Second dive at the Abrolhos and the water keeps getting better, this is the last dive we'll get to do before a full week of rough conditions so we need to stock up on seafood to see us through. We end up with a couple of Big coral trout and plenty of crayfish. Spearfishing is almost too easy with this many fish around :) So many fish around and the coral is amazing.

The weather was coming up in Coral bay so we decided to head in where it was more sheltered. To our surprise we noticed we were being pursued by large predatory fish app on further inspection we found we had a bait ball of small fish under the boat seeking shelter. We had never seen anything like it before and thought it was worth recording. I hope you enjoy the video.

Managed to get some great weather and took the opportunity to do some trolling on the ocean side of Bernier Island off Shark Bay. Caught some awesome fish, Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo.

A quick cook up between dives. It has been hard adjusting to living at sea as well as scheduling time for diving, fishing and odd jobs around the yacht. We eat some whole herring and a few birds get in on the action as well. BIRD= Flesh footed shearwater

Welcome to Long Island in the Walabi group of Islands in the Abrolhos. This Island is where the mutineers of the Batavia were executed and is also home to a variety of wildlife. SEALIONS!!!! being arguably the GREATEST sea creature ...convince me I'm wrong :) haha

The weather is getting bad and we need to keep heading north, so we've left the Abrolhos Islands and tucked into lucky bay

Life Over Longevity- Episode 02 We are 10 miles west of Lancelin, in Western Australia, exploring a huge oil rig which sunk and was lost whilst towing it through a storm. The oil rig is now home to an amazing variety of fish and corals including some BIG sharks!!! The rig is a deep dive, 40m to the bottom and 26m deep at the highest point, it is really a dive for experienced divers. Great dive I would highly recommend it, however dive within your experience and qualifications :)

We could see heaps of fish around the boat and occasionally heard a strange sound, we though fish were hitting the bottom of the boat. We put the Insta 360 one X in to get some footage and see what was going on, we were surprised by what we saw!!!

We got on to some huge, meaty blue swimmer crabs while fishing in shark bay Western Australia. Soooo goood ! ! ! We hope you like the video

We're just near the wailing station north of Coral bay and we've noticed there are HEAPS of squid around. Within about an hour we've caught plenty for a good meal.

We've left Kalbarri and are continuing our journey north, next stop Shark Bay. We travel all day and all night and see dolphins, cliffs and even a whale. We never expected to be met with such thick fog on the morning of our arrival

The weather was absolutely perfect and the freezer was full, so it was the perfect opportunity to check out the Batavia shipwreck. The Batavia is one of many ship wrecks around the Abrolhos Islands and arguably the most famous. There are HEAPS!!! of fish and corral covers several anchors and cannons Music by- Endemic Sound

We could see heaps of fish around the boat and occasionally heard a loud bang. We put the Insta 360 one X in to get some footage and see what was going on, we were surprised by what we saw!!!

We're in Shark Bay and it's time to explore, we've found a nice sheltered bay and on our way to the beach we've already found some clams. We spend the rest of the afternoon and some of the night collecting a seafood banquette in the shallow waters and mudflats exposed by the low tide.

In this video we have stopped at a remote reef on our way to the Abrolhos Islands from Jurien bay, off the coast of Western Australia. We stop for some fishing and catch our first pink snapper followed by a couple of BIG Spanish Mackerel. We also got to see some awesome scenery including a huge pod of dolphins.

The weather is perfect so we head outside of shark bay to the ocean side of Bernier Island. Immediately it was evident we made the right decision!! Schools of bait fish everywhere, big splashes and birds diving. Almost as soon as the rod is in the water, we're fighting our first tuna. We hope you enjoy the video

Episode 20 On the way to Coral Bay from Bernier Island we found what we thought was a big bait ball with heaps of action around. When we got there heaps of sharks surrounded the boat and we noticed a few large cobia in the group. Just what we were hoping to catch!

We were spearfishing in fairly deep water with a bit of current. This was one of our more sharky experiences, it was a bit un nerving because it seemed like two or three would purposefully test us and come close in front while another would disappear and suddenly re appear behind us. ......Also it was just the two of us in the middle of no where :/

After a long week of fixing problems and learning the ropes of sailing we finally get a chance to get in the water for a free dive. We manage to catch a couple of size crayfish and ,paired with some squid from the night before, we make our first seafood meal at the beginning of our long adventure.

We have left lucky bay and raced up the coast to a small town, Kalbarri to avoid some more bad weather and re-supply

We are taking a break from fishing and spearfishing. We have picked up a mooring in a protected area, anemone rock, and are going to check it out practice some 20m breath holds. If you get a chance check out the abrolhos islands in western Australia

Episode 21 First day in Coral Bay so we decided to jump in the water and see what was around. So much variety, sharks, turtles, fish, even a large manta ray. Definitely a great spot to check out if you get the chance.

After filling the freezer with seafood we head out to the easter group of the Abrolhos islands to find a safe and comfortable place to bunker down for the next week of bad weather
