Zeus the Stubborn Husky chewed up his brother's toy when no one was looking! He had the cone on from when he was recovering from a ruptured anal gland (ouch!). Zeus rarely "de-stuffs toys" in his old age, but maybe he was jealous of Kaden. The Roger Rabbit toy is one of Kaden's favorites! Follow Zeus on Facebook and IG!

Zeus the stubborn husky really lives up to his name. If he doesn't want to do it, he will make his wishes known. Many times Zeus wants to walk in the direction towards the house with the dogs out, or where he sees cats and squirrels. This is just one example of when he wants to walk down a different street. Usually he protests by stopping, sometimes whining and howling, but eventually he gives up and follows the pack (in this case his brother Kaden and foster brother Kiro).

Visits to the veterinarian are a part of everyday life and can be stressful for dogs and humans alike. Although we may try but we can’t really talk our pups through everything that’s going to happen. If you can make your puppy’s vet visits relaxed, it won’t develop anxiety about future appointments. However, not all dogs hate vet visits. You well remember Zeus the Stubborn Husky. He loves his vet, Dr. Yenser, but he does get a little impatient while waiting! We can all relate to that! Do you remember the video about Zeus the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3hdcl-stubborn-husky-refuses-to-give-up-seat.html" target="_blank">stubborn</a> and independent Siberian Husky that would not stop howling just because his owner did not let him go outside? Well, guess what, Zeus is back again with his usual sass. This time Zeus shows that he can’t bear the time he needs to spend waiting at the vet’s office, so the only logical thing he can do is his customary howl. Having watched so many videos with Zeus, we are already used to the way he reacts when something doesn’t turn like he has imagined. What’s difficult for Zeus is the enclosed space of the waiting room and the anxiety associated with waiting. You can’t <a href="https://rumble.com/v4ymbp-some-days-you-just-need-a-little-convincing....html" target="_blank">take this husky on a walk</a> then make it sit about and do nothing, so maybe he tends to associate the vet with anxiety and boredom. He definitely doesn’t need to arrive at the vet’s office too early and one possible solution for his restlessness would be to bring a toy or do something productive while he is waiting. All people have something they fear from, or they hate, some people hate spiders, some people hate the hot weather, and some people hate spicy food. It is what it is, and we can't love everything in the world. Right? But, when it comes to a dog, we know what they hate the most, and it's not cats or even baths. It's the cone of shame. They hate when they have to wear that thing! Also if it's for their good, they absolutely hate it. The lampshade. The Elizabethan collar. The cone of shame. No matter how you call it, possibilities are your dog isn't going to like the thought of having to wear a cone while a wound heals. They turn into drama queens when they wear it and we have a <a href="https://rumble.com/v7l0hv-drama-queens.html" target="_blank">drama queen</a> here to prove that. Take a look at Zeus and his thoughts about wearing the cone of shame. Zeus recently had a growth removed from his eyelid and needs to wear the "cone of shame" until his eye heals. He's not happy about having to wear the cone again after he had to wear it on and off all spring and summer due to hot spots. In complete Zeus fashion, he is negotiating and trying to look cute to gain sympathy, and removal of the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3o1ao-poor-siberian-husky-got-an-accident-wearing-a-cone-for-the-first-time..html" target="_blank">cone</a>! Even though it seems cruel to put one on them, remember that it is a critical medical tool and they have to wear it. Leaving the E collar on consistently is the ideal approach to get your pet accustomed to it. If you feel awful for your pet and take the cone off, at that point set it back on when you leave, your pet may accept it as a discipline and may attempt to crush it. Don't worry. Your dog can eat, drink, pee, and lay down with a cone on. Indeed, the stricter you are with the cone, the quicker they will become acclimated to it. Moreover, pets don't hold feelings of resentment, so they won't be frantic at you for being severe with the guidelines. To be honest, who wants to have a cone around their neck all the time? We would hate it too, but we know that we will do anything for our dogs and sometimes that can be putting a cone on their head for their own good, even though they hate and you hate it too! Zeus the Stubborn Husky has his hoo-mans trained pretty well. He’s also quite a character and very vocal. He was recently at the vet and is starting to get some arthritis in his back left hip. The vet said not to push him for longer than he wants to go on walks and runs. It was a new vet (shout out to Dr Mosebey) and CLEARLY he doesn’t know Zeus yet! Zeus will not move if Zeus does not want to! But he will howl and cry and demand attention and treats, which he gets frequently. Zeus and Kaden both gave 4 paws up for ROAM’s Croc Jerky, which is what they got in this video. Being a husky owner can be hard from time to time. They get stubborn, howl for no apparent reason, love to tear up the living room cushions and will absolutely defy your every try to make them go outside. In this video we witness the hilarious moment when a stubborn pooch throws dramatic temper tantrum at owner, claiming to sit in the front seat of a car! Priceless! Zeus prefers the front seat with the AC vents on him and right next to his owner. However, today he is destined for the back seat. As usual, Kaden the German Shepherd is obediently waiting for Zeus to get himself together. Priceless! We all love the front seat in the car. There is so much more room and you have full access to the radio! If you have the opportunity to sit in the front seat, why wouldn't you? Zeus the very <a href="https://rumble.com/v3hdcl-stubborn-husky-refuses-to-give-up-seat.html" target="_blank">stubborn husky also loves to sit in the front seat</a>. Once he is there, no one is going to move him from his comfy spot! He feels like he called dibs on the front seat, so it's only fair if he gets to stay there. His owner doesn't approve, she tells him to move to the back, but getting him to move isn't going to happen that easily! He continues to whimper, and doesn't budge one bit, so funny! These furry and absolutely adorable goofballs can brighten our day in just a few seconds, and it is only normal that we do the same for them. Despite their bark, they are loving souls who just want to cuddle. However, every once in a while they are entitled to a bad day too, and it's of utmost importance that we give them some credit. <a href="https://rumble.com/v3igp9-stubborn-husky-continues-his-reign-of-stubbornness.html" target="_blank">Huskies</a> are very affectionate with their families and are always up for family bonding time! They love to spend time with you and always seem to make your day a little brighter! Even when they're being stubborn like this dog Zeus, they still love you so much! They're just so comfortable with you, awesome! They have a very high energy level so it is very unlikely you'll ever be bored with these dogs around! Huskies are an absolutely gorgeous type of dog, and are probably the closest to their wolf ancestors in terms of appearance. The term "husky" actually refers to a few different breeds of dogs used for sled pulling and includes breeds like the Alaskan malamute and the American Akita among others. They are highly intelligent, energetic, active, and strong-willed dogs. Unlike some other types of dogs, huskies have a comparatively lower drive to please their masters. They can be pretty independent, and when getting them to do something against their wills can be challenging. In fact, owners being unable to manage a husky's big personality is one of the biggest reasons these dogs are abandoned or returned to shelters. This is why they say huskies are stubborn! They're very smart but they have low motivation to please their owners. Living with this guy is a constant battle of wills as he cries, whines, and howls when he doesn't get his way! He is such a baby, and really acts like a God around the house! Talk about a <a href="https://rumble.com/v30j56-siberian-husky-temper-tantrum.html" target="_blank">nasty temper</a>!

Zeus the Stubborn Husky has been diagnosed with a large liver tumor which may be inoperable. We hope to get good news during surgery which is tentatively schedule for Friday September 11th, 2020. Zeus had lost some weight which prompted a vet visit, and ultimately the discovery of the tumor. His appetite has lessened (despite being on medication) due to the tumor pushing on his stomach. His meals have been cubed steak and grilled chicken, some of his favorites. Despite these yummy offerings, he's struggled to eat all his meals and snacks. It has taken some coaxing and tricking to get him to eat (including peer pressure from Kaden!). Follow Zeus on his journey, which we hope will be for many more years yet.

Husky dogs are known for having a mind of their own and their ability to stand their ground so fervently, their owners sometime ask themselves ‘who owns whom?’. They have a strong will that comes very much handy when it is time to set a course for the sleigh, but in the urban jungle it can be very annoying. Cute, but eventually annoying. Zeus the Husky is a perfect example of his breed’s iron will and <a href="https://rumble.com/v3sdrf-worlds-most-dramatic-stubborn-vocal-husky.html" target="_blank">vocal</a> nature. If he has set his mind on something, there is little that his owner can do to change his mind or make him go against his own beliefs. One of Zeus’s favorite vacation spots is the cabin his owners have in the <a href="https://rumble.com/v30jua-great-smoky-mountains-national-park-usa.html" target="_blank">mountains</a> and we think we can understand why. Being so close to the wild, he can probably hear the calls of his ancestors, something resembling Jack London’s ‘Call Of The Wild’. Good thing he loves his owner very much, otherwise he probably would have run off to prove himself a worthy alpha of some wolf pack. So when the time came to leave the vacation cabin in the mountains, Zeus had a lot to say! By the looks of it, he did not want to leave, so he proceeds to hoot and howl in hopes of staying longer! Zeus the stubborn husky likes to howl. And cry. And whine. It's his thing. He's a vocal husky and no, he's not abused. He just wants to lay outside in the NEGATIVE 5 degree weather today because he's a husky! He's being kept inside today, with only some occasional time outside. Anyway, he's whining and just making his opinion known. And sometimes he just won't give up!

Zeus the stubborn husky just needed a little coaxing from foster dog Kiro (8-month-old Alaskan Malamute) and his brother Kaden (Long-haired German Shepherd) to get his lazy butt up and go for a walk. He was just at the vet twice in the last few weeks and his vet diagnosed him as: Lazy. No health issues. Huskies can be a very stubborn breed which is why they are not for everyone!

You cannot decide if he is wolfishly hungry or he is just bored with the packing and wants to get some fresh air. He is ready to start any minute and is not clear at all why his owner, instead of jumping in her shoes and picking the key from the coffee table is so focused on filming them. Zeus recently had surgery on his eye lid (a growth removed). Word is, upon waking up from the anesthesia, he began howling. As his owner got out of her car in the parking lot, she could hear his howling. The vet called and said for her to come and pick him up because he was howling, crying and whining non-stop. Zeus is a stubborn and independent Siberian Husky that is athletic and loves the great outdoors. He is also a notorious escape artist, managing to foil fences, screen doors, garages and other holding devices. He needs a fenced yard that is sunk in the ground to prevent these escapes. And why does he so persistently want to go outside? Is it just to bury his prize or is it just his nature? Zeus simply does not care. He will not give up unless his desire is satisfied. He is playful and light on his feet and requires vigorous exercise like running, hiking and biking every day because he is born to run. And this continuous charade of not letting him go outside only agitates him and intensifies his wish. His exotic, wolf-like appearance makes him appealing and because he likes being active whenever he is outside, he plays with the vigor of a puppy. Without such exercise, Zeus can be massively destructive. This <a href="https://rumble.com/v3juuj-husky-mad-but-wait-until-you-see-what-happens.html" target="_blank">husky</a> has an energy and endurance to spare and the word NO is not in his vocabulary. He makes his owner clearly aware that as long as she does not let him out, he will stand at the back door with the rawhide in his mouth. And what is more, he will go on howling obstinately and does not have any intention of stopping the ear-piercing cry. If his owner can stash prized possession in a vault, ban, safe-deposit box or under a mattress, he can do it too in the <a href="https://rumble.com/v33a52-genius-dad-builds-backyard-luge-course.html" target="_blank">backyard</a> hole. In order to maintain his happiness, the owner finally lets him out but without his toy. Nevertheless, he is equally happy as long as he can run, romp and play outside.

Zeus The Stubborn Husky got sent a nice braided bully bone from his grandma for Christmas and after opening it he wants to take it outside to bury it! Yet again, like with the donut treat he got, he was told NO. Remarkably, Zeus was relatively cooperative in this video and it didn't take 5 minutes of back and forth to convince him to eat his new treat on one of his four beds in the house!

Well, guess what, Zeus is back again with his usual sass. Actually, this time is not usual at all, he is throwing a tantrum unparalleled with anything before. This time Zeus shows that he can be the real king of all drama queens in this world. If it is not like he has imagined then get ready to stuff your ears with ear plugs because of the long, persistent and deafening cry he makes. For whatever reason, Zeus is seen here protesting a treat. His owner is not sure why he does this - she truly think he just likes hearing himself talk, just like some people we all know. After a few rounds of howling better than the wolves themselves, he eventually gives in and takes the treat. Apart from being silly and wilfully resolved to go on shouting, he walks around the room protesting for more. Looking straight at the camera with his piercing blue eyes, we can only love him for being what he is – an incredibly headstrong dog. Zeus is a 7 year-old male that appeared in the Disney Movie "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" when he was 8 weeks old. He and his litter mates were in the scene in the subway station where the <a href="https://rumble.com/v351av-giant-wolf-plops-down-beside-her-but-watch-what-happens-whe.html" target="_blank">wolves</a> are turned into puppies. No wonder he enjoyed being filmed because he is a master of putting on unprecedented act. Despite living only a few hours from the eastern shore, Zeus has never been to the ocean! He's been to lakes and rivers, but never the ocean! He was curious, cautious, and quiet! For once!

Performance anxiety affects everybody differently, and this video of a dog trying to work his way through a lure course at his local Pet Expo is everything. Zeus the husky is all of us in this moment—everyone who knows the feeling of only realizing after the fact what it was you were actually supposed to be doing at that moment when everything was on the line, but you couldn’t quite get your brain to work the way it’s supposed to. Adding to the Zeus the husky’s undoubted mortification is the knowledge that his bro-fur, Kaden, completed the course first and did so with the greatest of ease. Not so for poor Zeus! After repeatedly failing to pay even the slightest attention to the lure that was supposed to guide him through the course—preferring instead to chart his own path (if his frenetic and disorganized leaps back and forth can even be called a path)—Zeus ends of finishing his performance in a spectacular that we don’t want to spoil for you here. So we’ll just say that it’s EPIC, and definitely something you don’t want to miss! Despite their reputation as exemplary service dogs, who can pull sleds across the frozen tundra for miles and miles as part of a pack with perfect discipline, huskies are actually known as being independent minded dogs and notoriously rebellious if they feel they’re being forced into something. We’re guessing that Zeus was ultimately trying to make a point to his humans—something along the lines of, “Pet Expo’s a lot of fun, but I’m not really a ‘lure course’ kind of a <a href="https://rumble.com/v3488i-crow-and-dog-playing-with-pingpongball.html" target="_blank">dog</a>.” It’s an advisory his human guardians would be wise to take heed of the next time they decide to try to show Zeus off under public scrutiny. Oh well! Zeus may not have a big future ahead of him as a performance dog at Pet Expo, but we’re pretty sure that he still has many years left to enjoy as the adored and pampered canine member of a loving <a href="https://rumble.com/v6vslz-otto-bulldog-skater-fun-evening-human-tunnel.html" target="_blank">human</a> family—one that hopefully understands him a little better now. You’re not just going to want to watch this video (and it’s absolutely unforgettable conclusion!). While up in Lake Placid, NY on vacation, Zeus finds a pile of "snow" (really ice shavings from the ice rink) in the summer and he just goes nuts! Zeus the husky is on vacation in the Adirondacks in July and has come across a little snow. Outside the Olympic Center is shaved "snow" from the ice rink. Watch as Zeus can't help but jump, roll, and even eat the lovely snow!
