This is the second time Job has completed the trail with Beal and Bo. He seems to follow Bo's lead. Beal likes to check "Peemail".

Second day Job is on leash. Bo is very patient with Job, he keeps Beal from playing rough with him. We got him Friday, Feb 2nd 2024.

Hummingbirds getting ready for trip across the Gulf. Make sure you have plenty sugar water out for them.

Sunflowers, humming birds, garden, chickens, geese, peacocks, guineas.

I have never seen the creeks overflow in 40 years I have lived here. Bo was ready to go for a swim. Beal was glad to get out a bit too.

This is only the 3rd time Bo has been off leash herding the chickens. Beal has been doing it for almost 2 years. Beal helps him but will stay back and watch him. When they get them in, they both will sit, and watch the flock.

Bo has been with us since 1-29-23. From Last Chance Rescue Arkansas. He is a sweet boy and Beal loves to be with him.

Tex passed 10-3-22. He was 13 years 6 months old. I will love him forever.

Took Tex for his daily walk and he found something Beal and Boe both missed. Not sure why it has wrong date at the beggining. A huge owl was hanging around yesterday evening.

Remodeled chicken coop and built peacock pen. Summer 2021

Got 2 peacocks that were hatched 7-1-21. I built them a pen 16ftx24ft, 12ft tall. Took 21 days of part time work to get it put together. It has roosts at 2ft, 8ft and 10ft with a tin roof in the back. Peacocks were put in 8/14/21.

Relax to the soothing sound of guineas singing in the rain, after a long dry spell.

Chickens, geese, guineas, german shepherds Tex, Beal and Boe. Cocker Spaniel Pooter. Video covers the last 3 weeks or so of goslings growing, keets, and one chick hatching.

All put in incubator 4-11-21. 12 hatched 5-11 thru 5-17. The 3 smallest still in brooder box in house. Molly has 4 eggs she is sitting on. She showed little interest in the goslings. Desmond took to them right away. When I went to put in pen from box, he went into attack mode. I let him know that some familys eat goose for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Hatched 12 goose eggs from Molly. Today I put 9 of the goslings into new brooder pen with Molly and Desmond. They are doing great. You can not get near the goslings now. They are super protective of them.

Been hand turning these eggs since April 11th. Nice to see them hatching. It makes its move at the 5:00 minute mark.

Out of 41 eggs 19 hatched. 4 Not fertile the rest just did not hatch for whatever reason.
