I have been getting asked about property taxes while walking. The statement that you have gotten from the Cleveland County Assessor is not a tax bill that is the change of assessment for the property value of your home. The property tax bill will be finalized after September and will go out in December and that depends on the millage rates of the school districts the metrotex the county the library the health department and then also any sinking funds by the city.

The Boy Scout Troop in Cleveland County has an American Flag disposal box at the Courthouse. I was out campaigning and came across a gentleman that was changing out his flag so I asked him if he wanted me to take his old flag and put it in the Boy Scout flag disposal box at the Cleveland County courthouse. He said yes that would be great, and that is a great service by the Boy Scouts for the citizens of Cleveland County.
