Sometimes you just need to spread your wings and... run? This falcon is a little different than most. Usually what would happen is that the caretaker would stick out their arm and the falcon would spread its wings and fly towards its caretaker, landing on their arm. This one does it a little differently. It spreads its wings and runs. Will it ever catch up to its caretaker? We see the unusual duo at the entrance of an amusement park, by the sound of it. The caretaker takes off with a slow run ahead of the bird and it just jumps on after him. You would think that the falcon would bounce once or twice and then take off flying, but nope. It seems the bird of prey would much rather skip and run towards him human companion, then fly off and land on his shoulder or something; you know, like in the movies! Whatever made that falcon decide to go on foot, rather than on wings, makes this clip so adorable and heartwarming, for a moment there we all wished we would have a falcon at home, to run after us like a pup. But then, who would catch him all those mice? How hilarious is this? Check out this falcon as it runs to its caretaker instead of flying. Too funny!

Don’t you just hate it when you get a nice looking box, it looks like it will fit all your precious items, but it has this awkward label on it and the ink is gross and you just want to rip it off? You rub it and scratch it, but try as you might, it just won’t budge? Ugh! This 2-month-old Dachshund is desperately trying to get the print scratched off of the cardboard box, but of course it isn't working! She keeps licking it, trying to peel it off. The she tries using her baby teeth to rip it off. That label is so frustrating. Don’t do it kid, you’ll break your canine! Well, you can't say she didn't try! How cute!

The way he moves his paws in his sleep, it would appear that this Bernese Mountain Dog is dreaming of joining the circus. Too funny! This precious Bernese Mountain Dog has his well deserved afternoon nap, and while he preciously sleeps, he starts moving his paws in the cutest possible way! It surely seems as if he's having a dream, most certainly a vivid one! Maybe he's dreaming that he's running with his best friend in the nearest field, or maybe mommy takes him for a stroll? Crows can be such a nuisance sometimes. The come on our window, cawing loudly and incessantly, sometimes they knock on the glass and even steal things. It’s like they are taunting us! No wonder our hero here wasn’t having it! For whatever reason, this chimpanzee has a real problem with a crow landing on his rope. He watches that mean black bird land on his rope and then rushes to chase the crow away! “And stay out!” Baby chimps are like little children in more ways than one can imagine! One professor of biological anthropology at Harvard has gathered rocks from Uganda that little chimps over there have used as a substitute for - you will never guess this - dolls! So maybe this little guys just wanted a pet?

When it's a scorcher of a day outside, we all look for different ways to cool down. Some turn to the pool, while others turn on the air conditioning. Well for these elephants, they don't really have either, so they make due with what they got. On a very hot day at the Safaripark Beekse Bergen, zookeepers use a garden hose to cool down some of the animals. This baby elephant absolutely loves it! This baby elephant just doesn't want to leave the stream of the hose! You can see it back up and turn around to get all of itself wet to cool down in this hot weather. How adorable is that? Zookeepers come out to cool off the elephants on a hot summer day. This one in particular enjoys it so much, that it decides to lay down so that he can fully enjoy the leisure of this cold shower. How cute is that?! Even though they are tropical animals, elephants actually can’t stand the heat of the sun. When they are not under the cover of thick trees in the wild, they go for a swim or spray themselves with water. To be completely safe from the sun’s harmful rays, elephants are known to “bathe” in mud, which forms a crust on their skin that acts as a sunscreen. We’re not sure about the level of SPF in mud, but sure seems to work for the gentle giants.

Elephants might be tropical animals, but that does not mean that they enjoy the heat. In the wild, elephants find numerous ways to cool off from the sun; they spray themselves with water or go for a swim. When they have to cross great open plains, they literally bathe in mud, which acts as a sunscreen to their sensitive skin. Elephants bred in captivity have the constant support of caretakers to provide them with all the comfort they possibly can. This baby elephant wanted to cool off, so the caretakers took to the hose to spray him down! Seeing how it’s scorching hot right now, we really could use a hose down right about now! How we envy that little elephant…

Pom the Dachshund is a huge fan of socks, preferably ones that already have been worn by her owners. Every evening when someone goes into the shower, she is waiting next to the laundry bin until the socks come off. As soon as it's thrown into the bin, she takes a sock out and runs off, making sure that no one will get her precious treasure!

It looks like this dog is completely done with her walk, forcing her owner to pull her lifeless body with the leash. Hilarious!

Dog reactions to citrus fruits are always quite humorous, and this Dachshund's response is no exception! Although she thinks the piece of lime is quite irresistible, she also really doesn't like the scent of the fruit. You can see her observing in the distance, but when coming closer she starts to jump and turn and even throws out a little bark!

This extremely chill Dachshund is really living the good life, enjoying the warm sunshine and fighting to keep her eyes open while she wags her tail out of joy. She even starts to make noises out of excitement before she lays her head to rest!

The owner fooled this Dachshund by pretending he hid a cookie underneath his leg, and the dog is doing his utmost to get it. As you may already know, Dachshunds were bred to get vermin out of underground holes. They would go in, grab the animal, and then the farmer would pull their Doxie, along with his prey, out of the hole. It’s why they have a long, low body and huge claws. Those big nails of theirs are made for digging through the dirt, so you shouldn’t be surprised if your Doxie just starts digging on other objects as well when there is something that they desperately want (in this case, the cookie). The longer it takes, she even tries to use her mouth to get there!

Winter is entering the Netherlands, and on the 10th of December the first snow fell in Eindhoven. This little Dachshund has never seen snow before in her life, so it was quite an experience for her when she got outside for the first time! Here you can see her running around, trying to eat the snow (never eat yellow snow), and lots of head shakes to get the snowflakes of her snout and body!

Pom the Dachshund just got a new stuffed chameleon toy, and she is really excited about it!

This Dachshund encounters a common cockchafer for the first time and decides to take a closer look at that big beetle. Quite soon she finds out that coming too close isn't a really good idea; as soon as she touches it with her snout the beetle will grab on, causing her to shake her head in distress to get it off of her as soon as possible! As she keeps a safe distance, she jumps up and down and back and forth in all her curiosity and excitement. At some point she even tries to tap the cockchafer with her short little paws!
