My grandmother has Alzheimer's. This year, at her 85th Birthday party, she wanted to thank everyone and did so by yodeling.

Birthdays are a great occasion to celebrate the passage of the precious gift called life. We should be grateful that we have made it through another year and we shouldn’t take it for granted. Because some people, due to a debilitating illness, can’t remember their age. Such a terrifying illness is Alzheimer and <a href="https://rumble.com/v4l0z5-adorable-boy-serenades-his-great-grandmother-for-her-birthday.html" target="_blank">this super granny</a> suffers from it. It really took a toll on her and yet she feels overjoyed when it is time to celebrate her birthday. She is turning 85 this year and we see how she shares a heartwarming moment for the camera during the celebration party. She may not remember her exact age but her face tells a story of happiness and excitement. While this grandma is holding the birthday card in her hands another female voice is finishing reading by saying ‘Happy <a href="https://rumble.com/v4l0z5-adorable-boy-serenades-his-great-grandmother-for-her-birthday.html" target="_blank">birthday</a>, Love, Pat and Roy’. Her reaction is honest and genuine and she keeps repeating ‘Thank you, thank you’. I really wanted that’, which makes everybody else gathered around her bursts out laughing. When asked how old is she, she gets a little bit confused asking back what was the question to which she answers self-confidently 84. Questions apparently make her feel puzzled so when the others say no, she mistakes her age adding ten years more to the real one. Being agile and strong like she is, this granny will certainly make to one hundred. As the others say - she is just a girl. Well, we wish this girl to spend her life in peace and well-being.

My mom lives on the other side of the country and comes to visit once a year. Our Quaker parrot, Charlie, LOVES his grandma! From the minute she walked through our door, Charlie wouldn't shut up until she went over to his cage to talk to him. He goes crazy when she sings to him lol. It cracks us up!
