My friend's life and me
When your friends life are always go smoothly but you are not. When someone fall into problems, they tend to give up and stay on their way. Me too, I always felt stress and stuck on my problem for a long time when I got fired. But after a long time stay on exactly this situation, one day I tried to stand on my problem and went out of this mess. How people could escape from their issues.
Try to have an optimum mix of realism and optimism. Pat yourself when you deserve it. Scold yourself when you don't. Tell yourself that no one is going to come to fix your problems and promise yourself that you will try. The point to note is that you can't and shouldn't escape from life's problems. What you could do is to not let them take control over you. It may sound disheartening that when you feel things are going bad, they may get worse.
That doesn't mean they will not get better. Don't drown yourself in pessimism. I know it's easier said than done but try thinking about it rationally. When something is bothering you, ask yourself what can be done about it. If you can do something about it, do it.
If you can't, then worrying about is completely fruitless. The moment you realise that it's not external factors that dominate your mind and that it's you who lets it take control over you, you can start pushing yourself and shielding your mind against such factors. Try to have an optimum mix of realism and optimism. Pat yourself when you deserve it. Scold yourself when you don't.

This PRANK is incredible for Halloween!
You actually can be scared to death, but the chances depend on how healthy your heart is. When you experience fear, the natural fight or flight response kicks in, triggering the release of of adrenaline. Everyone should know a stock of ways to easily spook someone. In growing up, you'll probably be victim to some sort of scaring prank. It's good to know a few yourself, so you'll be prepared if you ever need to retaliate. It's also acceptable to spook people on certain holidays like, April Fool's Day and Halloween. Have fun and don't get too carried away in your exploits. Waiting somewhere and jumping out to scare someone all relies on what you know about the person you're scaring. Know their schedule and their routine. This can save you time in waiting for the right moment to pop out. Find a closet, preferably one that lots of people open, and jump out of it. Hold something like a can of soup or dress up in huge coats. This only works for inward-opening doors. Hide behind someones door, and when they close it, jump out and scream something.

Does the news cycle make you depressed? Are you exhausted from following the cesspit that is current events?
The "What the Fluff?" challenge is the most pure thing on the internet right now — yes, the world is a bleak, terrible place but at least there are something interesting out there. For the challenge, pet owners confuse their furry children by holding up a blanket to hide, then dropping it and running away. The pets are left wondering "what the fluff?" as they stare at the space their owners once stood.

[Prank Corner] These PRANKS are terrifying
It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt...then it just gets funnier. Practical joke involving completely blocking someone's doorway with phone books. A practical joke, or prank, is a mischievous trick played on someone, generally causing the victim to experience embarrassment, perplexity, confusion, or discomfort. A person who performs a practical joke is called a "practical joker". Other terms for practical jokes include gag, jape, or shenanigan. Practical jokes differ from confidence tricks or hoaxes in that the victim finds out, or is let in on the joke, rather than being talked into handing over money or other valuables. Practical jokes are generally lighthearted and without lasting impact; they aim to make the victim feel humbled or foolish, but not victimized or humiliated. Thus most practical jokes are affectionate gestures of humour and designed to encourage laughter. However, practical jokes performed with cruelty can constitute bullying, whose intent is to harass or exclude rather than reinforce social bonds through ritual humbling. Some countries in Western culture traditionally emphasize the carrying out of practical jokes on April Fools' Day.

This guy has a pet alpaca and it looks like absolute chaos
Adorable, docile and soft, alpacas are prized as pets and cattle around the world. There are no wild alpacas. Alpacas are domesticated versions of vicuñas, South American ruminants that live high in the Andes. Alpacas are related to llamas, which are domesticated versions of another wild Andean ruminant, the guanaco. While llamas are used as pack animals, alpacas are raised mainly for their soft wool. Guanacos and vicuñas are found throughout the Andes Mountains. They are descended from camelids that developed in North America and migrated to South America 3 million years ago, according to Phil Switzer, an alpaca breeder based in Colorado. These animals evolved into guanacos and vicuñas, and about 6,000 years ago, people in the Andes began to domesticate them. There are two breeds of alpaca, the Huacaya and the Suri. Huacaya alpacas are more common, according to Switzer. The main difference between the breeds is the length and fineness of the wool-like fiber, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The Suri have very long fibers ("silky dreadlocks," according to Alpaca Ventures), while the Huacaya have a more compact "crimpy" fleece, with shorter fibers.

This Emperor Gum Moth is actually beautiful
This is the beautiful moment.
The Emperor Gum Moth glues its eggs onto eucalypt leaves, which the large green caterpillars eat when they emerge. The caterpillars are covered in protective spines and build a tough cocoon in which to pupate. They may reinforce this cocoon with bark and remain inside it for one or more years depending on environmental conditions. The adults emerge in summer. The life span of adult Emperor Gum Moths is limited to only a couple of weeks because they are unable to feed. They must rely solely on the energy consumed as caterpillars. When the caterpillar is fully mature it spins a dark brown silken cocoon on a branch which usually has a leaf to protect it with. When spinning is complete, the caterpillar sheds its final skin and takes the form of its pupal life stage. Within a day of spinning completion, the cocoon sets to a hard waterproof shell with a rough exterior and a smooth interior wall. Air holes can be seen along the side of the cocoon indicating that the cocoon is probably otherwise airtight. The moth usually emerges from the cocoon the following year (in spring or early Summer) but depending on weather conditions can stay in the cocoon from anywhere between two and five years.
When the metamorphosis is complete, the adult moth regurgitates a fluid to soften the tough cocoon and then cuts a hole using sharp hooks on the base of each forewing. The effort to release itself from the cocoon is vital for its wings to expand and dry after emerging. Pupae cut from the cocoon will hatch, but the moths' wings will never expand.
The emperor gum moth does not feed after it emerges from the cocoon, relying solely on the energy it stored as a caterpillar. Their adult life span is limited to a couple of weeks in which they mate, lay eggs and die. The moths, like the caterpillars, are very striking in appearance. The emperor gum moth is a very large moth, having a wingspan of 120 to 150 mm. Females are generally smaller than males. The furless wings and body are multi-colored, but are in overall tones of pale reddish/brown. The wings are decorated with four prominent 'eyes' and various other markings in a symmetrical formation. The antennae of the males are feathery, while the females' are thinner and with fewer hairs.

This little guy clearly isn't a fan of lighters
Watch till the end to see what happen with him...The dog feel excited at the first time when he saw a poker coin but when he came closer, something happen made him ran away. Are dog afraid of lighters?
Probably because your dog hasn't been burnt yet. We are afraid of fire because we know that fire burns. A baby or a dog when experiencing fire for the first time will feel no fear because he or she hasn't made the mental connection between fire and pain.

Everyone needs a German Shepherd in their life
German Shepherd Dogs can stand as high as 26 inches at the shoulder and, when viewed in outline, presents a picture of smooth, graceful curves rather than angles. The natural gait is a free-and-easy trot, but they can turn it up a notch or two and reach great speeds. There are many reasons why German Shepherds stand in the front rank of canine royalty, but experts say their defining attribute is character: loyalty, courage, confidence, the ability to learn commands for many tasks, and the willingness to put their life on the line in defense of loved ones. German Shepherds will be gentle family pets and steadfast guardians, but, the breed standard says, there’s a “certain aloofness that does not lend itself to immediate and indiscriminate friendships.” The first impression of a good German Shepherd Dog is that of a strong, agile, well muscled animal, alert and full of life. It is well balanced, with harmonious development of the forequarter and hindquarter. The dog is longer than tall, deep-bodied, and presents an outline of smooth curves rather than angles. It looks substantial and not spindly, giving the impression, both at rest and in motion, of muscular fitness and nimbleness without any look of clumsiness or soft living. The ideal dog is stamped with a look of quality and nobility – difficult to define, but unmistakable when present. Secondary sex characteristics are strongly marked, and every animal gives a definite impression of masculinity or femininity, according to its sex.

It was too chilly for her curls to air dry, so she settled for a blow out.
That's the most beautiful hair I have ever ever seen on a baby. what a head of hair❤️ but the fact that the babies cant breathe, when there is SO MUCH air...parent should to be careful But she looks cute anyway. Hair and scalp experts at Philip Kingsley have explained that for babies born with a lot of hair, their hair can be rinsed gently with warm water during their first four weeks. As the babies grow older, parents can then incorporate a little bit of shampoo to help clean the hair more efficiently.
When the occasion calls for baby to look his best, parents pull out all the stops. However, before he can sit up on his own, there's not much you can do in terms of styling his hair. By the time he is 8 months old, a baby can usually hold himself in an upright position -- at least long enough to get his hair styled. While the easiest styling method is simply to allow baby's hair to air-dry, sometimes a blow dryer does a better job. You must use caution, however, to prevent burning his delicate skin. Set the dryer on a low heat setting and continuously move the dryer around the head.

When you have a fashion Halloween show at 7 but gotta kill Harry Potter at 8
Voldemort is on the way to kill Harry Potter at 8 but he always has a fashion Halloween show to perform. Later on, he completely forgets his main duty as killing Harry Potter.
You-Know-Who wasn’t going to feature on any magazine covers or sign any glamorous product endorsements – this side of hell freezing over, anyway. But nonetheless it’s fair to admit – however begrudgingly – that the Dark Lord was kind of a celebrity. He was, and is, stupendously famous. Okay, if you prefer: infamous. But despite Lord Voldemort’s high profile, and the grim shadow he cast over the affairs of Hogwarts and its inhabitants for decades, there’s still plenty of trivia and offbeat analysis that many people, even Harry Potter fans, might be unaware of. We’re all too familiar with the taboo around saying ‘Voldemort’ aloud, hence his bountiful selection of nicknames. Remember when Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge refused to say He Who Must Not Be Named’s… er, name… in the office of the Muggle Prime Minister, instead cravenly scrawling it on parchment and sliding it across the desk? Even Lord Voldemort introducing himself wasn’t quite so simple. It’s hardly a massive spoiler to point out that, in the books, ‘I am Lord Voldemort’ is a nifty anagram of the Dark Lord’s prior name, Tom Marvolo Riddle. But have you ever wondered how that works out for fans reading in other languages? ‘I am’, for instance, translates in French to ‘je suis’.

Dog Wearing A Bowtie Tapping It's Toes
Dogs shake or kick their legs when you scratch them because of something known as the scratch reflex. ... The belly rub kick can be compared to the knee-jerk that humans do when the doctor taps just below your knee with a hammer, or how cats automatically raise their bottoms when you scratch the base of their tail.
Some things were simply meant to be together. Peanut butter found its match with jelly. Movies aren’t the same without popcorn. Batman does his best work alongside Robin. And your pup, as it turns out, belongs in a bow tie. Don’t believe us?
Did you ever wish you could talk to your dog? We’re not saying it’ll happen—just that when your dog is wearing a bow tie, anything is possible. Even the most adorable of pups experience a seemingly impossible 50 percent increase in squeal-worthy cuteness when equipped with a bow tie. The bow tie market is incredibly strong. Triple your investment and you’ll immediately triple your returns.

This exactly me for the whole working day!!
Waking up early Monday morning is not always easy. Specially after 2 days off for weekend, it just so tired when people come back to work, this situation happens for all people. It seems that many great men from the past took this proverb seriously. Benjamin Franklin and Theodore Roosevelt would wake up very early in the morning to plan their activities. Ernest Hemingway claimed that he did his best writing early in the morning. But, no matter how bad some people want to have more productive mornings, they simply do not know how to wake up early in the morning. And by early, we mean way earlier than you usually do. Waking up early and getting enough sleep seems like an impossible task. There is always something you would rather do in the evening than go to bed. However, there are several tips for waking up early and becoming an early bird. Here are some ideas to get you started.
The real question is how to get up early and feel good. Unfortunately, it is impossible to feel good if you do not get enough sleep. According to research, an average adult needs seven to nine hours of sleep. While we sleep, we go through five stages of a sleep cycle. The first stage is light sleep, followed by a stage that prepares us for deep sleep. Then comes the stage of deep sleep, and it continues to the fourth stage. After these four stages comes the REM stage. Sleep cycles last for about 90 minutes and it is recommended to get five sleep cycles each night (7.5 hours). If you have to go to bed very late, then it is recommended that you ensure at least three sleep cycles or 4.5 hours.
After you are determined to get enough sleep every night, your next step should be focusing on consistency. If you get enough sleep, but still can’t figure out how to wake up easily in the morning, there is one simple solution: consistency. Human body loves consistency. This means that your body, as well as your mind, will be grateful if you go to bed and wake up every day at the same time. By doing so, hormones and chemicals that our organs release will get used to a regular pattern. If you change that pattern, it will take some time for your body to adapt. This is the reason why people suffer from jet-lag after they change time zones and completely disrupt the pattern organs were used to. Every time you change your sleep pattern, your body will suffer from something that resembles a micro jet-leg. You will have much harder time waking up, you will feel groggy, and you definitely won’t perform your daily tasks as well as you could.
Many people who are researching how to get up early forgot one very important thing – adjusting their night-time routine. After you’ve decided to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, ask yourself the following question: “What do you do before you go to bed?”
Many people tend to collapse into bed immediately after they come home late from work or from a night out on the town. This is a wrong thing to do. What you should do instead is devote an hour every night to doing some calming activity you like right before going to bed. Read a book, take a bath, or listen to some music. You should stay away from screens since they stimulate your brain to stay awake longer. Having a relaxing routine right before going to bed can improve your sleep quality tremendously. All these previously-discussed points are very important for learning how to wake up early. But, they seem too general. Here are some simple techniques for waking up early that will make this task much easier to accomplish.
Following all the tips you’ve learned while researching how to wake up early, but still not being able to do so must be quiet frustrating. One of the ways to beat the sleep demons that urge you to sleep in is by finding motivation. If you are trying to wake up early just for the sake of it, you are very likely to fail. Instead, find a compelling reason to wake up.
Defining your goals and motivation for waking up early, such as being more productive, having breakfast, or going to the gym will make it much easier to actually wake up the moment you hear your alarm ring.

Happy National Cat Day to cat lovers everywhere! 😺
International Cat Day is a full 24 hours of recognition and veneration of one of humanity’s oldest and most beloved pets. The festivities were put together for the first time in 2002 by IFAW, the International Fund for Animal Welfare, among other animal rights groups, to celebrate the most popular pet on the planet.
An estimated 500 million cats are thought to be frolicking in neighbours’ gardens across the world, which means that most every extended family is bound to have an aunt with more kittens than former husbands, whatever the country or climate. And that’s great, because owning a cat has been shown to improve mental health and to relieve stress, anxiety and depression. So when it’s raining cats and dogs outside and you don’t have someone to cuddle with, any black, ginger, Persian, Siamese, Burmese, Bengal, Shorthair, Munchkin, Balinese, RagaMuffin or any old stray cat will do the trick. We live to celebrate cats and help them to find forever homes. Through our large social media & press platform, all year long we're able to partake in the wonderful world of cats and put the plight of cats in shelters, center stage. We educate literally millions all year long but on October 29th....it's party time! We encourage you to spoil your fur baby a little more on National Cat Day than any other day (you don't want them to get too demanding do you?) by buying them a new toy drenched in cat nip, giving them something simply scrumptious to eat, offering LOTS more cuddling and making a donation to your local shelter in their honor. The best way you can celebrate though is to save a life! So if you can....ADOPT....don't shop. Estimates reveal that there are approximately 4 million cats entering shelters every year with 1-2 million being euthanized. Often cats are overlooked and under-appreciated because they don't usually have jobs like dogs. But cats still lower blood pressure, offer unconditional love and companionship, tons of laughs and alert their owner to danger. Many cats have been named heroes. So take that...dogs!

The cutest mail I've ever seen
Imagine a world where our dog could do this instead of trying to murder the postman. If your dog has excess energy and starts to get rid of it through negative behaviors, it may be time to find him a job. Jobs can give dogs purpose and help to break up boredom, which is often at the root of negative behaviors. If you're not sure where to start in giving your dog a job, it might be best to take him to some training classes. A dog trainer can help you to teach your dog some new commands and can even help to teach him about a new job. And if you have a mailman as great as he is, you can be guaranteed that your dog will always have a job, whether there happens to be mail each day or not. When it comes to jobs for dogs, the possibilities are endless. You can teach dogs to carry in the mail or groceries, and can give them "chores" around the house like putting their toys away. There are also many professional jobs that dogs can have, from service dogs to therapy dogs. Lowe's even made a service dog an official employee recently. And then there are bomb-sniffing dogs, sled dogs, and farm dogs.

Stop what you're doing and appreciate this little guy right now
This adorable puppy is courting fondling from his owner. With a tough-on-the-outside, sweet-on-the-inside demeanor, unmistakable bat-shaped ears and distinctive bow-legged gait, the French Bulldog has gained so much popularity that he’s fast becoming the city-dwellers' dog of choice. He's small – under 28 pounds – and has a short, easy-care coat that comes in a variety of colors. He doesn't need a great deal of exercise, fits comfortably into a condo, co-op or apartment, and is far less likely to bark than many small dogs. In fact, other than being a little pugnacious with other dogs, it would be hard to imagine a better dog for city living. The French Bulldog should be on the short list of breeds for anyone who lives without a vast tract of suburban backyard. He's also a good choice for those who might have trouble giving a more active breed ample exercise.
The Frenchie will make you laugh. He's a charming, clever dog with a sense of humor and a stubborn streak. Bred for centuries as a companion, he's very fond of people, and becomes particularly attached to his family. In fact, sometimes he becomes a little too attached, which means he's not the best choice for someone who'll be away long hours every day. It also means he absolutely, positively cannot live in the backyard or garage, but only indoors as a member of the family. That's doubly true given that he, like all brachycephalic, or "flat-faced" breeds, has difficulty regulating his body temperature and needs to live in a climate-controlled environment. The Frenchie can also be a little hard to housetrain and may not be safe with a slow-footed family cat. He also snores, which might seem like a minor problem until you've actually heard the dramatic sounds that can emanate from his small body. For exercise, Frenchies jump on and off the furniture and do the “Frenchie 500” circuit through the house. A short daily walk of 15 to 20 minutes will help to keep them in shape. Schedule walks and outdoor playtime for cool mornings and evenings. Frenchies are sensitive to heat and can quickly succumb to heatstroke. This is not the breed for you if you enjoy hiking or jogging with a dog.

Me as a dog owner
Talking out loud to your dog isn’t as crazy as you might think. Dogs rely on facial expressions and body language to communicate. The better you understand how your dog feels, the better you’ll be able to empathize and bond with them. While staring down a dog in a forceful manner will spark aggression, when a dog gives you long, lingering eye contact, it’s a way of saying “I love you.” A recent study shows that oxytocin, the ‘love chemical,’ goes up in both dogs and humans when they share a kind gaze. Scientific studies prove that dogs can read human emotions through our facial expressions. When a dog loves someone, they often raise their eyebrows—the left one more than the right—so greeting your dog with raised eyebrows and a relaxed smile tells your dog how happy you are to be reunited. Did you know that a dog leaning against you is a sign of love and trust? Leaning against your dog is a great way to add a little love boost to your dog’s day. If you don’t care to let your dog in bed with you, even an afternoon snooze on the couch together will relax both you and your dog.
Shared experiences and training sessions build trust, communication, and partnership. Walks and adventures give plenty of opportunity to work on skills like loose leash walking and recall. Dogs thrive on routine and schedule, so a daily walk with training mixed in help them understand how much you love and care. This one’s a no-brainer. Just touching your dog releases oxytocin in the giver and receiver, so a soothing massage, gentle grooming session, or extended petting time will tell your dog in no uncertain terms how you feel.

Giant Wire Spool Rolls Down A Motorway
“I love to go a-wandering, along the mountain track.
And as I go, I love to sing, my knapsack on my back.”
And so sings a giant spool of cable that thinks it’s a happy wanderer, because when you’re the biggest wheel on the freeway, you couldn’t care less about what all those economy cars think. As the unsinkable Molly Brown might have said as she watched the Titanic sliding into the black abyss, “There’s something you don’t see every day.”
They say everything is bigger in Texas, and they weren’t lying! If that’s some kind of heavy duty copper cable, then it must be many tons of car crushing power. Let’s face it, we are humored and awed at the same time. A giant wheel of cable respects no laws of man. If it wants to roll the wrong way down a freeway, who’s going to stop it? Even “Bigfoot”, the famous monster truck might tuck its tailgate between its rear wheels and run away.
This capture was simply amazing, and we can only imagine the shock of seeing this event for yourself in real life. Where did the roll come from? Well, it happened during the lunch time rush in Houston on Interstate 10, Friday, October 26, 2018. Nobody was injured, thankfully. We don’t know how many nightmares it caused, however.
“I don’t want to die like this,” reported one eye witness, whose Volkswagen Beetle was sideswiped by the lumbering behemoth. Marie Cervantez was driving by a big flatbed rig carrying spools on I-10 when she heard a cable snap. The spool on the
<a href="https://rumble.com/v3tidx-a-truck-driver-makes-the-most-skillful-turn-while-carrying-a-wind-turbine.html" target="_blank">truck</a> hit a bridge, and like a poultry truck losing its chickens, at long last the spool was free!
The spool rolled backward for about a hundred yards, and to its credit, impressively staying mostly in its own lane. Then it came to a stop, with the backed up traffic in its path respectfully giving it a wide berth. We can’t say “amazing” enough to describe the surreal sight, and the complete lack of human s physically harmed by the feral spool.
This was big news in east Texas at the time. No news agency could resist reporting on it. It’s hard to imagine that the driver of the rig carrying the spool, or the company responsible for its transport got away Scott free without at least a fine. It may be funny now, but this could have been much more serious. It’s like some supernatural force—whether above or below, does have a sense of humor. It’s also fun to anthropomorphize the inanimate when objects seem to have a mind of their own, as this spool seems to have. It behaves in much the same way as bulls, horses, or even camels in those videos we see of livestock evading capture on the <a href="https://rumble.com/v4drg1-distracted-driver-slams-highway-barrier.html" target="_blank">highway</a>
.
“Expect the unexpected, Grasshopper,” said Master Po, especially when driving. This is also a good lesson for keeping your eyes on the road, and not on your smartphone.

This tiny kitten drinking milk will melt your heart 😩😍
Cuteness overload!! The milk in this video was cat mile replacement powder, NOT cow milk. Do not give your kitten cow's milk - it can make them sick and give them diarrhea. You can obtain mother's milk replacer for young kittens at many of the pet stores in the area. We recomment KMR. When the kittens are 8 weeks or older, they no longer need the milk but may enjoy it anyway. Mothers usually begin to wean their kittens at about 4 weeks of age. By 8 weeks of age, the kittens are eating solid food. Older kittens who are still with their mothers may occasionally nurse, but this is more for comfort and reassurance than for nutrition. In general, kittens should not be removed from their mothers until they are at least 8 weeks of age. Kittens seperated from their mothers at too young an age require special care. Exceptions to this are feral kittens who need to be removed from the mother no later than 4 weeks of age so that they can be socialized. Keep clean water, fresh water available to your kitten at all times. The bowl should be low enough for the kitten to able to drink from it easily. Some kittens enjoy playing in the water and even tipping over the bowl, so you may need a heavy bowl. Place the bowl when it won't get dirtied by litter etc. You can offer your kitten either dry food, canned food, or both. Be sure to choose food which is designed for kittens. They require a diet which is especially rich in protein, calcium, and other nutrients. Cat food that is for adults is not sufficient. Your young cat will need the enhanced kitten food until he or she is a year old. Young kittens need to eat every few hours, because their tummies are so small. I like to feed them canned food several times a day but also have a bowl of dry food available for them to munch on whenever they wish. Also, Young kittens need to stay warm, but their bodies are too small to retain body heat well. That is why they like to cuddle up together, or curl up under your chin or in your lap to sleep. Kittens younger than about 10 weeks need a warm place to be, such as under an incadescent lamp or in a warm, lined box or kitty bed. This is especially important if you have only one kitten. Kittens will instinctively use the litter box as they get older, but their mother also helps to teach them. Make sure that a litter box with sides low enough for the kittens to get in and out is easily accessible. Use regular litter, not the clumping kind! Small kittens can lick themselves, swallow the clumping litter, and suffer dangerous blockages in their digestive track! Once the kitten is 3 months old, they can safely use the clumping litter. Keep the litter box clean - this encourages the kitten to develop good litter box habits. Kittens will instinctively clean themselves, but the mother helps to develop this behavior too. You can help keep your little kitten by cleaning him or her gently with a damp washrag. Often they need to have their little rear-ends cleaned! This also helps to bond your kitten to you, since you are acting in the role of "mommy". They generally do not need real baths unless they have gotten especially dirty or if they need flea baths. Play time is very important to a kitten. They learn to socialize, develop physical skills, get exercise, and have fun! Kittens have a great time playing with each other - rough housing, stalking, pouncing, chasing, and grooming each other. Young kittens don't know they are hurting you when they grab at or bite your hand, or run up your pant leg, so be patient and forgiving. If you have just one kitten, you will the focus of all of his playmaking attention! You can "train" your kitten not to bite or scratch by giving a high-pitched yelp whenever she gets too enthusiastic. This is how kittens let each other know that the play has gotten too rough. An idea which can help save your arms from scratches is provide what I call a "wrestle buddy" for your kitten - a stuffed toy or old sock filled with soft cloth or socks - that they can be free to sink their little teeth and claws into. Use it to rough house with your kitten and she won't become accustomed to using you as her scratching toy!

Some of the BIGGEST bugs you'll ever see
Stag Beetle The three-inch-long male stag beetle may be most easily recognized by its spiky front antlers -- also known as mandibles -- which are a key part of courtship rituals and wrestling matches; you'd have more to fear from the slightly smaller females, though, which don't have the giant spikes but do have a more fearsome bite. The beetles thrive on dead wood, but its numbers appear to be dwindling: Researchers point to the long maturation time -- 4 years from larvae to adult -- and "the over-zealous tidying of dead timber and stumps," according to ARKive. Goliath Beetle It's hard to get a real sense of how massive the Goliath beetle is from this picture, although the smaller bugs around it can help with the scale. These beetles are just one member of the 30,000-strong scarab family, which has roamed the Earth for 300 million years, and reportedly holds the record for world's heaviest insect: One topped out at 4.5 inches long and 3.5 ounces.
Giant Walking Stick Not all giant bugs are outfitted with terrifyingly sharp jaws and a suit of external armor: The giant walking stick looks practically dainty next to these plus-sized beetles. Or at least, it would look that way if you could spot it -- these insects are some of the most successful hiders in the world, with bodies that very closely match the trees and branches where they live. Female walking sticks are often larger than the males, and have been known to reach as long as 21 inches when measured from toe to toe. You'll find them almost worldwide, in tropical regions and some temperate zones, where they take shelter under plants during the day and feast on leaves at night.
Titan Beetle The Latin name of this beetle pretty much says it all: Titanus giganteus. Not only is it big for a beetle -- it's the most massive member of its species, longhorn beetles, and the longest beetle found so far in the Amazon rainforest -- it's just plain huge, with adults reaching as long as 8 inches in length. That's longer than some Chihuahuas, the Natural History Museum points out, to put this length in perspective. Wikipedia claims that the larvae of the titan beetle have never been seen in person, but that "boreholes thought to be created by titan beetle larvae seem to fit a grub over two inches wide and perhaps as much as one foot long."
Dung Beetle Though the dung beetle doesn't have the size advantage of some of the other beetles and bugs on this list, it overpowers them in one key weigh: It's gifted with Hulk-type strength. While larger animals can carry more weight overall, they can't carry as much proportional weight; the dung beetle can move items with a mass that's 1,141 times heavier than itself. (To borrow an example, this would the equivalent of a human pulling 180,000 pounds, or "six full double-decker buses"). But why are they so strong? Researchers explained that males need to be tough enough to fight off rivals who would try to pull them out of the holes they go into in order to mate with females.
Giant Water Bug It's not unusual for water bugs to be mistaken for cockroaches -- but at four inches long, the giant water bugs are noticeably bigger. These bugs thrive near slow-moving water where they can eat tadpoles and small fish (and survive on crickets when in captivity). The small, round sacs on the back of this male water bug are eggs; the female water bug lays them on his back, secreting a gluey liquid to attach them, and the male carries them until they hatch.
