After having beautiful warm spring weather early in the year and lasting for quite a while, Winter came back. It's been snowing up on the mountains for days, so it's been quite cold. But then the snow came down into our valley too. At times it was so heavy, all you could see was white. The kitties enjoyed the show. Especially the young siblings Hero and Lisa, whom you can see in the video (Hero is the 3 legged tabby boy and Lisa is the black kitty. Sonic and Samantha were sleeping when I took the videos. Sonic has been unwell for months, and is now finally interested in normal kitty things again. It means a lot to us that he was interested to go out onto the balcony again. He's also interested in playing a little, and investigates everything curiously, sits on the window to watch the birds and purrs a lot. It's been a long time since he did any of that, because he felt so weak. But I wasn't giving up on him, since he didn't have a life threatening disease or pain. Our Vet found out what was going on with him, and I have been feeding him every hour with kitten formula and gave him water, carried him to the kitty litter and cared for him day and night to help him get back on his paws. Slowly but surely, he's gaining strength and feeling better. We still have a long way ahead in terms of weight, but we'll get there. After a difficult couple of weeks, Sonic is finally sleeping deeply and peacefully and he's snoring again. Sonic has always been snoring... Little Lisa came by as well and checked out what I was doing.
