Passenger vehicles were mostly imported into Latvia from the United States, less so from Europe. Therefore the Museum’s exposition on the 1920s primarily exhibits vehicles from overseas – the simple, cheap Chevrolet and Ford, the middle class Buick, as well as some automobiles manufactured in Europe – Renault and Fiat.

At the end of the horrors of the First World War, the number of cars in invader-raided Latvia was quite insignificant - only six cars were operated among civilians. In the mid 20s during the revival of the global, and Latvian, economy, car quantities significantly increased, and in the early 1930s the total amount of automobiles in the country almost reached four thousand. The backyard zoo was founded in 2013. We offer you to spend a great day with your family and friends visiting a backyard zoo very close to Riga. There are many different ornamental birds, turkeys, ducks, pheasants, peacocks, among them live guinea pigs and rabbits. Among the four-legged friends here you can meet Dutch dwarf goats, Haidsnuke sheep, Shetland ponies, donkeys, squirrels, wallabies and raccoon boar Barney. The zoo helps protect the flock of geese and the Peruvian dwarf pig - Pigis. Since 2015, deer and the world's oldest deer Munžaks have also lived in Deer.

Karsavas Orthodox church – a gorgeous church built in Russian traditions of wooden architecture, founded in 1911 by Latvian missionary pastor P. Liepiņš and lawyer G. Timjan. Church Construction Committee of Russia collected the necessary financial resources and in a year and a half managed to collect 25 thousand rubles. These funds were used in 1912 on land expropriated Malnava manor house built for the pastor. 1917.-1918. Kārsavas pastor A. Vīckops transformed the parsonage of the church and it was consecrated in honor of St. Eufrosinia. In 1985 the church was reconstructed in style of Russian wooden architecture of sacred traditions. Work was carried out in Pskov, by Moscow and Riga craftsmen.
