February is the perfect time to fall off your New Years resolution wagon, so here’s some deep fried mozzarella cheese shots filled with marinara! Here’s what you need: Block of Mozzarella Flour Egg Wash Bread Crumbs Marinara Sauce Start off by creating guidelines in your cheese block to divide it into sixths. Create slight indentations with your knife then hollow out the middle of each subsequent brick making sure not to cut too cut all the way through the bottom. After you have hollowed out blocks go back with the knife and cut them into their individual pieces. Take each piece and dip it into your egg wash, then the flour, and finally the bread crumbs. Repeat this process multiple times for each brick then chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Fill a pot with deep frying oil and cook each brick until golden brown. Lastly plate and fill with marinara sauce.

Mozzarella Bread Tomatoes Basil Balsamic Vinegar Olive Oil Drizzle some olive oil into a pan over a medium high heat. Soak of up some of the olive oil with a slice of bread then drizzle balsamic vinegar on top. Add a slice of cheese, tomato slices, some basil leaves, then another slice of cheese. Soak up some more oil into another piece of bread and drizzle with balsamic vinegar then add on top. Once the bottom is seared, flip and repeat.

We LOVE pizza pockets and we want to share our love with our super quick and easy pizza pockets recipe! Here’s what you’ll need: Flour Pepperoni Pizza Crust Mozzarella Cheese Eggs Marinara Sauce Oregano Parmesan Cheese Muffin Tin Preheat your oven to 375. Flour a large surface and roll out some pizza dough. Cut the crust into sixteenths and stretch each piece to fill each muffin slot. Fill with mozzarella, marinara sauce, pepperoni, and parmesan cheese. Fold in the corners to close the pockets then brush with an egg wash the sprinkle with oregano. Bake for 25-27 minutes and enjoy.

Who would eat salad when you could eat meat? Well apparently you can have both. Shocked? So were we, which is why we investigated with this carne asada kale salad. Ingredients: Olive Oil Beets Cinnamon Kale Goat Cheese Pomegranate Carne Asada Pepper Pecans 1 Tsp Honey 1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard Remove the stems from your kale then give it a rough chop and toss it in a mixing bowl. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and massage for a minute or two. To make your vinaigrette add 1 tsp honey, 1 tbsp mustard, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, a pinch of salt, some round pepper, 1/5 C balsamic vinegar, 1/2 C olive oul to a small bowl and mix together. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to pan over a medium high heat and sear both sides of your carne asada. To serve, add your salad and carne asada to a bowl, sauce it up with your vinaigrette, and garnish with beets, pomegranate, pecans, and goat cheese.
