Illegal immigrants are not able to get driver's licenses and State IDs in States such TX, PA or AZ — but they can get Social Security Cards (for work authorization permits), then they can register to vote. Speaker #MikeJohnson used the excuse of having a slim majority in the House as his reason for putting forth his Trans-Omnibus spending bill on the floor of the House for a vote, with his talking point being, "WE ALL HAVE TO STAND TOGETHER" — meaning, all the Republicans. The #J6 rally at the Ellipse in D.C. started at about 8 am and lasted until PresidentTrump finished his speech at 1:11 pm. It had been a great day with music, videos and speeches. Afterwards, there was a peaceful march to the Capitol building to protest the election. Then later in the day about 2:13 pm, anti-Trump instigators dressed as Trump supporters broke in to the Capital building. C-SPAN reported the breach at 2:19 pm, presumably when Trump was in the White House watching on TV. No reports of violence was made until much later, when Trump began tweeting to respect law enforcement. Somebody didn't want Republicans objecting to the electoral vote count, so they started a riot just as Rep. Paul Gosar from Arizona (with Senator Ted Cruz from Texas) stood up to make an objection before the House and Senate were cleared. Before that. it had been a great day full of love and happiness. The Deep State didn't like that at all!

Bowser also asked people not to counterprotest to minimize potential conflict with the groups on the right. She urged residents “not to engage with demonstrators who come to our city seeking confrontation (including FBI instigators?), and we will do what we must to ensure all who attend remain peaceful,” she said in a statement. (A broken promise to the Capital Police and two Trump protestors who were killed on January 6, 2021 at the Capitol building.) To that end, Bowser said she would set up an emergency operations center, beginning Monday, for federal and local law enforcement to coordinate their response to the demonstrations. In November and December, pro-Trump protesters — including far-right groups the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and others — amassed in the District to protest the election results on two other occasions. Bowser’s statement included a reminder that openly carrying firearms is illegal in the District, and a concealed-carry permit from another state does not permit the holder to carry a weapon in the District. Moreover, federal law bans guns on many of the sites where the protesters plan to gather Wednesday, including Freedom Plaza and the Mall, and D.C. law bans guns within 1,000 feet of a protest. (No Trump supporters were arrested for a firearm violation at the protests.) While Bowser’s suggestion that residents (BLM) stay away from downtown will not be enforced by law enforcement, the city will ban street parking Tuesday through Thursday on some downtown streets, and it will close many streets to cars entirely on Tuesday and Wednesday.
