Bouncing Vehicle Desperately Needs New Suspension
Watching this van bounce on the road sure brings back memories of early 90s hip hop videos. Back then it was cool to make the front of your car jump in the beat of the music, but unfortunately, this is not the case. We can bet that this van’s driver isn’t trying to impress anyone. This vehicle is in desperate need of a suspension check and maybe even a new suspension.
Even though most of us think that the suspension system of the car is there to make the drive more bearable and help us not feel the cracks and holes in the asphalt, if we don’t have it fixed, it can lead to many other problems that might cause an accident. A faulty suspension might make it difficult to stop the car because the front of it would bounce and hit the road. Another issue with the controls might be the turning of the car.
Luckily, there are a few things you can watch out for to check if your suspension system is operating smoothly. The first thing that might make you a bit hesitant of its functionality is the rough ride. Do you feel like your body is bearing the brunt for every hole in the road? If so, your suspension isn’t working properly and you need to fix it. Another trick you can do is to bounce your car when in park. Push on the hood and see if it’s bouncing back. More than 2-3 bounces are a clear indication that something’s not right. Make your car safe in order to keep traffic safe!
