Need a little pick me up for the day? Well just watch this adorable dog show off its pearly whites for the camera and you won't be able to help but smile right back! It's impossible to be in a bad mood while watching this super cute pup and its winning smile! Footage shows one Old English Sheepdog holding 5 toys in his mouth causing him to give a <a href="https://rumble.com/v4jo46-dog-intensely-shows-teeth-when-owner-touches-toy.html" target="_blank">toothy grin</a> to the camera. His face is priceless! Teaching your dog to smile can be as easy as teaching them to sit. All you have to do is catch the behavior and reward it, while giving the cue ‘smile’. Dogs pick things up very easily, so this should be a piece of cake! However, that might not be the case with this adorable pooch here! Judging by the fact that the indecisive pup has grabbed 5 toys in its tiny mouth, we are assuming that his fancy grin is out of necessity rather than out of courtesy! When you see a dog baring their teeth, you first thought might not be that they are posing for a happy photo, but this dog seem to be doing just that, and for the most unsuspected reason. A lot of dogs seem to be making “smiley faces” when their owner is scolding them for something they did and knew they shouldn’t, looking like total silly bodies in the process, flaunting their guilty face, begging for forgiveness. This is referred to as a submissive grin or smile. It is usually accompanied by body language such as lip licking, an averted gaze, a relaxed body posture, and ears sitting flatter against the head. We humans do it too, you find yourself in a sticky situation, so you pull out a smile and try to calm things down.
