I was listening to this Zhuang folk song and the British rock band #Queen ~ There was a certain synergy ~ So I mixed them together.. I ran them both into 'CoolEdit' and found that they were both actually already in the same key! Even more than this they seemed to modulate at the same points and had a similar base rhythm.. (this version of Tie Your Mother Down is a kind of 'karaoke/KTV' version I found, - minus my hero Freddie Mercury's main vocal.. apologies Fred.. You're still utterly peerless and irreplaceable.. a true legend.. anyway.. I think you'd approve of this.. A dear friend who comes from Ping Guo told me her grandmother used to sing this very same folk song, and taught it to her, - it's a kind of love song, a call for a husband.. for love, sung by girls from the mountainsides in Guangxi.. how romantic!
