Scuba diver surprises wife with underwater wedding

Dave and Kristy have been married for 25 years and have had a marriage and a life filled with love and adventure. When Dave looked back and realized that he had not proposed in a very exciting way all those years ago, he decided he could do much better. He started scheming about the most romantic and surprising way to propose again and to renew his vows. Kristy loves few things as much as she loves scuba diving and swimming among the ocean life on the coral. There could be no better setting than 60 feet under the waves. Dave smuggled a ring into Belize when they took a trip over Valentine's Day. He arranged for their friends to be the best man and maid of honor. He also planned with the boat captain and dive master to perform the ceremony. Preparation involved making plastic cards with all the important words. Kristy was shocked when the wedding party all gathered around at the bottom on a Valentine's dive. Dave began explaining how he loved Kristy and wanted to propose properly. Kristy said yes and the two are now on their second marriage and a honeymoon that hasn't stopped. And things have finally been set right!

Wedding hero saves the moment bouquet toss goes wrong

Stacey and Scott made all the right choices for their perfect wedding day. The weather was beautiful with sunshine and a warm breeze blowing through the trees. The location, a gorgeous horse farm tucked away in the rolling hills of Southern Ontario countryside, was stunning. The guests, a fun-loving mix of family, friends, and coworkers all had a great time. Only the bride outshone the bridesmaids, all of them looking radiant. The lively and upbeat music kept everyone on their feet after a delicious meal. A beautifully matched couple with a romance like one from a love story, Stacey and Scott are happy and excited for their new life. But something inevitably goes differently from the plan and tests the newlyweds, no matter how well they plan their biggest day ever. Stacey lined up her single friends and sisters for one of the most exciting moments at any wedding, the bouquet toss. The ladies have removed their shoes and let their hair down a little by this point. With the heat, some of the gentlemen have put their jackets and ties away and changed into t-shirts. People have gathered to watch this age old tradition and see which young lady catches the flowers. As expected, Stacey turns her back to the hopefuls and follows the countdown to let the bouquet fly over her shoulder in their direction. What nobody expected is that the bouquet would sail up and become lodged in the chandelier above the crowd. Excitement quickly turned to shock, then laughter with a little confusion about what to do next. The bride can't contain her own laughter as the ladies huddle under the chandelier and gaze upwards. The moment is about to become awkward with no clear solution to the problem. A quick thinking wedding hero in an orange shirt quietly moves in and makes a quick plan with one of the bridesmaids. He hoists her smoothly up over the crowd to the chandelier so she can grab the prize. The ladies cheer and our hero carries the bridesmaid very briefly across the dance floor before setting her down gently and dancing away as if his chivalry was nothing remarkable. The music continues and the dancing resumes without even missing a beat. Our lucky bridesmaid dances happily while holding the bouquet up in victory. The wedding tradition has not been broken. The hero in orange can be seen dancing at the edge of the crowd, but he disappears and finds his way across to the other side of the dance floor out of our sight. With even more smoothness, he dances back into view and across the room, past the bride and meets up with the bridesmaid again. Before the bouquet tossing song has even played out, he takes her hand and spins her around on the floor with a big smile. He's obviously got the moves on the dance floor too and she smiles along with him. You can't help but cheer for him in this moment and wonder if the two even know each other. What could have been an awkward moment while somebody fetched a ladder and made a climb to get the bouquet, actually turned into a funny story that will be told later along with the other happy memories. Quick thinking and gentlemanly action saved the day here. And every wedding could use a hero waiting in the wings to do just that when things don't go according to plan.

Bridesmaid has uninvited wedding guest eating out of her hand

A beautiful destination wedding in Mexico went perfectly, and completely according to plan. The sound of the waves lapping gently against the shore complemented the background music and the sky was a gorgeous blue. The weather was perfect and the vows were emotional. The guests and the wedding party were ecstatic and the couple could not have been happier. But one guest showed up completely uninvited. And he brought a few friends. These were wedding crashers the likes of which none of these guests had ever seen. A large iguana heard the music and the guests arriving at the podium next to the shore and he decided that he wanted to attend the ceremony as well. The guests and the couple were delighted at the sight of him, happily basking on the stones in front of the steps. But it was clear that he was watching and waiting for something to happen. One of the lizards even climbed the stairs and watched the exchange of the vows and the sermon, quietly taking it all in. Nobody could imagine what the iguanas were waiting for until after the vows were exchanged and the champagne was flowing. It was at that time that the rose petals were being tossed about on the ground where the bride would walk down the path. As if the big lizard knew from previous experience that this was coming, he and a few other lizards sprang into action when the petals were tossed. He began hungrily gobbling the flowers up and suddenly the guests all figured out exactly why he had attended. Lizards have a voracious appetite for flower petals and most of the petals around the resort were just out of reach of the iguanas. One of the bridesmaids, clearly an animal lover, was completely charmed by the biggest of the iguanas and she crouched down on the steps to call him over for a treat. She hand fed him the tasty morsels and he walked right up to her as if were completely tame. Perhaps this was not the first time that he had charmed a young lady, or even a bridesmaid. This continued until the lizard had his fill. The guests took pictures of the spectacle and laughed and pointed while all of this went on. Even the bride and groom, as they walked down the steps to sign the register and have their first photos as a married couple taken, did not disturb the lizard. Both were amused by the funny creature and happy to have him take part. For many reasons, this was a day that they would cherish and remember forever and the unexpected guests were a little bonus.
