MAMM Founder Delivers Unity Speech in DC
Defeat the Mandates March in DC: In January 2022, several of us from MAMM traveled to DC for a freezing cold, but historic, Defeat the Mandates March. The founder of MAMM was slated to speak to the crowd of 40,000 about the importance of collaboration, when the electricity was abruptly turned off. However, later that day, thanks to a very thoughtful and generous donor, MAMM hosted a reception for the organizers of the march and dozens of activists (who due to the vaccine mandates in DC were unable to enter a restaurant.) In addition to a welcoming energy, warm food and drink, Maureen was able to deliver her 2 minute message of Unity at the reception to a much smaller, but warmer crowd.

“When we start the deployment of this vaccine, we will not have sufficient concrete data to prove that this vaccine reduces transmission.”

3. Will Covid-19 Vaccines Save Lives? Current Trials Aren’t Designed To Tell Us.
“Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, said, “Ideally, you want an antiviral vaccine to do two things . . . first, reduce the likelihood you will get severely ill and go to the hospital, and two, prevent infection and therefore interrupt disease transmission.”7
Yet the current phase III trials are not actually set up to prove either (table 1). None of the trials currently under way are designed to detect a reduction in any serious outcome such as hospital admissions, use of intensive care, or deaths. Nor are the vaccines being studied to determine whether they can interrupt transmission of the virus.”

4. Frequently Asked Questions about COVID-19 Vaccination
“Do I need to wear a mask and avoid close contact with others if I have gotten 2 doses of the vaccine?”

“It’s important for everyone to continue using all the tools available to help stop this pandemicas we learn more about how COVID-19 vaccines work in real-world conditions. Experts are also looking at how many people get vaccinated and how the virus is spreading in communities. We also don’t yet know whether getting a COVID-19 vaccine will prevent you from spreading the virus that causes COVID-19 to other people, even if you don’t get sick yourself. CDC will continue to update this page as we learn more.”

5. Key Things to Know About COVID-19 Vaccines
“If you are vaccinated against COVID-19, you may still be exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19. After exposure, people can be infected with or “carry” the virus that causes COVID-19 but not feel sick or have any symptoms. Experts call this “asymptomatic infection.”
For this reason, even after vaccination, we need to continue using all thetools available to help stop this pandemicas we learn more about how COVID-19 vaccines work in real-world conditions.”
