Attack at the Gare du Nord: the profile of the assailant
Suddenly, an assailant man runs into a traveler. This attack began at 6:42 a.m. at the entrance to the Gare du Nord. The perpetrator is hooded with a surgical mask over his face and dressed entirely in black. He first attacks a randomly selected victim.
He has in his hand a hallmark that he made himself. Witnesses have tried to intervene, but are also being attacked. The suspect then rushes into the station and the victim gets up, a miracle say investigators.
A few seconds later, the cameras spot the assailant again. He blindly attacks everyone he meets. The assailant tried to attack a first policeman who faces him. At 6:44 a.m., two other officers shot him three times and ended his criminal journey.
The Minister of the Interior congratulated the police for their responsiveness, without which the assailant could have caused many other victims. The profile of the suspect is very unclear, because he is known under twenty identities.
He may be 22 years old, Libyan and already known for theft and violence. In any case, he is under an obligation to leave the territory. For the time being, the terrorist trail seems to be ruled out. The motive for these assassination attempts remains a mystery.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Off-duty Chicago cop warns alleged thief she’ll ‘kill’ him before fatal shooting: footage
An off-duty Chicago cop warned a potential robber she’d kill him, and then followed through on that pledge when she fired three shots at the man, footage from the wild scene showed.
The police officer issued the threat on Jan. 17 after the suspect appeared to grab her gun minutes after she broke up a fight among four people — including the alleged thief, officials said.
As the two wrestled and fell to the ground, the handgun went off and hit 39-year-old Leevon Smith, according to Chicago’s Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA).
“I’ll kill you,” she told Smith before the shots rang out.
After the first two shots go off, Smith says, “you got me, you got me,” according to audio and video of the incident released by the accountability office.
The off-duty officer then says, “I told your dumb— I’d kill you,” as she fires the third and final shot.
“Damn, baby, I’m sorry,” a wounded Smith replies, adding moments later. “I don’t want to die.”
Afterward, the officer yells out for someone to call the police as she continues to admonish Smith for attempting to take her gun, the footage showed.
“You thought I was playing, I told you I’d shoot you,” the officer says.
“I told your dumb— I’d shoot you,” the unnamed cop also additionally says. “You tried to steal my f—ing gun.”
The footage and audio are not synced, COPA said.
Smith was taken to the hospital, where he died two days later, CBS Chicago reported. Police said in January the officer was placed on routine 30-day administrative duty.
A tactical report indicates Chicago police determined the suspect tried to grab the off-duty officer’s weapon and was an imminent threat to her. The officer suffered a cut above her right eye, according to the police arrest report.
The officer was one of several people to call 911 after the shooting, telling the dispatch she was robbed and that she shot a man.
“Oh my God, he just tried to rob me,” the shaken officer said on the call.
She said she tried to call her bosses, but no one was answering her calls.
“He just tried to steal my off-duty gun,” she told first responders on the scene.
The officer joined the force last June, the Chicago Sun Times reported.
She has not been charged in the shooting, though Smith’s family is suing the city and officer for $10 million over the fatal encounter, the newspaper reported.
Smith was reportedly charged by prosecutors with attempted robbery and aggravated battery, according to the arrest report before his death.

Sport shooter reacts to armed robbery and succeeds | RVFK self-protection
CATEGORY: Robbery | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 3 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
» A security camera recorded the moment when a sports shooter reacted to a robbery and shot a criminal who was robbing a bakery in Brazil. The way the defender did was tactical and controlled.
This video teaches us several valuable lessons:
- It highlights the presence of close-range threats that some people may underestimate or deny.
- The defender demonstrates some freedom of movement even when initially facing a gun pushed against his back. This is crucial information for the initial phase of gun defense.
- The video emphasizes the significance of emotional control. Many self-defense classes overly focus on aggression, which can lead to mistakes. Functional aggression, rather than hysterical aggression, is key.
- The importance of being tactical, patient, and waiting for the right opportunity is highlighted as a formula for success. This approach can help prevent unnecessary drama, as demonstrated in some of my previous videos.
- Also, in how he draws his gun, the sportsman employs a two-handed grip while closing in on the target. This technique ensures that each shot fired results in a precise hit without risking harm to innocent bystanders. An additional point of awareness is to prevent the criminal from grabbing his weapon.
- Some other points are highlighted in the video.
Overall, the video provides valuable insights into these lessons, offering guidance for effective self-defense strategies.

A security camera recorded the moment when a sports shooter reacts to a robbery and shoots a criminal who was robbing a bakery in Atibaia (SP). The action happened on Tuesday night (10) when the shooter was heading to the shooting club (see video above).
In the images it is possible to see that the man enters the trade and then the criminal arrives. He steals the customer's wallet and chain and then goes to the cashier, but ends up dropping something on the floor and bends down to pick it up. Then the customer, who is a sports shooter, pulls out a gun and reacts to the assault, hitting the man.
According to the Civil Police, the case happened around 20:20 p.m. in a bakery in the Gate neighborhood. The sportsman fired three shots at the criminal, who was hit in the neck, leg and arm.
Also according to the police, the criminal was rescued to the Santa Casa of the city and remained hospitalized, under police escort, until the publication of the report. An accomplice of the criminal fled after noticing the confusion.
The sportsman had a license for the weapon, gave a statement to the police and was released.

Rape Suspect Tries Jumping Out Of 6th Floor Window To Flee Cops, Bounces Off Glass
Blue Ash, OH – Police bodycam captured the moment a rape and kidnapping suspect ricocheted off the reinforced glass window of a hotel room on Sunday as he tried to flee from officers (video below).
The incident occurred on Nov. 21 at the Quality Hotel Conference Center Cincinnati Blue Ash in the 5900-block of Pfeiffer Road, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Charging documents said that the victim told police 20-year-old Onjre Damon George struck her multiples times and left visible bruises on her head and body.
She also told officers that George stopped her from calling 911 and also unplugged the phone in the hotel room, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Charging documents said the woman accused George of choking her until she became unconscious.
The woman told police that when she was finally able to leave the hotel room, George stayed close to her, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
She told police she tried to catch the eye of another hotel guest to get help but eventually made eye contact with a hotel employee at the front desk, according to court documents.
The front desk clerk called the police and requested a welfare check after the couple garnered her attention, FOX News reported.
“She stated she noticed a male and female and that the female looked unwell,” according to the police report. “She stated she was discreetly able to ask the female if she was okay and the female used body language to indicate that something was wrong.”
The employee told police she had mouthed “do you need help?” at the woman and the women nodded yes, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
When officers responded to the hotel, the first thing they did was separate the couple and interview the woman, FOX News reported.
George returned to the room while the victim was talking to the police, and then officers went to the hotel room to talk to him, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Bodycam video showed an officer asked George what happened between him and the woman and he denied that there had been a problem.
The officer turned George around as if to detain him and the suspect began to flex, the video showed.
“Don’t tense up man,” the officer told George.
That was when George broke free and made a dash for the hotel window, the video showed.
He took off at a sprint toward the back of the hotel room and the video showed the officer asked “where you going?” just as George hurled his body against the reinforced plate glass.
George screamed when his body ricocheted off the hotel room’s window, the video showed.
The officers could be heard chuckling on the bodycam.
“Look, I’m about to jump. I’m about to jump,” George threatened when the officer started to approach him with his Taser drawn, the video showed.
“Don’t Tase me, don’t Tase me,” the suspect begged in the bodycam before the audio was silenced.
The rest of the video appeared to show George complied with officers’ commands to get down on the floor, and then he was put into handcuffs and arrested.
George was charged with assault, kidnapping, and rape and booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
He was held at the facility in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
George was arraigned on Monday and scheduled to go before a grand jury on Dec. 1, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.
Blue Ash Police Chief Scott Noel told reporters the incident was not a random kidnapping.
Chief Noel said that the pair knew each other and had a relationship in the past, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported.

Gun disarming goes wrong | Man shot 6 times during pot shop robbery | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Robbery | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 3 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
» See a failing gun disarming during a robbery.
Again, sorry for the delay…this project was a disaster. 18 variations of this project due to corrupt files. Eventually, the job is done and I hope, without mistakes, you can extract some valuable lessons out of this breakdown.
* Disarming and reality
Besides the fact that this guy just needed to cooperate and not disarm the robber, he showed us some valuable information regarding the topic of gun disarming…which is often debated for several reasons.
There are certain people who post a ton of gun disarming-poop and pretend to be the *uking master of gun disarming, which results in giving people (who believe in this shit) a dangerously false feeling of security. There is also a group of critics who see through this *ullshit in a total disbelieve/rejection of gun disarming. ..as if a gun disarming will never work in reality.
Let me put it kindly, both are not constructive.
Two things deducted from reality:
1 - Sometimes a gun disarming = necessary. There are situations where you know the assailant is going to shoot after a rape, home invasion, revenge, etc. So you need to cover this subject as good as possible for self-protection. But it has its place, and it must be covered honestly and as good as possible.
2 - Some gun disarms can work, reality shows us. I did several breakdowns on that.
Question:
What do you think what caused him to lose control? Specific/detailed answers please.
Have a nice day people, and thanks for your patience and enthusiasm in receiving the RVFK content.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Man shot 6 times during Shoreline pot shop robbery
SHORELINE, Wash. - An employee at a retail marijuana shop in Shoreline knows he is lucky to be alive after he was shot six times during a robbery last month. Two suspects walked into Dockside Cannabis on Aurora Ave N just before 11 p.m. on Jan. 5. Huckleberry Kid, his real name, says he just reacted when one of the men put a gun in his face and demanded money.
"I grabbed the gun and tried to keep control of it, but it was a scary moment," said Kid. "I’m not Bruce Lee, so my handling skills of his gun didn’t keep it away from me."
The 22-year-old was shot six times as both suspects opened fire on him. He spent weeks in the ICU recovering and may still have more surgery ahead.
"I got shot in the leg. I got shot through and through in the arm, broke one of my bones. Got a screw in there. I got shot through the abdomen, chopped up my liver a little bit. I got another shot in the abdomen and another shot on the top of the leg," said Kid.
He staggered into the back room where he collapsed.
"My vision was going out. I was pooling out on the floor. My coworkers were yelling, freaking out saying get 911, call the ambulance," said Kid.
Worried he might not make it, Kid called his girlfriend of 7 years to let her know what happened and that he loved her.
"He started to tell me that he had been shot, that he was bleeding out. I heard his coworkers scream out to call 911. I heard all of their panic and I remember screaming out to him to put someone on the phone and I could tell he was losing consciousness," said Hayley Webster.

Marine disarms a gun during a robbery | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Robbery | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 2 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
“A good solution applied with vigor now is better than a perfect solution ten minutes later.”
When asked how he was able to control the situation, the customer reportedly told deputies, 'The Marine Corps taught me not to [mess] around.
See a mariner act immediately when confronted with a robber and disarm his gun in second…
But you will see that action was risky…the robber pulled back and I think these robbers were rookies.
-» A LITTLE ANALYSIS:
Think with me…
I know as a former red-beret that fast-thinking, decision-making, and action = are important. This is instead of making the perfect analytical decision --> which = difficult in a fast-escalating situation.
Unfortunately, most situations Marines encounter do not allow for any analysis at all. While the analytical approach has its strengths, it also has its weaknesses.
A soldier doesn’t want to fall victim to “paralysis by analysis”.
The problem for Marines is that analytical decision-making is neither practical nor useful in the high-stress situations encountered while on patrol: whether to shoot or not in a matter of milliseconds. A mariner = trained to deal with chaos.
Furthermore, even deliberate decision-making is not purely analytical in every way; it often uses intuition and heuristics.
“What matters most for a soldier is not generating the best possible plan but achieving the best possible result, good enough solutions quickly, then aggressively carrying out those solutions. The goal is to act violently and quickly to drive the tempo of battle and cause the enemy to react.”
That is what you saw the mariner doing in this situation, just as he is trained.
-» SIDE NOTE:
In the original news article, the following was stated:
" The customer (right) quickly pulled out his left arm to disarm the robbery suspect
The suspect dressed in black (left) didn't react quickly enough to the customer's combat technique, which he learned while serving in the Marines."
This is of course not a completely legit combat technique…this is quick decision-making, overwhelming the enemy and adapting certain technical elements to the situation. That's something different.
Just to point out the nonsense new article can produce by talking about things they don't understand.

Machete versus knife - battle of reach and ego | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Weapon fight | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 3 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
See a stupid homogenous-asymmetrical weapon fight between two criminals which we can use to learn something about
reach.
In a weapon fight reach is an important factor.
In this video, I'll cover:
- Contact reach
- Total reach
I will superficial cover using a back or leading hand as the weapon hand.
Addition to the video:
Some pros and cons backhand:
BACKHAND:
» Weapon is out of reach
» You can use a shield
» If you use a shield, block-strike is often easier.
» With some strikes, you can generate more power, just like with boxing
FRONT HAND:
» More direct reach
» You can hold off your opponent from a greater distance. You have a weapon barrier.
» You can move your blade easier where there are no body parts in the way.
» Better left-side protection (if you're holding your weapon in the right hand)
» Less target area - you stand less square
Etc.

Knife attack versus Kicking | FSB officers in Russian stabbed a man | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Knife Violence | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
» See a man stabbed to death by drunk Russian FSB officers. The victim took the initiative a fought back (unarmed) against two attackers - one with a knife. What was his motivation? Did he not realize that a knife was involved? Was he overconfident, poor emotional control? Eventually, he paid with his life.
Some advice in general about knife defense:
I always recommend » NO unarmed fight against a knife…only if there are no options left. That is why I dislike the promotion of tons of knife defense techniques (many dangerous and not realistic), which are often executed with ease by the instructor or a “master”. This approach gives people a false feeling of security, which = so dangerous.
EXTRA INFO - see 1:35 in the video::
1 - THE VICTIM’S AWARENESS OF THE KNIFE?
*)-» Knife awareness and respect for the knife are the first steps. Unarmed fighting against a knife must be the last thing you want to do!
2 - HIS INITIATIVE TO ATTACK - UNARMED
*)-» We all know this general advice - “taking the initiative”– “attack = the best defense”...but sorry, even for the use of that advice you need the right circumstances. Alternative in this situation = prevent physical contact, distancing-positioning, parries/evasions, using environmental shields, in between de-escalation AND meanwhile; seeking for weapons of opportunity, help, or a way to escape.
* O yes, and I understand...some situations NEED an unarmed combative response...I get it!
3 - THE USE OF KICKS AGAINST A KNIFE
*)-» The attacker just eats the kicks, and the victim gets stabbed around these kicks. With the low body kicks, he activates the forward motion (trunk and stab) of the attacker. Kicks must fully connect, especially in such a high state of adrenaline and under influence of alcohol/drugs.
4 - THE ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCES
*)-» Everything changes when the environment changes. That’s why training in a realistic environment is important.
5 - FIGHTING MULTIPLE ATTACKERS
*)-» Knowing how to position yourself against multiple attackers. In this situation (short): not in between, line them up while using the unarmed guy as a shield.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Drunk FSB officers stabbed a man.
11 April 2018
This tragedy happened in the Elbrus district of Kabardino-Balkaria on the night of April 6.
Two heavily drunk FSB officers molested a local resident, Hussein Makitov, with a demand to take them to the sanatorium in which they lived. Hussein refused to carry drunk and inadequate people, a verbal altercation ensued, and the officers began to threaten him with "crusts", then there were rude insults, and then fists.
A fight ensued, in which Hussein won, realizing this, one of the employees ran up to him with a knife and stabbed him in the chest and heart, the second employee threw the victim's phone into the bushes, apparently so as not to call for help. But help would not have helped Hussein, he died in a matter of seconds. The stabbing officer made deliberately fatal wounds.
As it became known, the next day the killers surrendered to the police.
Local residents and relatives of the murdered Khuseyn Makitov are worried that they will try to hush up the case and the perpetrators will go unpunished.

The owner of a mattress store shot two armed robbers who invaded his establishment, in Ji-Paraná Brasil.
The first criminal arrived at the establishment posing as a customer. As soon as the merchant's daughter opened the door of the store, the man entered and announced the robbery.
After surrendering the 23-year-old to the store, the armed robber ordered her to open the door again for another man to enter. From there, the duo went on to demand money and ask if there was anyone else at the scene.
As the robbers approached the door of the store's office, according to the Civil Police, they were surprised by shots fired by the store's owner, the 23-year-old's father.
There was an intense exchange of gunfire between the suspects and the businessman and, after that, the two men ran out, but one of them fell shot in front of the establishment. The second suspect managed to flee.

Crazy shoot-out between CATS bus driver and a passenger | RVFK self-protection
CATEGORY: Gun Violence | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
» See this intense shoot-out between a demanding passenger wielding a gun and an armed bus driver. While I fully support defending oneself and showing no mercy to criminals, it is crucial to consider the safety of innocent bystanders when assuming responsibility in such situations. Diffusing dangerous escalating situations requires employing tactics that prioritize the protection of all involved.
Though the driver was undoubtedly threatened and had the right to defend himself, it is important to examine closely where he crossed the line. The direction of his gunfire posed a risk to innocent bystanders, trapping both the suspect and another passenger. Furthermore, he opened fire again and targeted a fleeing suspect. In addition to the immediate threat, bystanders outside the bus could have been endangered by reckless driving or stray bullets.
Imagine if your child, seated in passenger one's seat while on their way to school, had experienced this chaotic shoot-out. It becomes evident that there is more to handling such situations than simply drawing a gun and shooting. This is a crucial lesson emphasized by law enforcement and the military.

Machete vs knife fight - multiple opponents | Pincer movement | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Weapon fight | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
See a bladed weapon fight between 2 guys with a machete against one guy with a big knife. It looks like a sort of revenge assault or thing got heated with lightning speed. I've got no background information, so I'm just guessing.
1 » Pincer movement - Multiple opponents
Fighting multiple opponents = of course, different from fighting one man. Some points:
• They can encircle-pincer you.
• Using static shields like a car or something is difficult to maintain and only usable until the attackers go around the static shield in opposite directions. In this way, they've "taken" the static shield from the defender.
• They can attack you at the same time.
2 » See how the defender reacts to the pincer movement:
• Repositioning himself (2x)
• 300 tactics
• Bouncing between targets
3 » Fighting style
You see that the defender was forced to an aggressive-infight type of fighting style, otherwise he would probably have got slaughtered.

An unarmed guard prevented a gunman from entering a Buffalo treatment clinic
Jeremy Griffin enters the lobby of he Alba de Vida substance abuse treatment clinic holding an AR-15.
Courtesy of Buffalo Police
On Thursday morning, a man walked into the lobby of the Alba de Vida substance abuse treatment clinic in Buffalo, N.Y., holding an AR-15. He fired one round into the wall before an unnamed security guard forced the man against a wall, took him outside and then pinned him to the ground with the help of another security guard.
The incident was caught on surveillance footage recently released by Buffalo police. The footage shows the man, 48-year-old Jeremy Griffin of Williamsville, N.Y., entering the clinic and brandishing the weapon before being confronted by a security guard.
Griffin then appeared to fire a shot. The security guard then ran toward him, pinning him against the wall. The two struggled before the guard was able to drag Griffin outside, while another security guard followed him.
Security footage from outside the clinic shows the two guards wrestling Griffin to the ground while two bystanders helped take the AR-15 from him.
Officers say at least two more rounds were fired during the struggle, but no one was injured.
The clinic is run by Promesa Inc., and affiliated with the human services nonprofit Acacia Network. It provides, among other things, medication-assisted treatment for people dealing with substance abuse.
"The Acacia Network commends the tremendous bravery of our employees, who immediately sprang into action and averted a possible tragedy. We are proud of the safety and security measures we have in place, including our dedicated security personnel," Gabriela González, assistant vice president of communications and development told NPR.
Griffin has been charged with a number of felonies, including attempted murder. Officers say he stopped at a home on Pennsylvania Street and shot a woman in the leg before going to the clinic. The woman was taken to Erie County Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries.
"[Both shootings] were an attempted robbery seeking what we believe to be drugs," Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia said in a press conference. "There was, at this point, no other motive other than an attempted robbery."
Buffalo Police are working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to determine where the AR-15 came from. Officers say the magazine was loaded with more than ten rounds of ammunition which is illegal in New York. The New York SAFE Act prohibits possession of a magazine that has the capacity to hold more than ten (10) rounds of ammunition regardless of when it was manufactured or when it was obtained. Investigators don't believe the attack was planned.

Fighting back robbers goes wrong | RVFK self-protection
CATEGORY: Knife attack | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
»
I love seeing good people fight back against bad people, but there's always debate about when to fight back and the right to do so. I understand this is a sensitive topic. I hope this video is not misunderstood and encourages people to think tactically about how to fight back while controlling their emotions.
If I were sitting at the table on the left with my wife and children, I would be absolutely furious. The defender, who was the owner's husband and a member of the military police, fired 14 shots while the robber fired 2-3 shots in this narrow snack bar. It's impossible to highlight every shot, so you may only hear 3-4 shots in the midst of the gunfight. But so many flying bullets!
Drawing a gun against an already-drawn gun seems risky. It's smarter to fight back tactically when the robbers are distracted. Of course, cooperating with the robbers is also an option if it saves innocent lives. This may seem soft, but police all over the world advise this!

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Video captures moment Ohio kidnapping suspect tries to stab police officer with pen
Staff at St. Brigid School in Xenia called authorities about Reid Duran, 35, who allegedly told police he was there to kidnap a 5-year-old girl.
01:22 /01:37
An Ohio kidnapping suspect tried to stab a police officer with a pen before he was quickly subdued, footage of the jailhouse attack revealed on Thursday.
Reid Duran, 35, had agreed to be questioned on Monday after police encountered him at St. Brigid Catholic School in Xenia, about 15 miles east of downtown Dayton, and he was taken to an interview room at the Xenia Justice Center, officials said.
Duran, seen in the video wearing a blue t-shirt and shorts, was not handcuffed since he was there voluntarily. The video shows him nonchalantly grabbing a pen off a desk with his left hand, then suddenly lunging at the officer, later identified as Nicholas Peters.
Peters blocks the stabbing attempt, then throws Duran to the ground and radioes for help before jumping on the prisoner to handcuff him, the video shows.
"Put your hands behind your back now," Peters commanded during a brief struggle. "Are you f---ing kidding me right now? Put your hands behind your f---ing back right now!"
Duran had been at St. Brigid's open house and lied about being the parent a kindergartener, officials said, before suspicious school staff called police.
The suspect allegedly told police later he was attempting to kidnap a 5-year-old girl.
"Duran did make statements to the investigating detective claiming that he intended to give his victim candy laced with tranquilizers, but there is no verification that the candy found on him at the time of his interaction with the Xenia Police officers had any sort of drug on it," according to a police statement.
"Duran did not give candy to the victim or any child at the school event. During the time period that Duran was at St. Brigid School, he was never alone with the victim, and there were people in the kindergarten classroom, and the rest of the building."
Duran was charged with attempted kidnapping, felonious assault and escape, police said.
His bail hearing is set for Monday morning.
The man's defense attorney could not be reached for comment on Friday.
The suspect's brother and mother both told NBC News on Friday that Duran has been suffering from schizophrenia for years and has never shown any predilection for violence.
"It's more self-harm, he'll stop eating, get really paranoid and go into a corner. He's very gentle and considerate to others," said 37-year-old Roy Duran, adding that his family is now struggling to raise money for his brother's legal defense. "The harm is always insular and against himself."
The family said Reid Duran does not have any prior arrests but has been subjected to a mental health commitment.
"That's not like him," mother Melissa King, 58, said of the video showing her son lunging the officer. "I think he began to feel scared and he's cornered. I just know he's not in his right mind. He needs psychiatric help."

See an off-duty agent cooperate immediately when confronted with a robbery. Immediately hand over his belongings to the robber as he waits (creates) for an opportunity to deploy his weapon (out of sight) and act at the right time.
» Don't act without thinking! Learning to do things automatically is not the same as not thinking. You need to process new information, time your actions, see/create opportunities, and adapt to the environment. You need to be tactical, and we all understand that a direct ambush attack follows different rules. There are always exceptions where you have no time and space.

Pizzeria customer kills assailant and aggressor's girlfriend abandons corpse
INSIDE a pizzeria in Brazil, a shootout broke out between a customer and a criminal who along with a woman, apparently his partner, intended to assault the premises.
In a video uploaded to social networks, it is seen how the client observes his phone while waiting to be attended, at that moment the criminal enters with his accomplice and with a gun in hand begins to threaten the diner and the staff of the pizzeria, so that they deliver their belongings.
The young man immediately hands them his cell phone, while the employees try to safeguard their valuables.
The client throws himself to the ground, pretending to protect himself, however, seeing that the criminals are distracted, he rejoins, takes out a gun and begins to shoot at the pair of criminals.
After receiving several hits, the thief fell badly injured on the side of the counter of the premises, where minutes later he died, while the vigilante ran out of the premises, as did the woman who left the establishment in terror, with the stolen and with the weapon of her partner.
Minutes later, she returned, but it is unknown if it was to turn herself in or try to take her boyfriend's body, so she was detained at the scene.
This event occurred on May 25, however it was this week that it began to be disseminated.

Attempted store robbery | cashier foreseeing robbery at gunpoint | Real Violence For Knowledge

A quick analysis of a cashier foreseeing a robbery at gunpoint.
It must be a rough part of the world for the Cashier to draw just on suspicion.
This video was also shared on Reddit. I selected two comments. What is your opinion?
1 - One user praised the cashier's actions: "There was no confirmation the hooded man intended to rob the store. He was giving the benefit of the doubt. Once the threat was made, the cashier was ready."
2 - Another, however, said: "... no amount of money from a store that is insured is worth risking your life for. Most gas stations will tell people to just hand the money, and that is why they only keep a couple hundred in the till."
What do you think?

CCTV Shows Cashier Foreseeing Gunpoint Theft
BY : SHOLA LEE ON : 14 MAY 2022 15:12
The footage, shared on Reddit, shows a store clerk arming himself as he sees a suspicious person approaching the store.
Wearing a hoodie and a mask, the would-be thief says something to the clerk before handing him a bag to get money from the till.
They then put their gun on the counter facing the worker.
At first, it seems as though the clerk is going to comply, swiping his card to access the till.
However, the worker then grabs the gun he'd readied earlier and points it at the would-be thief.
As he does, the individual grabs the empty bag and walks off, with the cashier keeping his gun pointed at him.

Deploying weapon while being chased by a knife-wielding attacker | RVFK-self-protection
NEW VIDEO!
CATEGORY: Knife attack | Analysed Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
» See the difficulty of deploying your weapon while being chased by a knife-wielding attacker.
✅ The story -> An officer during a traffic control is being chased by an attacker wielding a knife, following an incident where his colleague was run over by a car intentionally. As he tries to retrieve his rifle, which is hanging around his neck with a weapon belt, the officer faces a critical moment and is able to shoot down the criminal.
✅ This video highlights the importance of buying time to get your weapon ready, from a partially deployed state to fully deployed. The officer's specific actions with his firearm and its condition are not clear from the footage.
✅ However, in general, the ability to buy time to retrieve your firearm, chamber a round, disengage the safety, and aim at the target can make the difference between life and death.
✅ Some key points to consider include:
» Running while adjusting your route/direction and using static shield/obstacles.
» Running and capturing visuals (photos) of the chaser/attacker.
» Adjusting your firearm belt while running.
» Chambering a round while running (N/S).
» Disengaging the safety while running.
» Running and swiftly handling your weapon without falling, then turning, aiming and shooting.
✅ Additionally, let's address a related scenario: When you need to deploy your weapon, but:
» It is concealed and closed
» You are not carrying it and need to retrieve it.
✅ These situations require quick thinking, physical agility, and adherence to proper weapon handling and safety protocols. The objective is to ensure personal safety and protect against imminent threats.

Taekwondo versus Kung Fu / Wing Chun | Classic Homo Sapiens Fight | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Unarmed Violence | Clean Content | Explicit content 1 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
It's an old video, and I'm not sure if I already shared this one because I could not find the video in my playlist. If you have already seen it, have fun seeing it one more time.
Taekwondo versus Kung Fu/Wing Chun (according to some background information). The Taekwondo guy throws some Jeet Kune Do typical stuff…but okay.
The classic "Unga Bunga Homo Sapiens" fight starts after a 3sec stylistic intro.

VIDEO | Kung Fu vs. Taekwondo bare-knuckle street fight ends in surprising fashion
Combat battles that pit a certain style against another opposing style always make for an interesting matchup. This is what made the UFC in its early days so interesting.
Here, we take a look at this crazy bare knuckle street fight competition between a Kung Fu and a Taekwondo practitioner.
The two start off with the Taekwondo fighter throwing a few kicks and then the two exchange in a wild flurry of punches. They eventually tie up and the Kung Fu fighter lands a nice trip on the Taekwondo fighter taking the fight to the ground. The Kung Fu fighter surprisingly ends up in side control and finishes the fight with some classic ground and pound strikes that resemble what we see quite often in the UFC.

Unarmed Legal Defense Against a Knife Attacker - In-Depth Analysis
CATEGORY: Knife attack | Clean Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
» Let's try a new video and hope this one is not going to be deleted. There's much information in the video about the stupidity of getting stabbed over nothing. Still, some interesting parts are not analyzed to keep this video from becoming too long. So, I made a selection of what to focus on. For example, there is more to say about his unarmed defense against the knife, the ingredients of the post-conflict phase or how to deal with senseless agonistic behavior.
In the second part, you see the defender using a punch to neutralize the knife attacker, who was attempting to close in for the second stab. It's a very risky move, and he could have fled to the nearest static shield. However, he did what he did, and it worked, which I often see in reality as a last-resort (unarmed) option against a knife. You might say 'control is better,' but try controlling the knife hand when he approaches you with his stabbing arm retracted.
-> What I'm trying to say is that it's not a black-and-white situation. Tools need to adaptably fit the circumstances. Sometimes you can run, sometimes you have a force multiplier, sometimes you can get control over the knife and sometimes the only option is a preemptive strike right on the button and hoping it will do its job. That is reality.
Disclaimer: Importance of legal self-defense
Remember, self-defense is not just about physical techniques; it's also about mental preparedness and understanding the legal implications of your actions.

The day before, the police department received a report that a man with a stab wound was taken to one of the hospitals in Orenburg. During the investigation, it turned out that a conflict arose between the victim and a passer-by. As a result of a verbal skirmish, an unknown person took out a knife and stabbed the interlocutor with a knife. This was captured by CCTV cameras
According to the relatives of the victim, it happened in one of the courtyards of an apartment building on Nagornaya Street.
The camera clearly shows how an unknown person took a knife out from under his clothes, after which he sharply stabbed the offender. Despite the injury, the victim managed to knock the cold weapon out of the hands of the attacker. It is reported that the men were in a state of alcoholic intoxication.
To date, the 31-year-old suspect has been detained. On the basis of the crime, a criminal case was initiated under the article "Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm". The maximum penalty is imprisonment for up to 10 years.

Supermarket security guard employs kickboxing against knife attacker
I had to make this video quickly, but it's a great educational scenario.
CATEGORY: Knife attack | Fast breakdown|Explicit content 3 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
» Watch a security guard in a Dutch supermarket effectively deal with a man wielding a knife, demonstrating some classic Dutch kickboxing moves.
✅His reaction: First, awareness. Then a push kick followed by a passing-by counter.
✅Proportional force: Also, noticeable is his proportional use of violence, refraining from kicking the man on the head while he's lying down.
✅Aftermath: The man has been apprehended by the police, and the reason for him carrying the knife is not known. It is evident that something had occurred prior, because the security guard was already alert.
What do you think about the reaction of this security guard?

Arguing escalates | Hit-and-Run knife attack pattern | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Knife attack | Clean Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
Two main subjects in this video:
-> The hit-and-run knife attack pattern
-> The Napoleon Complex - the compensating aggression of a smaller man.
Before you even talk about how to defend yourself against a knife attack, you need to know how people really attack using a knife. I’m often surprised by what people see as an actual attack. Also, a lot of self-defense instructors can’t mention concrete knife attack patterns (maybe one or two)...patterns you see all around the world. They use terminology and movements of knife attacks, which the system they practice or teach provides.
I described a set of different knife attack patterns over the years, which I constantly see back when I analyze CCTV knife attacks.
The 'hit-and-run' knife attack pattern.
One of the knife attack patterns I distinguish is the 'hit-and-run' knife attack pattern, and it’s usually born out of an ambush. They stab mostly once and then run away to protect themselves against any direct counter (and observing the effects at a distance), leaving the stabbed man behind in confusion. Certain animals have this same pattern, but then, of course without a knife.
This is a name I came up with for the purpose of categorizing it.
Knowing this = understanding how certain people build up their attacks, which tactic and movement they’re using.
In this video you'll see:
» The ego problem and the tension building up.
» The red-zone distance.
» How secretly and fast the attacker deploys his knife and stabs him once.
» The NAPOLEON COMPLEX -> Characterized by overly-aggressive or domineering social behavior with compensating tactics. The self-defense industry tends to focus primarily on "how to defeat a bigger man", but there is more. A smaller guy is more likely to compensate with weapons or by the use of dirty tactics to fight a bigger man...just like in this video.
AND that's how they do it in reality. Reality = our master. Through reality, we can determine the questions, which = the first step in formulating answers.
QUESTION: Do you know any knife attack patterns? Name them in the comments!

Disco robbery - Fatal mistakes made by the bouncer | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Knife attack | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 4 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
*A video with compact information and easy digestion.
» I don't know the exact background of this video, but it appears to depict an armed robbery in a disco involving two men armed with a knife and a gun. They are demanding valuables from someone who appears to have a position there, possibly a bouncer.
Throughout the video, I observed different patterns unfolding in 8 steps, illustrating how the robbers executed their plan and highlighting a significant mistake made by the bouncer. There are valuable lessons we can learn from this situation.
The 8 steps include:
1- Pre-robbery indicators
2- Signaling/timing of the “Attack initiation”
3- The weapons involved
4- Specific roles
5- The instructions
6- First-step escalation
7- Total escalation
8- The consequences

Brave girl escapes a child predator | Real Violence For Knowledge
CATEGORY: Robbery | Analyzed Content | Explicit content 3 (scale 1-5) - Rated NC-17
This is a remake. The old video was deleted when my entire YouTube channel was deleted.
QUESTION: Do you talk with your children about these scenarios? Talking about how to see certain signals and how to listen to your creep/predator alarm. Talking about how these predators behave and what tactics they generally use. Explaining how to act in most common scenarios. Is your child prepared?
Some points:
She did great. She paid attention to her world and did not allow herself to get pinned near the elevator. Furthermore, she kept thinking, had a smart idea, and made a decision fast. She was unfrozen, what a brave girl.
1. I think she gradually got convinced of her gut feelings, but she was already in the hallway! That the man followed her like this into the building was for her the final signal.
A lot of victims recognize this...during the daily activities noticing something is not right, but you continue to do what you normally do and then…there is no space to adjust.
2. Looking at point 1, what are the possible alternatives for such a scenario? She did great, but evaluating afterward gives us even more insights. Think about alternatives like:
- changing route when noticing being followed and going
to public sites, trusted adults, and safe points in general.
- Using the intercom for signaling.
- Enter the door fast and close it.
- Etc.
3. The art of hiding-sneaking-fleeing are important self-protection tool. It's almost impossible for her to punch her way out of this situation. A classic self-defense course is for 80% useless.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Girl, 9, outwits stalker who followed her home from school
9-year-old girl tricks 'suspicious stalker' who followed her into building
Police detained a man who followed a school girl home after she caught wind of his suspicious behaviour and played a trick on him.
CCTV shows the incredible moment the child,9, stopped the stalker in his tracks as she headed back to her apartment block in Stupino, Moscow.
The video shows the quick-thinking moment she hid behind a letter box instead of waiting for the lift, deceiving the stalker who enters the hallway with his back turned to her.
She manages to leave the building by sneaking quietly past him, and goes to meet her father who was fortunately nearby.
The culprit, dressed all in black with a woollen hat, spends a few clueless moments near the elevator before realising she may have ran away.
This allows her to sneak past him and meet the father (Picture: RT)
Chilling CCTV shows him check to see if anyone is watching before following the girl back outside.
However, as he leaves the building he crosses paths with the 9-year-old and her father, who called the police, Russia Today reports.
Officers detained the man, reportedly a registered patient with mental health issues, but said they won’t launch a criminal case as no crime was committed.
The girl’s bravery has been praised on social media.
One Reddit user said: ‘This is incredibly disturbing. What amazing awareness by such a young girl.’
Another said: ‘Smart girl! This really shows the predatory behavior. It doesn’t matter the age, what they were wearing, their gender. There are monsters out there. The monsters should be punished.’
