Gemma Is Ready For A Road Trip!!
She is on the way to the snack store
You can’t mistake a Bulldog for any other breed. The loose skin of the head, furrowed brow, pushed-in nose, small ears, undershot jaw with hanging chops on either side, and the distinctive rolling gait all practically scream “I’m a Bulldog!” The coat, seen in a variety of colors and patterns, is short, smooth, and glossy. Bulldogs can weigh up to 50 pounds, but that won’t stop them from curling up in your lap, or at least trying to. But don’t mistake their easygoing ways for laziness Bulldogs enjoy brisk walks and need regular moderate exercise, along with a careful diet, to stay trim. Summer afternoons are best spent in an air-conditioned room as a Bulldog’s short snout can cause labored breathing in hot and humid weather.

This Big Bull Came For Breakfast
He enjoyed himself throughly and left very pleased!!! They are my favorite animals!!
Sixteen to eighteen hours, or nearly 80% of an elephant's day is spent feeding. Elephants consume grasses, small plants, bushes, fruit, twigs, tree bark, and roots. Nearly 80% of an elephant's day is spent feeding. Tree bark is a favorite food source for elephants
These animals drink water by using their long trunks to suck up about 14 litres of water at a time, then pouring into their mouths. They drink up to 200 litres of water a day, but can go up to four days without water and will use their tusks to dig wells if necessary, an elephant can smell water from 5 km away.
Elephants may spend 12-18 hours a day feeding. Adult elephants can eat between 200-600 pounds of food a day. As herbivores, elephants consume grasses, tree foliage, bark, twigs, and other vegetation daily. Elephants can also drink up to 50 gallons of water a day about as much as a standard bathtub holds.

Greenland - The Coolest Travel Destination In The World
Greenland, an autonomous nation within the Kingdom of Denmark, can truly be said to be a world apart. The population numbers less than 60,000 in this, the most sparsely populated country and the largest non-continental island on earth. Icebergs and glaciers are probably the most famous features of the environment. Colossal fantastic shapes of blue and white float on a sea of deepest azure. The inland ice, kilometers thick, appears static, but cracks and creaks as it shifts and expands.
Green mountains with beautiful wildflowers, breathtaking fjords, precipitous cliffs, hot springs, crystal clear skies, and clean air are all waiting to be discovered. Animals flourish in the sea and on land - seals, whales, polar bears, and reindeer to name but a few. Bearing the climate in mind, transport here is somewhat unusual. There are virtually no roads between towns, so if you want to explore it will be by boat, airplane, sled, or snowmobile.
Justifiably Greenland's most visited area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, this amazing berg-strewn section of coast in Disko Bay is where huge glaciers 'calve', an expression meaning that icebergs break off from the glaciers and float out into the coastal waters. This is a perfect place, if you're lucky enough to get the timing right, to witness this awe-inspiring natural spectacle, which can be watched from land. The immense glacier Sermeq Kujalleq, more than five kilometers wide and one kilometer thick, feeds into the bay. Be prepared for stunning vistas and nature at its most majestic.

Ever Seen A Snake Drinking Water?
Snakes don't lap water like a dog. It's thought that some use capillary action to draw water in via. Some snakes, like the cottonmouth water moccasin of North America live in water part of the time. Though they are found all over the world, snakes do not, however, like the cold. This is because they are cold blooded or ectothermic.
According to Cundall, snakes have a different system to drink water, which involves the skin folds which function like tiny tubes in a sponge, drawing water into the snake's mouth through capillary action. The snakes muscle's action then squeezes the water down its gut. Snakes seldom actually drink, so it is believed.
Snakes can lower their metabolic rates by up to 70 percent, allowing them to survive prolonged periods without food while growing longer nonetheless, a new study shows.
It also actually helps when it’s time to shed. It helps keep the humidity that is important in the terrain. So yes, all of our pet snakes need water, and the simplest and easiest way to apply water to your snakes is to have the basin. And for the quality of the water I think major consensus is, if the water is safe enough for you to drink, it’s good enough for your snake. So do we need bottled water distilled water, which are common questions? I think that answer is no. You need to be careful in urban areas where their are a lot of chemicals in the water, but even still, if it’s safe enough for you to drink it, it is safe enough for this little guy to drink.

Power Of Ocean 🌊
Marine energy or marine power (also sometimes referred to as ocean energy, ocean power, or marine and hydrokinetic energy) refers to the energy carried by ocean waves, tides, salinity, and ocean temperature differences.
The ocean can produce two types of energy: thermal energy from the sun's heat, and mechanical energy from the tides and waves. Oceans cover more than 70% of Earth's surface, making them the world's largest solar collectors.
Wave energy is produced when electricity generators are placed on the surface of the ocean. The energy provided is most often used in desalination plants, power plants and water pumps. Energy output is determined by wave height, wave speed, wavelength, and water density.
A generator converts this mechanical energy into useful electricity. The point absorber consists of a series of long unit, floating on the surface of the water following the movements of the wave. It is this movement that is harnessed and converted to electricity in the point absorber.

Dining At The Coppa Club In London Is A One Of A Kind Experience!
We did this in March, food very cheap, certainly was chilly but loved the experience they didn’t seem well heated but would go back again
We’ve all seen those famous perfect images of the igloos serving as hotel rooms in Iceland, now Londoners and visitors-alike can experience something similar. First tested on the market in 2016, Coppa Club has brought back its igloos that look out onto the Thames, The Shard, City Hall, and Tower Bridge.
Best experienced at night when the magic of the city lights can do their work while diners are wrapped up warm under the furry blankets.

Can You Imagine Getting So Close To Such A Beautiful Creature?
I was in an open safari wagon when we happened to suddenly be surrounded by an enormous herd of these beautiful, wonderful animals. Four people in the wagon.... Driver, tracker, myself and my cousin. We were told to be quiet and make no sudden moves. I quietly took loads of photos, while my cousin was shrinking to the floor of the vehicle. It was a most wonderful experience. We sat there for at least a half hour. Watching the mamas, papas, teenagers, and babies eating from the trees. They were sweet and kind. No problems whatsoever. When the leader was ready, they all followed him thru the savannah and disappeared within five minutes. There must have been a minimum of 40 to 50 of them. What a fantastic experience. Loved it all. Something I'll never forget.

So Excited For Skating Season
Have you ever tried skating like this? Its so amazing.
Switzerland has thousands of lakes and many of them freeze over in winter. But only a few have the ice tested for safety by local authorities and prepared for public use. So it can be tricky to know when and where to go walking and skating on frozen lakes.
Some lakes have official natural ice rinks that regularly open in winter, typically charging an entry fee. These often look more like a commercial rink even though they are made from natural ice.
Other lakes have temporary ad-hoc lake skating when unusually cold temperatures, usually free to use, sometimes with temporary food stands and skate rentals on weekends. I prefer these because the beautiful natural settings

The Tulip Fields In The Netherlands 🌷🌷
Love this! The Netherlands are a land of beauty! What an exciting ride. An amazing colorful flower fields in Holland and april is the wonderful time to travel to this place
History of tulips in Holland. Originally cultivated in the Ottoman Empire (present-day Turkey), tulips were imported into Holland in the sixteenth century. When Carolus Clusius wrote the first major book on tulips in 1592, they became so popular that his garden was raided and bulbs stolen on a regular basis.
Tulips from Holland are world famous. If you want to see the Dutch tulip fields in bloom, you should visit Holland in April and May. This is the same period in which the biggest flower park in the world, Keukenhof, opens its doors. Keukenhof is a park where more than 7 million flower bulbs are planted every year.

What A Crazy Unique Spot In Arizona!!
A beautiful wave in Arizona but if you want to making the trek in this place is not as easy as one might imagine. The Wave is situated on the Utah-Arizona border, halfway between Page, Arizona and Kanab, UT in the Paria Canyon/Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness, and these days it’s even harder to find yourself as one of the lucky ones to draw a permit for the site. Due to the overwhelming popularity of the site, the Bureau of Land Management limited foot traffic to 20 people/day. That’s right – only 20 people are allowed to the site at a time, thus preserving the integrity and beauty of the Wave. In 2014 alone, there were approximately 50,000 applicants, which means 7300 people were allowed access with a 14.6% success rate, and it’s only going to get harder to get in.
The Wave consists of intersecting U-shaped troughs that have been eroded into Navajo Sandstone of Jurassic age. The two major troughs which comprise this rock formation are 62 feet (19 m) wide by 118 feet (36 m) long and 7 feet (2 m) wide by 52 feet (16 m) long. Initially, infrequent runoff eroded these troughs along joints within the Navajo Sandstone. After their formation, the drainage basin, which fed rainwater to these troughs, shrank to the point that the runoff became insufficient to contribute to the cutting of these troughs. As a result, the troughs are now almost exclusively eroded by wind, as indicated by the orientation of erosional steps and risers cut into the sandstone along their steep walls. These erosional steps and risers are oriented relative to the predominant direction of the wind as it is now naturally funneled into and through these troughs

Try Not To Be Afraid Challenge
Would you do this? Now that’s fearless balance wow that’s awesome. This is mesmerizing, or paralyzing because of trying to balance on the top mountain.
Walking uphill works the muscles at the front of your thighs (the quadriceps) as well as your buttock muscles more than walking on level ground. That is good for balancing your leg muscles, so you don't end up overtraining your glutes and hamstrings (the muscles at the back of your thighs) while neglecting your quadriceps.
Walking uphill, you are burning an extra 3 to 5 calories per minute over what you would burn walking on the level. This difference has been measured in metabolic equivalents (MET). Walking at a typical exercise pace on the level rates 4.3 MET while walking uphill rates 5.3 MET for a 5 percent grade and a whopping 8 MET for grades from 6 percent to 15 percent, giving you the same exertion as jogging.
But it still an adventurous trip for people
