October 6 bucks duking it out at the donut food plot. Some serious challenges.

Two bucks have a push and shoving match at the donut shaped food plot.

Twins each handed an ice cream treat which they enjoyed, but Helena thought a bit of diversion tactic would work to get Felicity's cone away from her. Nothing like ice cream aside your face.

Three bucks, two 8's and one 10pt, having a "discussion" about who's boss at the donut food plot. In front of the camera like they know that is center stage for them to perform.

Bobcat makes quick stop to turn back and sniff the stake that other critters lick, such as deer, raccoon, coyotes. No artificial scent added to this plain wood stake used to support a doe decoy.

Drilling through two thicknesses of half-inch steel with half-inch drill bit

First time using steel cutting blade to saw half-inch steel plate for making clamp to remove cutter bar on the JD 513 rotary cutter to change out the oil seal under the gear box.

Gathering around a small planting of radish and turnip seed, bucks were making their presence known between Sept 3rd and Sept 13th. More rattling of antlers for fall preparation of waiting does.

These bucks were jousting for position two weeks prior and appear to still be at it. Short video segments due to low battery power.

Late August finds three bucks, two 8's and a 10, jousting for dominance. Signs of the velvet on the antlers drying and dropping off. Long, but they just kept hanging around in front of the trail camera at the newest food planting.

An 8 and a 10 point in velvet, checking out the licking limb that has been hanging for two years now. Gets regular visits from bucks and from does. Note buck eating wilted walnut leaves on ground next to a food plot of oats and radish tops.

5 bucks gather Aug 3 night for some snacks in food plot and some light sparring. Two small racks with an 8, 10, and 11 pt.

Bucks came around the blind stand again, for a visit and to sniff the decoy stake and licking limb.

Walked across the small food plot that is slowly growing.

This critter I've identified as a badger, from the short legs, and face markings, as well as not having a ringed tail like a raccoon. First I've seen or caught on camera.

Interesting to see the doe (?) going after the decoy stake, and the other 3-4 deer visiting at the same time and gathering around the hanging licking branch (hanging for the third year).
