English Bulldogs like Reuben can be handsome, funny pets to have around the house. But as seen here, the cleaning and upkeep on them can be both hilarious and nasty at the same time. While his owners were in the middle of cleaning a dirty backside, Reuben took off with a bit of unfinished business trailing behind him. Add in a bit of clearing his throat and you have quite the scene. If you ever have a bulldog of your own, be prepared for a few situations like these.

Sure they're cute and handsome little devils, but when English Bulldogs get cranky and need to burn off some energy, it's bad news for you if you're a brand new dog bed. There's no better place for your dog to de-stress than by having a bark and a roll in a cushy new sleeping spot. Reuben the Bulldog gets a ton of love from his family, but replacing dog beds can be a pain. If only he would use them to sleep! It's lucky for him that no matter how many beds he destroys and no matter how upset his family gets, they could never stay mad at a creature as funny and cute as this guy.

Bulldogs can run, but they can't hide when it comes to getting their ears cleaned. That includes Reuben the Bulldog who heads for the hills whenever he seen the bottle of cleaning solution coming towards him. What usually ensues is a chase, followed by his owners getting covered in cleaner when Roo starts shaking his head. Not much fun for anyone involved, but it has to be done. When it's all over, some rolling and rumbling around is in store to make him feel better. All part of the daily Bulldog upkeep!

Despite the fact that Reuben the English Bulldog has more toys than he knows what to do with, his family made yet another impulse buy at the pet store and picked him up a pink, squeaky ball to play with. There's only one problem: this fuzzy little man does not know what to make of the screeching noise coming out of it. Curious yet afraid, this little man could not be more adorable.

The benefits of having a dog are immeasurable: They can lower blood pressure, make you get more exercise, provide comfort when you're lonely or anxious, make you smile and, more importantly, just be a loving presence around your home. Reuben the Bulldog has done all these things and made the people around him a happier family. To sit quietly and watch him snoozing on his favorite new bed is a calming scene. There may not be a lot going on here, but if you need to take a moment in your busy day to be calm and restful, Reuben is here for you. Reuben's owner wrote this small tune 20 years ago and never gave it a name, but now he's decided after all this time to title it 'Reuben's Lullaby'. Enjoy!

There's one thing Reuben the Bulldog will never say no to...

Like a child who fights to stay up late, this tired bulldog is having a hard time with it. He just wants to be held and rocked to sleep!

Dogs in costumes can be cute, but when they are obviously not happy wearing one, it can be funny as well! Reuben the Bulldog is not a fan of his Halloween pumpkin suit. Good thing it only comes out if the closet one day a year!

Some days are better than others, and we all know that one person (or dog) who lets you know exactly how they're feeling!

Reuben the Bulldog had a long day of napping and playing with an added visit to the vet. All that takes a lot out of a fella... so much so that he barely responds to the offer of his favorite snack. His hunger wins out in the end the notoriously low energy breed finds the strength to get moving.

When you're a handsome bulldog and you know it, pout enough and your owners will give in. That's exactly what Reuben does because he has them completely under his control. He may be high maintenance, but he's worth it!

Big babies come in all species and Reuben the Bulldog is no exception. Like an overtired toddler, he has trouble settling down at night if he's not sprawled across someone's lap. When his owners need a moment to themselves that's a problem. How can you get comfortable if your owners don't cater to you every second of the day? :)

The first step in recognizing you have a problem is to acknowledge it. For Reuben the Bulldog, he would let his owners brush him for days on end, it feels so good. Time to have a talk with him about attending a 12 step grooming program! :)

Sometimes Bulldogs get dry noses that need a little balm applied to keep them healthy. After application, this guy is clearly not happy with the results and tries his best to rub it off. Cue the mini-tantrum. Too cute!

Needy does not begin to describe the English Bulldog. When his owner tells him to lay down on the floor instead of someone's lap for just a few minutes....this English Bulldog gives his pouty response. Too cute!

Every night this English Bulldog has to sleep on his owner's lap.... no exceptions. When he comes calling, there's no resisting this package of absolute cuteness.

Reuben the Bulldog loves car rides more than anything in the world. If he even thinks there's the slightest chance he's going in the car, he's sure to listen to every word until he knows it's go time!

If you're going to complain about your dog, don't be surprised if he gives it right back to you.

Usually dogs don’t enjoy having their ears cleaned, especially this English Bulldog. The only way he knows how to get rid of the tickling in the ears is to take a few tumbles and rub the uncomfortable feeling off the carpet! It is funny to watch this <a href="https://rumble.com/v33oj6-this-bulldog-hates-his-lifejacket.html" target="_blank">Bulldog</a> being annoyed by the yikes feeling he has on the inside of his ears and he just cannot shake off the sensation! He is overly annoyed and starts rolling around on the carpet. It is so adorable to hear him whine and show feelings of disgust every time the owner asks him whether he liked having his ears cleaned! Most dogs’ ears are a lot larger and their ear canals are much longer than ours are. They are certainly a lot more sensitive. It is not surprising that dogs struggle and may even become aggressive when it comes to the hygiene of their ears. Dogs frequently develop inflammatory conditions of the ears, so it is important to train your dog to allow handling of its ears from an early age. Ideally, this is done when the ears are healthy, so that the dog learns that handling of the ears is not a painful procedure. We know for sure that this dog didn’t enjoy the process at all, and wonders what he did wrong to receive the ear treatment! However, after a few moments, he get on with playing, and totally forgets about his <a href="https://rumble.com/v39gnd-baby-ear-massage.html" target="_blank">ears</a> and how much he hated the cleaning!

Care and upkeep of English Bulldogs means keeping their faces clean. Unfortunately for Reuben the Bulldog, it drives him crazy. Too cute!

Sometimes when your owner is taking too long to go for a walk it's time to take matters into your own hands.....or paws!

Reuben the Bulldog does not appear to enjoy his family members wearing gorilla masks. Not cool!

For Reuben the English Bulldog, sometimes it's a problem having a tiny, stubby tail that you can't reach. Just underneath it gets itchy and needs a cleaning. Check out his hilarious response when his owners break out the 'Magic Itch Sticks'!
