This day-old baby goat tries out some new moves!

You don't see this every day. Watch how their tails wag as these baby goats feed! Goats wiggle their tails just like dogs do, to show excitement or content. If a baby goat is unable to nurse from the start, it is very important that the farmer shows it the way, either by physically guiding it to its mother’s teat or by milking the goat and feeding the baby with the milk. It is not all too uncommon for farmers to feed their baby goats, also called kids, with a bottle. A lot of factors come into play for this - either the kids are weak or confused from the start, or the mother’s milk is kept for the production of goat milk products. Baby goats are precious for farmers, so they do their very best to preserve them to grow strong and healthy. These baby goats seem to be enjoying their milk very much as they continue to wiggle their tails back and fourth, so funny! You could say that a baby’s first words are a pretty big deal. Hearing your mini me blurt out their first word means that they’ve started their journey toward talking and it’s huge! Usually it’s stuff like “yes”, “no”, “mama” or, the easier variety - “dada”. This little guy’s parents will surely be ecstatic to see how well he is doing, saying words at such a young age! Well done, young man! But this little fella steals the show when Grandma records him to send a greeting to Mommy. She encourages him to say “Hello, Mom” and he clearly whispers “Hello”. It’s such a genuine moment and it is so amazing to think that babies learn to talk by observing and imitating, even though they haven’t the slightest about what is it they’re trying to do!
