We were up and on the trail before the chickens awoke. Wi did see a rabbit on the trail, didn't notice any eyes watching us.

I have been making musket caps from soda can aluminum as well as reloading commercial hat type musket caps. The reloads are a total success but those of soda can aluminum are too weak. They blow out the back and side without sending enough spark down the ignition channel. After I returned home, I tried one with double thickness of aluminum and it also blew out the back and side. I think I need heavier gauge aluminum. While out there, I put a round through my Investarms Hawken, a few rounds through a couple Uberti 1847 Walkers and shot my Interarms Virginian Dragoon .45 Long Colt loaded with black powder and .454 diameter balls.

I've tried about everything on youtube for making percussion caps for my 1861 Springfield. Roll caps, star punched roll caps, I couldn't find a source for the 8-ring caps, with black powder, with Pyrodex,.... One flash that I would call a success but most attempts plugged my nipple,,, solid! I went back to the Prime-All that I had in stock, capped with a simple disk of cigarette paper. I think I have reliable caps after snapping a few. Out to the range today for a real test.

I should have spent more time recording all the neat cars but spent most of my time with special people.

This repeater will be relocated to a mountain ridge with the antenna mounted on a 5 Foot square steel pan when I am convinced that the solar panels will maintain the battery well enough to supply power through the night.

There were a couple more Gen 1 Camaros but my camera locked up.

Seven of the club members met to drive to the Flaming Acres Car show. It's neat to see a string of camaros lined up on the road. People noticed.

There are Blue Heelers and there are Red Heelers. They are the same breed, just a different color. They are Heelers. Flint Buddy is a Red Blue Heeler, a blend..

I have been seeing this herd for about a week. At one time, I counted 14 and about a third were colts. Because of the wide angle lens, unless you cast this video to a large screen HDTV, you may have a difficult time picking them out.

The heck with YouTube and copyright infringement! I like tunes but lose the signal from SiriusXM when I'm among the rocks. I am just running with the cruise control set on the posted speed limit which to Oregon drivers is apparently optional and Washington drivers think it is just a suggestion.

A group of five Camaro Club of Idaho members got together for a cruise to Stanley from Eagle, Idaho. After lunch, we continued to the Redfish Lake Camping Area.

I probably won't edit this video very much. I spent hours on the first half and didn't save that many minutes.

Mostly unedited video. I will be clipping it to primarily show the entire group stretched out ahead of me. The wide angle lens makes anything more than a couple car lengths ahead pretty small. There were only 5 Camaros total, more is always better.

I made a pass through Garden Valley, Idaho with a Camaro Club and I know it is a special place for a special person. Pedal is not to the metal, just keeping up with the ladies.

I mounted a Retevis RT97 halfway up a mountain with a Jackery Explorer 1000 Solar Generator and a Magnetic Mount GMRS Antenna on a scrap metal ground plane and relayed clear signals from more than 20 miles away. The receiver was a Baofeng 5W UV-5R in my home connected to a BTech Amp-U25 30-40W Digital Amplifier and a Little Will Magnetic Mount Antenna recorded by a Liquid Image LIC EGO 727 Video Camera.
