Rory our Scottish Highland bull was feeling Spring in the air today and decided to see if he could move the Elm tree in the front paddock. I had a moment of "Which way to I dive if he comes for me?"; but he's never been aggressive with most people. You can never be too careful with a bull though, especially when they want to play.

I was trying to get a video of this 1 week old Scottish Highland calf, but she kept hiding behind the post. Behind me I heard heavy breathing. The bull had quietly come right up to me to see what I was doing. I left soon after.

There’s something about a snow day that warms up our hearts. Watching this playful calf having a blast in the snow has brightened our day! Watch as Holly, the one-week-old Scottish Highland and Jersey Cross Heifer, experiences her first outdoor adventure and gets the perfect chance to test them legs out while running in the snow! My daughter was looking after the barn for me this morning. These are two lambs that have to be fed by bottle, so they are very happy to see her. Maple, a Livestock Guardian Dog checks in on the fun too.

Three of the sheep guardian dogs are playing inside. Another dog just passes through but checked by one of the guards. A hand fed lamb seems to think he can take part, but one of the dogs says no, this is dog play.

There’s a very curious and brave ram that resides in Nova Scotia, Canada. Nova Scotia is a small province off the coast of Atlantic Canada that is home to one of the most interesting rams out there. You see, there is something very special about this ram. This fluffy sheep with long fur and split hooves has a desire unlike any other: just to be one of the dogs. So, with that in mind, when he spots a group of guard dogs, he cannot help but walk up and try to ease his way into the ‘conversation, making attempts just to fit in. And by that, we mean playtime. It is funny that in the animal kingdom we have seen some very interesting interspecies animal friendships before, we have seen a lot of unlikely best friend pairings: like a monkey and a lion cub or a dolphin and a seal but this has got to be one of the cutest! Well, these animals are connected, nonetheless. The reaction that follows by the three pups as they invite their furry friend in is classic animal love. This unusual interaction is adorable. At first, the <a href=" https://rumble.com/v3w0bz-ram-steals-food-from-family.html" target="_blank">ram</a> is standing on the outside, getting ready to approach the dogs by making some marks with the hooves in the snow. Then, he steadily advances towards one of the dogs and wait for its reaction. When he realizes that he can have some fun with the dog, he does not want to spare a second anymore and goes closer to it. The dog gets to know his ram friend by sniffing his fur and only when there are no imposing threats on either side, the hopping game may start. And with a jump they move forwards and backwards, the <a href=" https://rumble.com/v4cb13-dog-says-im-sorry.html” target="_blank">dog</a> extending its legs like it wants to say hi. With one final playful bite, the game is over. Filmed in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Maple and Greyson are two of our sheep guardian dogs who live with us as pets but also have the job of protecting our sheep, young cattle and hens from predators. This lamb was not able to drink from his mother so he's being hand fed until he's old enough to eat on his own. He's only brought in from the barn for feeding and will be returned to the barn with the other sheep after he's done and had a bit of a rest by the wood stove.

Three-year-olds Wynter and Greyson play with their mother, Maple, while the sheep they protect from predators are unconcerned about the snarling play-fighting antics of their guard dogs.

Wynter doesn't really want to play at the moment, but Lochie is insistent, trying to get Wynter wound up enough with his strange squeak-growls to lure her outside for a more vigorous playtime.

Maple in the front and especially Wynter in the back seat, are very happy to see Kate after a 3 week university program. Wynter gives her great big dog smiles when she's happy to see someone.

Just how precious is this? This adorable cat loves her dog companion. Sybil is a kitten that was rescued from the side of the road three weeks before this video occured. While watching this video, we can see she has adjusted quite nicely into living with five big white guard dogs of a Maremma/Pyrenees cross. She has an extra special soft spot for her friend Wynter, who is a very gentle dog that shows her caring and loving nature. Sybil isn't afraid of Wynter at all, it looks like she wants to spend as much time as she can with Wynter, so so adorable!

On his way down the field to do some fence repair, this farmer stops to say hi to his favorite cow, Pepper. She's the boss cow but also the most gentle one and likes to be scratched on her neck and under her chin. On the other hand here, you have his charming pup that has been with him for many years. They all share quite the friendship, which is exactly what this video proves!

Rory is one smart animal as he uses an excavator to get at those hard to reach places. Nice work, Rory!

One of the Livestock Guardian Dogs helps out by licking up drops of milk that leak from this orphan lamb as he nurses from a bottle. So precious!

Respect (that's his name), the ram, doesn't get much respect when he tries to get a few morsels from these highland cows after milking. By the time he gets his head in the bucket it's all gone but the smell of molasses. Greyson, one of the Livestock Guardian Dogs, checks in on things.

Maple, of our Livestock Guardian Dogs, always sits close by at milking time in hopes of getting a treat or two of nice warm milk from a Highland/Jersey milk cow named Bonnie. Too much milk is not good for dogs, but a little treat like this of raw milk once in a while is fine.

Lyra, a cute young farm cat, sneaks up on that pesky calendar pencil. No wonder she can't organize her days!

Lochie and Archie are Maremma brothers who enjoy the beautiful sunrise by jumping from bale to bale. Now that's living the good life!

Watch Maple as she gently pulls those sticky burdocks out of her daughter Wynter's tail. A very curious Lochie looks on and wants to take part somehow. Such a loving family!
