase, “You’ll do nothing,” as they pretended to fight on the evening on December 23. Dublin native McGregor then rolled up in his black Cadillac Escalade with a friend and stopped near where the two friends were mock-fighting. Hearing his famous shout, he called them from the inside of the car to the surprise and delight of Mark and Patrick, who fist-bumped with the UFC icon. Mark, seeing McGregor as a shining example of what their business promotes, said they “were only chuffed to get to meet one of their idols.” Viewers of the clip are still convinced that the entire meet was just an elaborate PR set up, but Dublin locals claim that the location is on a route that leads to McGregor’s home, so he often passes this street, which is also where all the nightclubs in Dublin are. Are you familiar with the story of Conor McGregor ? Born in a working class family whose father was a cab driver, Conor was actually bullied a lot at school. The reason? He was way shorter than the other kids. MMA was not the first sport he got into. In fact, Conor got into football, or soccer to the rest of us, when he was very young. But it was there that he realised that he got more into fights than scoring goals. That is when, at age 12, he got into his very first love, boxing, to relieve the stress. He would work as a plumber during the day and train very hard at night. His father disapproved of the sport, which got Conor into a serious fight with his dad, eventually telling him “You will be sorry when I become a millionaire at 25.” He spent a long time broke and alone, until he met the person who will be there to love and support him in his dream. Dee Devlin would cook, clean and pack his gym bag and do everything she possibly could, just so that Conor could focus all his energy on his fighting. Conor would later say about his girlfriend: “Despite the lack of money, she tried to get me to eat right, drove to the gym and would listen to my dreams.” The couple could barely survive for 5 years on the 1300 pounds Conor made a year. But even those harsh training session at a gold gym in the dead of winter didn’t stop him. With his consistent hard work, Conor McGregor defeated some of the greatest fighters of today. His actions and approach to fight promotion has gained him comparisons to Muhammad Ali.

Little Girl Has A Stand Off With Her Daddy37s

Little Girl Has A Stand Off With Her Daddy

Children imitate the behavior or mannerisms of their parents' thanks to a basic instinct that assists personality development. This instinct and this imitation is the reason why we humans live in and form units that share the same behavior, traits etc. It is also how our communication skill is getting developed from a very early age. This is why it is so important that the parent serves as an example that the child will follow i.e. imitate. In the first two years of the child's life, the child copies the behavior of adults in a very not-conscious manner, and to the extent that its self-confidence allows. Observations show that babies are more likely to imitate those behaviors that they see more often, that they are more readily exposed to than behaviors, not typical for the environment that surrounds them. Look who's talking now, or at least will be very soon and in a pretty vocal manner. As you can see in the video at the top of the page, toddlers can be very vocal and always ready to argue when things don't go their own way, usually causing a funny "scene" for everyone present. This behavior is adorable and totally fine and normal. I mean, how can someone not understand you when you are pointing that out loud and clear? If you watch this video, you will be convinced that a talent can be spotted from a young age. As it looks, this young lady might have a bright future in the field of law with those skills of argument! She just won’t let daddy win this one, because all the facts are on her side! How adorable! Daddy Gareth and his little girl Lola love to play fight with one another. Apparently, Lola also loves to climb on things, which serves to make her look even more fierce in this video. Few inches more and they will be on the same level. It’s not the size that is important, it’s the attitude! Adorable Lola refuses to remove herself from the table and eventually her father has to lift her from it as she continues to put up a fight . This little girl is not going to back down. It’s just amazing how good they аrе at mimicking whаt thеу ѕее. She probably is mimicking her mom or even the daddy she is now quarreling with! Do not understand this as an open revolt to authority (okay, maybe just a little bit) but as a play which is so integral to a child's proper psychological, emotional and social development. Even though it looks like Lola is winning the argument while daddy Gareth is losing, stopping this tot mid-quarrel would rob her of the opportunity to play and speak her mind and would rob us too of such a gem of a funny video! So just sit back and watch this adorable family moment caught on video. Too cute! Have you ever seen anything like this before? What did you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy!

Pilot Shows Amazing Maneuvering Skills As He Lands Plane Avoiding Accident1m31s

Pilot Shows Amazing Maneuvering Skills As He Lands Plane Avoiding Accident

High winds test pilots' skills and sometimes obliges pilots to land in extreme weather conditions that often sways planes and frightens passengers. Some landing and take-off highlights in awkward wind conditions often note frequent flexing of the planes' wings in response to the turbulence. Just twenty meters before landing this Boeing plane came close to a rough landing. The B777 stumbled under the windy weather conditions at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol resulting in a rocky approach to the runway. The plane made a second attempt at the runway ten minutes later and landed safely on the ground. Footage of planes landing in gale force winds, swaying left and right and appearing to approach the runway sideways, are unlikely to fortify the courage of nervous fliers. But what are the risks posed by high winds? The wonky touchdowns shouldn’t alarm anyone. In fact, pilots are trained to perform exactly this type of landing in the event of strong crosswinds. Pilots want to land into the wind and in the center of the runway. If there's a tricky cross wind, they will approach with the nose of the plane facing the wind. Just as the pilot performs the “flare”, he or she will bring the plane’s nose in line with the runway. It this maneuver is performed too early, the plane won’t land in the center of the runway, or on the runway at all. If the pilot isn’t happy with their first effort, he or she will abort the landing, and try again. In what is known as a “baulked landing”, the plane might even touch the runway. Pilots always have a plan B in mind if the intended approach is not safe or if the airport closes because of high winds. Updates on wind and weather conditions are communicated to crew throughout a journey to help with decision making. Credit: Schipholhotspot via Storyful

Mama Python Protects Her Eggs From Keeper1m09s

Mama Python Protects Her Eggs From Keeper

In an Instagram video posted on September 15, a snake keeper proved why stealing snake eggs requires expertise. Jay Brewer is the founder of Prehistoric Pets , a store specializing in snakes, lizards and other reptiles. For healthy breeding purposes, Brewer moves the snake eggs away from the mother and into a separate crate, but when he tried to do this with one of the larger snakes, she tried to attack him. The reason why the experts at Prehistoric Pets remove the clutches of eggs from under the mothers is because of breeding purposes. In the wild, perfect eggs don’t always mean that they will all hatch, because they need constant temperatures and humidity in order to hatch perfect, healthy baby snakes. Those conditions are maintained artificially in incubators, but those eggs need to get there somewhere and these reptilian mothers have no idea they are in captivity; they still think they are in the wild, where their eggs would be stolen for food, instead of preserving their species. This particular female has a long strike range, meaning that she won’t hesitate to stretch nice and long to protect her babies. So Jay uses a hook to gently nudge her head away and reach that clutch of eggs from underneath her. It is her first clutch and she is already an excellent mother. Check out the full video of Jay relocating the eggs and the mom defending them . Educational and entertaining!

Flybe Plane Has A Rough Landing At Schiphol Airport3m48s

Flybe Plane Has A Rough Landing At Schiphol Airport

Dramatic video shows how the landing gear of a Flybe aircraft collapses during touchdown at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, Netherlands, on February 23. Flight BE1284 was arriving from Edinburgh when it came down heavy on the runway during strong winds. This video captures the plane touching down hard on its right side, resulting in a collapse of the gear as it landed. Photographer Dennis Janssen was at the airport to shoot footage of planes that land during the adverse weather when he captured this incident by chance. Incidences like this can be really scary, especially for the people inside the plane. Good thing everyone on the plane was alright as this could have been pretty disastrous. It was a pure luck that the rough landing was caught on camera as this footage would be appropriate for future investigation! Flying can be scary but it is still a lot safer than driving! Being a pilot must be a pretty fun job despite the stress such as this one. A lot of people dream of becoming pilots but their dreams rarely come true because their lives go in a totally opposite direction. They could always purchase some awesome r-c planes from Amazon to satisfy their aviation urges! Engine shutdowns are fairly routine, and all twin-engined planes are designed to keep flying safely even if one engine fails at the worst possible time, on take off. Elsewhere, more than 100 flights have been cancelled or diverted due to high winds. The main international airport in the Netherlands, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is the third busiest airport in Europe in terms of passenger volume. That says a lot, since the airport’s location means the runways get beaten up by heavy crosswinds year round. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is known to be battered by difficult crosswinds, making airplane pilots make a second, even a third attempt at landing their aircrafts. The strong gushes of wind make landing sequences difficult, causing the airplanes to sway above the tarmac, some even resolving to some extreme measures to bring those passengers safely on land. An Airbus A350 was unable to land at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, due to heavy crosswinds and stormy conditions. The flight had to swiftly make a “go around” on approach to landing . Clearly the plane was being battered by the wind and the decision was made to try again. Thankfully, the plane landed safely on its second attempt. An Emirates Airbus A380 made a dramatic landing at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on November 20, again amid strong crosswinds. The airplane’s landing came on a day other flights had to make a “touch and go-around” at the airport. The A380 can be seen clearly buffeted by the winds as it approached the ground, and even after touching down, its wings waved up and down. Another dramatic video shows the landing gear of a Flybe aircraft collapse during touchdown at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, Netherlands, on February 23. Flight BE1284 was arriving from Edinburgh when it came down heavy on the runway during strong winds. This video captures the plane touching down hard on its right side, resulting in the landing gear collapsing as it landed.

Man And Bear Both Scare Each Other When They Have A Surprise Encounter

Animals really do make great videos. They can be so funny and silly that they cannot help but brighten up your day. In this hilarious video, check out as two unlikely beings encounter for the first time! We are not sure who got the bigger fright here, the man or the bear. A gentlemen near Lake Tahoe had a surprising close encounter with a young bear cub searching for food. The bear was seen crossing the driveway of a home in the area and reached the corner of the house at the same time as the man. Both got a fright at the sight of each other and ran away. Some animals, like bears, can be really scary so it is no wonder this man decided to bolt in the other direction when seeing it. What is really funny though is the fact the the bear ran away as well when seeing the man! We always picture bears as these ferocious animals that like to eat people as an afternoon snack, but it seems that this is not the case! That bear is a real scaredy cat, or should we say a scaredy bear! Either way, this is one hilarious video that you are not going to want to miss! Please share this funny and amazing video with all your family and friends as they will surely get a good laugh out of it!

Cruise Ship Fails To Dock In Quite Interesting Fashion1m41s

Cruise Ship Fails To Dock In Quite Interesting Fashion

Cruise ships are truly a sight to behold. They are the sea giants that slice the seven oceans carrying passengers on the trips of their lives. There are, of course, other ships equal or even bigger than the cruise ships, but the only difference between them is that they don’t quite scream party or fun in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Being big can definitely be a problem for these ships. They are a lot harder to maneuver around, and the captain has to think about up to 9000 people on board, unlike the cargo ships which can have a crew of less than a 100 people. There have been a lot of examples of the importance of being cautious when piloting this kind of a ship, like the sinking of the Titanic , one of the pioneers of the cruise ships. Here we have a bit of a funnier take on throwing caution to the wind. This cruise ship failed to dock in spectacular fashion when it collided with a platform in the port of Nassau, Bahamas. As the captain maneuvered the ship into dock, he hit the stern off the jetty and left a considerable dent. The ship failed to slow to a stop and crashed gently into the dock. The footage of the incident shared by Scott Lewitt via Storyful shows witnesses looking on in disbelief as the ship hits the pier along with the sounds of the structure crunching under the weight of the heavy ship. Speaking to Storyful, uploader Scott Lewitt described the scene: “While enjoying my morning coffee I saw the Disney Dream coming into port. With it being such a Majestic ship, I decided to stay and watch her dock. The rest kind of speaks for itself!” While maneuvering alongside, for reasons unknown, the ship deviated from its course and grazed the side of the pier. Obviously there is not any risk for the guests or the crew on board and there is also no impact for the environment. We can’t see any damage inflicted on the ship or it may be just some minor. Since we are talking about ships, there is this interesting video where crewmen use ship’s horns to sound “Star Wars” theme song when the ship enters a German harbor. Taking the “Star Wars” theme song, the crafty crewmen used the ship’s horns to fire off the familiar tune when they came in! After all, this ship looks like it could be the Death Star of seas! The low resounding honks keep up with the tempo, making it instantly recognizable amongst onlookers who are all racing to whip out their cameras at the regal arrival! This is just too cool! Too bad the crewmen didn’t dress up in their finest Star Wars attire! What dо you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy!
