An Update with trucker Chris Barber from the Justice Centre
Saskatchewan trucker Chris Barber shares an update about his ongoing criminal cases, funded by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, with his legal counsel, James Manson, and Ontario trucker, Harold Jonker.
To donate directly to Chris' defence, head to https://jccf.kindful.com/ and select "Truckers' Legal Defence" from the drop-down menu.
Chris Barber is a hard-working Canadian trucker who simply wanted to do his job – delivering food to Canadians. However, he felt compelled to stand up against mandates that forced Canadians including other hard-working truckers to be vaccinated against their will or lose their livelihoods. He didn’t have a criminal record and he had no intention of breaking any laws by driving to Ottawa to peacefully protest. He drove to the nation’s capital with a convoy of like-minded truckers to participate in a legal and legitimate protest that was to become one of the most famous peaceful protest movements in the world.

JUSTICE MATTERS - Tamara Lich, Canada's Political Prisoner
On March 7, 2022, Ontario Superior Court Justice John M. Johnston released Tamara Lich from jail, in accordance with her Charter right not to be denied bail without just cause. While upholding one of her Charter rights, this judge also violated Tamara Lich's Charter freedoms of expression, association and peaceful assembly through the following bail conditions:
"You are not to log on to social media or post any messages on social media. ... You are not to allow anyone else to post messages on Social Media on your behalf or indicate your approval for any future protests so long as this release order is in place. ... You are not to verbally, or in writing, financially, or by any other means, support anything related to the Freedom Convoy."

The Canada Convoy: Trucking for Freedom
Justice Matters with John Carpay - the Canada Convoy: Trucking for Freedom. "We are now 23 months into 'two weeks to flatten the curve'. We lost our freedom of association, we lost our religious freedom, we lost our peaceful assembly, we lost our right to bodily autonomy when governments made vaccines effectively mandatory. We lost our mobility rights. Medical doctors have lost their freedom of expression, it is effectively illegal for doctors to question the government narrative. We want to thank all the truckers and Canadians who have stood up for freedom."
