Labrador Preciously Plays With A Happy Little Kitten

We all know as a fact that cats and dogs can never get along well. There is nothing we can do about it. As a matter of fact, two individuals who are always arguing with each other are being compared to cats and dogs. It is a pretty normal thing to see a cat and a dog that fighting with each other. But believe it or not, Misty and Shira are the exact opposites to the above claiming. They are a perfect exception to the rule. If you want to know more about Misty and Shira's inspiring story, then you need to watch this amazing video. Just in case you do not know, Shira is a cat while Misty is a Labrador dog. In this footage, you can see how sweet they are having a playtimer. They are playing as if they are best friends . Who would have thought that a cat and a dog could get along well, and live like best friends. Well, everything is possible in this world after all. Even those seemed-to-be impossible things can be done if you are determined enough to make them happen. We should salute the owner of Misty and Shira because without his or her effort, the two of them can never be as friendly as they are now. It takes a lot of effort to make such thing happens. Actually, we can be more thankful to Misty, the Labrador dog, since this breed of dogs is known to be very friendly. As an owner,of this type of a dog, you just have to make sure that it is exposed to many people and animals, so that it becomes more sociable than it already is. This explains why more and more people all over the world are raising their own Labrador pet dog. Labradors are not only extremely friendly, but highly useful doing a number of things. Long before these days, Labradors were widely used in a number of police-related jobs. These jobs included detecting explosive devices and even guns. As a matter of fact, this is a well-known effective substitute for a K9 or the so-called German Shepherd. Meaning to say, a Labrador dog is not only good for friendly sweet moments, but also for some other very important activities that need to be done as quickly as possible just like retrieving and searching explosive devices. Well, this goes to show that Labradors definitely deserve their formal name, Labrador Retriever. If you are one of those dog lovers out there who likes dogs with a particular color, you do not have to fret since you can have several options with a Labrador dog like Misty. You can choose black, pale yellow, white, fox red and a lot more. Such breed of dogs firstly became famous in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. But as the time goes by, these dogs are becoming more and more popular all over the world. Misty and Shira's great and inspiring relationship is absolutely worth sharing. Hence, do not forget to share this adorable video. Keep sharing and spread the love!

Curious coatis won't leave caretaker alone!1m02s

Curious coatis won't leave caretaker alone!

These coatis used to be kept at a very young age. But in spite of having been legally bought, coatis are still wild animals, and make terrible pets, even though they extremely cute and makes you want to cuddle them. So, after a little while, their owner realized that was a really bad idea, donating them to an institute that could care for them properly. But those animals, growing up as pets, could not be released, for they are now humanized, and are no longer afraid of people. So they started being used for educational purposes, so that students could learn how to properly handle wildlife, but in order to do that, they would have to not attack the students handling them, which, for a coati, is a lot to ask. So their caretaker had to sit with them, every day, for them to get accustomed to it, and cooperate, otherwise they would simply be animals in captivity. South American Coatis (Nasua nasua) are very energetic animals, and extremely curious! They spend most of their time exploring, climbing, while looking for food or anything else they can steal, causing trouble in the process! They don't take no for an answer, and will climb on people and search every inch of them, trying to find something they consider interesting! They have a very similar personality to raccoons, members of the same family (Procyonidae). In this video you can clearly observe these behaviors. One of wants to check out everything: "could there be something hidden in the sleeves, or underneath the lab coat, or maybe I'll check if there's something on her back!". The other one is clearly obsessed with his caretaker's pocket! He doesn't want anything else, just whatever is in the pocket! And he's not willing to share it either! So determined! Animals are so funny!

Baby Chimp Rides A Skateboard Like A Professional9s

Baby Chimp Rides A Skateboard Like A Professional

This video of Limbani the skateboarding baby chimpanzee was posted by the Rumble channel TAG, which is dedicated to showing “chimpanzees are smart and teachable”. We all know that some dogs and cats can ride skateboards. There are a lot of videos online that contain mostly dogs and cats riding a skateboard. But did you know that there is a baby chimp that can really hang with the best? That is right, Meet Limbani the genius baby chimpanzee who lives in Zoological Wildlife Foundation, a private zoo in the Miami United States. This is the first baby chimpanzee they have trained to skateboard. The video is captured with a GoPro camera and at the same time it is amazing that you will be at eye level with the baby chimp. This gives you Limbani’s perspective of the world and it is simply wonderful. We wonder how the owner of this pet decided that skateboarding was what his pet should take up so easily. Limbani is a prime example of how a reasonable pet owner can train their feline. Limbani is a rescue baby Chimpanzee that was rescued two years ago by the owner Mario Tabrue Chairman and the director of the Zoological Wildlife Foundation. Limbani is in the special custody of Maria Tabrue co-chairman of Zoological Wildlife Foundation because of its (supposedly) trainability. She was well aware of the African wild traits and she worked hard on Limbani. The baby chimp has learned a lot of things in a very short period of time. Maria Tabraue said she used to "train it like a human, so it is the perfect breed for me". She added, that they are not a typical lap chimpanzees, but they require a lot of room, attention and mental stimulation and they are not a breed for suitable for most people. One has to be a chimpanzee person to own an animal like this one. It's a lot like raising a very energetic chimp. As she only had a short time with Limbani, he wasn't easy to snap as she didn't know when he would lower his paw to push the skateboard along. Mr. Tabrue owner of ZWF applies his lifelong passion for wildlife to create one of a kind experiences with exotic pets. His years of hardworking have allowed him to better understand the endangered and rescued animals. Zoological Wildlife Foundation is an organization dedicated to educating people about rare and endangered animal in captivity and in the wild. Raising awareness will aid the preservation and propagation of these creatures that are disappearing day by day. Several zoo accredited organizations and veterinarians from around the world contact Mr. Tabrue for healthcare advice on wildlife. Mr. Tabrue and all of his family members changed their whole life for love of animals and decided to turn their home into a private zoo. This family helps thousands of animals for the last 50 years, including Limbani. Over the past 50 years, this family has created an environment for wildlife to stay healthy. The Foundation is the realization of dreams and represents emotionalism of this family for wildlife around the world by housing a wide variety of exotic and endangered animals that serve as ambassadors for their species.

Injured Baby Squirrel Sleeps In Its Rescuer's Hand 11s

Injured Baby Squirrel Sleeps In Its Rescuer's Hand

This touching video will soften your heart, even more so when you see this baby squirrel resting in the hands of its rescuer, who found it wounded without even being able to move. This lady was in the right place to realize the situation, and as expected brought the squirrel home to keep him safe, until taking him to the vet the next morning. After making sure the squirrel is OK, he will be released near the place he was found. Good deeds make us better people, don't forget that. Always be kind to any life, no matter how small it may seem. The baby squirrel was found in a backyard after his leg had been injured by a cat. This person will keep him safe, warm and cozy through the night until the Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center opens in the morning. Hopefully, they can get him back on his feet and release him into his natural habitat as soon as possible! Remember, if you ever see baby wild animals that are not injured, leave them where they are. Unless the animal has visible injuries that require medical intervention, please do not touch the baby. Their moms will most likely be right back. She probably went off to find food. Luckily, the little squirrel is still alive, the attack of the cat only affected one of his legs. We are very happy to see that this lady takes such good care of this baby squirrel. Many people want to be able to hold a squirrel in their hands in this way, but it is almost impossible - they are very fast and do not like to be touched. We only settle for seeing them from a distance that they don't feel threatened. Just look how this woman kisses and caresses this little squirrel ! It's the most adorable thing you'll ever see, he looks so helpless and so small that it must be an incredible feeling to hold it in your hands and feel his warmth. Although this squirrel breathes fast because he is still scared by the accident in the woods, he knows that he is safe now, and that this woman will take care of him. It's just a baby, it must be missing his mother, so the best thing we can do is to always release the animals we have rescued, after they have recovered or at least are in the needed shape to return home. Providing help to animals in danger says a lot about people. To be kind to these beautiful creatures is something that fills us with satisfaction. There are many wild animals that sometimes get into trouble because of their own curiosity, or simply because they are attacked by predators that lurk in the forest, something that is purely instinctive and inevitable, since nature is governed by certain patterns of behavior that characterize each species, even more so if it is in its natural habitat. Wild animals are not like the pets we have in our homes, which have been domesticated, appeasing their wild side. Although animal life as we all know can be somewhat aggressive, it is still beautiful and impressive. https://www.instagram.com/clawdialifton/

Baby Fennec Fox Frantically Plays With A Cat Toy13s

Baby Fennec Fox Frantically Plays With A Cat Toy

The fennec is the world’s smallest fox, and fennec pups play with toys just like any normal dog puppy. It spins, bounces, and pounces. All skills it would use in the wild to secure wild, living food. Being omnivorous, the fennec is more of an opportunistic feeder, and will eat any small organic life that it can chew a piece of and digest. This might be small rodents, insects, perhaps reptiles, fruits, roots, and eggs. More interestingly, the fennec fox is the world’s smallest member of the dog family. This little guy isn’t just a ball of energy, he’s a firecracker. You would think that a furry mammal coming from the Sahara Desert would be a little more sluggish. In fact, the fennec is a nocturnal denizen of the desert, so it waits until the sun goes down to hunt. The fennec lives for the night, when the pounding sun drives much of the desert into holes and dens. Those huge ears function like the radiators in your car, dissipating heat back into the atmosphere, thus cooling its blood and internal temperature. That long tail is almost like a kangaroo’s tail, giving it counterbalance. For a guy who weighs less than a few pounds, he sure is fearless! As a popular exotic pet around the world, this pup has probably never encountered its natural prey, or experienced the life threatening fear of a natural predator. In its natural habitat the fennec does have to avoid a few predators. It is small enough for raptors to catch and eat (owls and eagles and the like), hyenas (remember, we’re talking about Africa), and even domesticated dogs. In its defense, the fennec is probably too small to resist large predators, but at least it can burrow into the desert sand to hide. This little guy on his blanket and chew toy may not have to worry about owls and hyenas, at least. Owners should keep an eye on the neighbors’ jealous pets! Intelligence? The fennec fox has brains aplenty, and it even shows in it vigorous play. You can see the smallest canine is still a contender in the arena of smarts and personality. It sacrifices nothing to be an adorable, loving family member, too. These qualities probably have something to do with it being a social animal in the wild, probably similar to other dogs. Unfortunately, we can’t really draw conclusions about fennec fox family life in the wild, because there isn’t a lot we know about it, yet. We know wolf packs are highly organized, but if the fennec is anything like European and North American fox species, well, foxes tend to not form packs, but live and hunt alone. Other fox species tend to be loners, except when mating and pupping. Indeed, male foxes tend to be something of wanderers, extending their territories on the prowl for other girl foxes. This little guy doesn’t have to worry about any of that. It only has to do one thing to make itself and everybody watching it happy, and that’s to play.

Helpful parrot provides instruction for lunch preparation

Einstein the Talking Texan Parrot is a silly, smart, and popular parrot who loves to talk and entertain! He likes to have conversations with his owners, talking, doing animal sound imitations and acting silly. He also enjoys singing and dancing in some of his video compilations. With his amazing talking abilities, and funny antics, Einstein the talking parrot’s videos will keep you entertained for hours! Einstein and his owner are in the kitchen preparing lunch together. It's obvious that Einstein watches the whole process and provides instructions for Jeff. He imitates the sounds of the microwave beeps and the banging sound of a utensil on the side of a dish. Usually he will make the sound of water, but this time he tells his owner to get some water. He also tell him the food needs to cool. Notice how Einstein gently makes a blowing sound while Jeff cools off the bread. Einstein also makes a few other comments such as "Red butt clean" and "red butt corn". Not appropriate lunch conversation, but perhaps these comments are in reference to cleaning up after lunch. At last lunch is served and it's delicious birdie bread! If you would like to watch more videos of Einstein, visit his channel page on Rumble: https://rumble.com/einsteinparrot/ Einstein parrot is also famous for some of his silly quotes and sayings. Online, Einstein the talking parrot is popular across many social media platforms. Einstein's favorite places to talk at home is perched on the shower wall, in the kitchen on his drawer, and on his screened in back porch. As stated on his website, Einstein's mission statement: "To entertain and bring joy, to foster the human-parrot bond, and to convey that parrots are deserving of immeasurable amounts of patience, nurturing, and companionship." Einstein's website ( www.einsteinparrot.com ) is designed to inform you about the care of parrots and also entertain you. As previously mentioned, Einstein is popular on many social media sites such as YouTube @einsteinparrot, Instagram @einsteinparrot, Twitter @einsteinparrot, and Facebook @einsteintexanparrot. Living with a parrot is a big commitment. Parrots live a very long time. A parrot such as Einstein can live to be 50 or 60 years old. Many larger parrots like Macaws can live to be 100 years old. They all require a lot of care, proper nutrition, training, time and patience. Parrots need a lot of attention and lots of toys and activities to keep from being bored. Parrots are also expensive, a large cage is an investment and plenty of play perches to spend their out of cage time. Specialized veterinarian care is also required. Most of all they require your companionship and a forever home. Many people decide after the first few years of parrot ownership that the responsibility is too great and the parrots become neglected and sometimes abandoned. When that happens they are sent to parrot rescue facilities to be adopted by a new family or some spend their lives in sanctuaries. It is often said, "Having a parrot is much like raising a 2 or 3 year old child for the rest of your life!"

Sweet Baby Owls Snuggle Together In A Basket

Try not to let your heart melt in the face of such tenderness. Surely you will not be able to resist! And it is this beautiful trio of baby owls that is something most tender and touching that you will see today, so be prepared to be inundated with sweetness while you watch this adorable video. These small and fascinating newborns look at the world with their large and curious eyes as they share the most incredible fraternal love. These owl birdies are look adorable in the basket while they caress and cuddle with each other, shake their heads and show their curiosity in front of the camera, and the tiny space where they live is not a problem for them. This video is a real example of love, affection and reciprocal protection. Evidently these babies have retained their affectionate bond since their eggs hatched or simply when being around other birds of the same species, they feel confident, secure and warm; that is why they develop so much empathy and love between them. Super adorable! This scene melts the hardest of hearts and shows that there are few things in the world so beautiful, such as seeing these beautiful owls pampering each other and snuggling with their naive looks and sweet expressions. A trio of tenderness! So if you are a lover of animals, especially exotic birds, you can not miss this clip as we are sure it will make your day better and put a smile on your face. This footage, although very charming, is quite unique as well, since it will probably be one of the few times that these birds can be observed exchanging love with other members of their species, because owls are not social animals but rather solitary, and in very isolated cases they flock together. However, in reality these majestic birds live in total solitude, and the reproductive time is the only opportunity when they get together. For this reason, it is so special to see these three little ones sharing such a small space and doing it so naturally. It is simply spectacular! These adorable little ones who seem to be dancing to the beat of the beautiful background melody, will be solitary, territorial and independent birds in the future but while they are still tender and innocent babies they will share this great affection we are witnessing, thanks to the camera that captured this incredible and sweet moment. So, if you want to flood your heart with joy, do play this clip over again and again. If you want more people to be conquered by this cute trio , do not hesitate to share the video with your loved ones and your network of friends so that it can be seen many times and of course, don’t forget to like this heart melting video. Super Affectionate Cow Gives A Woman Kisses38s

Super Affectionate Cow Gives A Woman Kisses

You don’t know how gentle and loving a cow can be until you get this close to one. They really are gentle souls. We usually see them from a roadside, plugged into the earth like some kind of gigantic grass eating vacuum cleaner. Try hand-feeding one an apple through the fence, and they will carefully take it from your hand, all the while looking at you. The cow kiss can be a little sloppy, but at least it’s sincere. Their giant, slippery tongues reach out to give you a smooch on the cheek, and they may be slightly startled when you give a peck on the snout in return. The cow has a lot of eating to do during the day, interspersed by periods of napping. But it can afford a minute or two of love with its human caretakers. The cow pretty much wants two things: grass and love. For as big as a cow is, it is also one of the simplest of creatures on this green earth. Unlike dogs, they don’t go out of their way to impress their owner with tricks and excessive demonstrations of affection. To the cow, love is a given commodity in the contract with humans. It is doubtful they dread the final outcome that the male of their species face. They just live for the moment. In the rain, they will huddle together under the dubious shelter of a tree. In the sun, they graze lazily like the vegetarians they are. We don’t know much about what goes on in that massively bony head while they eat. Are they in continuous daydream mode? The cow does have a big heart, however, and if the size of the heart truly is tied to the depth of one’s emotion, then the cow must be one of the most deeply emotional animals. It’s obvious this farm girl is more than casually attached to the brown cow she’s loving over. The two appear to know each other well. The heifer just won’t leave her alone, and the bars of the fence are just two small to do justice to the amount of affection she wants to give. It’s all she can do to give the lady the kissing due her. The heifer can’t stand to be without her lady. Their time together is short, “C’mon lady, we don’t have all day!” Others of the herd seem to be patiently waiting for their turn, but is this brown cow special to the young woman? It looks to be the case. You could accuse her of favoritism, and it might matter to other animals, but the cows seem to take it in stride. From what we see here, cows are not particularly jealous creatures. The scene almost makes you want to own a cow, but let’s be reasonable, most people can’t own a pet cow. Fortunately we can visit a petting zoo, where we might find baby farm animals on which we can test our capacity for affection.

Giant Turkey Climbs On A Woman's Lap To Cuddle26s

Giant Turkey Climbs On A Woman's Lap To Cuddle

We don't normally think of barnyard fowl as warm and cuddly, but our prejudices deceive us. We might almost understand a chicken schmoozing up to us, but a turkey? We'll have to see it to believe it. So, here it is for all the world to see, and you can believe it now. He's quite a handsome fellow, with a mostly white coat, looking something like cookie dough ice cream. He’s on full display mode, all puffed up in that classical turkey look. His head is an interesting shade of blue. He will look quite different around the Thanksgiving season , but he doesn't have to worry about that quite yet. He really likes the petting, and by the look of his comfort level in approaching the young lady and sitting in her lap, it's a pretty good bet that he has done this before. First a scratch on the back of the head, now the neck. Don't forget underneath the chin! Now for those long strokes down my wing feathers. "Oooh, yeah! That's it. How 'bout behind the ear?" We should all be as lucky as this bird. Long since are the days when farm animals serve only utilitarian purposes. 20 years ago we might never have even heard the term "emotional support animal". These days, however, it seems there is no limit to what class or species can surrogate for the warmth and understanding of another person. Indeed, animals of all kinds demonstrate behaviors remarkably similar to our own. In fact, we claim that certain kinds of behavior, such as hugging, are human in nature, but maybe they are just plain old nature. This guy would be a welcome addition to a petting zoo, don't you think? He has probably ever known only love, food, and shelter. We can't conclude that the other members of his family share the same disposition. Animals, like people, come in different temperaments. But when you behave yourself and you play your cards right, you just might be lucky enough to earn favored status from the girl who runs the place. We can usually get a good read on how people take care of their animals by how the animals act around the people who take care of the. This turkey, for instance, not only shows no sign of skittishness, but seems to impose himself upon the young lady as if he has doesn't need an invitation for a good scratch. What is a barnyard mistress for, after all, if not to be used? Her hands are free and she's not doing any other chores at the moment. The other animals can wait: they will get their turn. The life of a domestic turkey, or any farm animal, for that matter is all about now. Tomorrow must not be taken as a given. If there's one thing we can learn from the turkey , it's how to wheedle yourself into someone's good graces and cash in on some attention. She owes you at least that much.

Crazy chimp bangs on glass, makes kid cry58s

Crazy chimp bangs on glass, makes kid cry

This is the new chimpanzee in the group, the young Kibali. He is getting a lot of attention from the younger females in the group, which gives him more confidence of challenging Jambo for his Alpha male position. As Kibali makes it’s presents known, there are a lot of noises and displays of strength. Jambo who he is challenging is sitting quietly on the other end. When Kibali jumps up and down on the ropes with lots of noise and his hair is standing up he jumps to the ground and then suddenly comes swinging towards the huge window and kicks it with his powerful legs. Unfortunately the little girl watching on the other site didn’t expect it as he came launching towards her and it made her jump cry. The other kids on the other site were more prepared when he did it again. Looking at Kibali and Jumbo, I'm guessing Kibali is definitely on the way of getting the alpha male role, when not already there. Jambo who suffers from alopecia is sitting quietly on the other end. It seems quite sad that Jambo would loose his alpha male position, but this is the natural way with chimps and maybe Jambo thinks "I'm just getting too old for all this, I just want some peace and quiet." Jambo's son Mongo who also had alopecia had the alpha position before and Jambo only took over when Mongo passed away. Kibali was already at Twycross Zoo, but with another group. Since they've built the new habitat, they slowly are introducing the two groups together with Kibali being one of the first to join Jambo's troop. Here is some more info of what Twycross Zoo wrote "Some of the younger females in the group are changing their allegiance to one of our young virile males, Kibali. This attention is giving Kibali more confidence and a keen interest in mating. Jambo is not in favor of this and as a leader of the group tries to control the situation, which sometimes lead to clashes between the two males. Challenges for power, although completely natural, are not for the faint-hearted. It involves the challenging chimp working to ensure he has his back up in place (lots of bond forming with his chimpanzee pals) and then displaying aggressive behavior to the dominant male. The extent of this can vary from lots of loud screaming and chasing around to the use of their strong arms and teeth to prove their power, which may create some injuries."

Talking Parrot Adorably Makes Kissing Noises44s

Talking Parrot Adorably Makes Kissing Noises

Jade the Alexandrine parrot is giving her foot some long overdue attention. And along the way her Indian ringneck parakeet companion treats her to some reassuring pecks on the cheek. When asked about it, Jade answers with squeaks, squeals, and kissing sounds all her own. Jade is an endearing little gal. She loves her mistress and her smaller parakeet friend. Though they look so different, the Alexandrine parakeet (or parrot) and the Indian ringneck come from similar parts of the world. The Alexandrine is becoming fewer in nature, but because of their social nature and great personality, the Alexandrine is popular throughout the world. It's scenes like this that make us want a parrot of our own. Colorful, fragile, intelligent and emotional, all wrapped up in a feathery package. To most of us in the northern hemisphere any parrot is seen as an exotic accessory. Those of us who aren't lucky enough to own a parrot look forward to our next visit without friends or relatives who do. We don't know why Jade happens to be fixated on her foot. Is it sore? Maybe she just wants to give it a good cleaning or a scratch with her sharp beak. Parrots certainly do a lot of standing, so the foot is an important and well used feature. Besides the kissing sounds, what else is Jade trying to tell us? Even if we don't understand every word, we get the intent well enough. This is an exchange of endearment, an intimate klatch of a woman and her two loves. Not all parrot vocalizations are equal. Jade's are particularly high pitched, even effeminate. She is so bright that she understands her mistress, even replying when spoken to. Does Jade understand everything said to her, and in return understand her own words? It's hard to tell the depth of her understanding, but parrots are thought to at least understand the emotion behind the conversation. For instance, Jade probably at least knows this exchange has something to do with her, personally, and perhaps even knows the woman is asking about her own foot. Even more, words and gestures repeated often enough, like kisses and kissing sounds become rewarding enough. We wouldn't be wrong to assume Jade and her partner understand affection very much as people do. Such glimpses into the mind of the animal kingdom, through empathy of behaviors that correspond to our own, strengthen our sense of the oneness of nature. We delight when our animal friends respond so lovingly to our attempts to make them a part of our lives. Animals aren't just an accessory; they are a necessity. Will Jade return to the Internet with a new repertoire? We are sure she will. Parrots are natural hams, living it up in front of the camera. How can we resistance such charm and beauty? It's not possible. Every fiber of our being wants to reach out through the screen and touch, or even kiss Jade the parrot. As for her smaller friend off to the side, hey! Come out and play with us some more!

Fawn Slowly Learns How To Eat From Caring Human’s Hand2m06s

Fawn Slowly Learns How To Eat From Caring Human’s Hand

Animals can be extremely shy when dealing with a human. Most pets eventually become comfortable, even if at first they are a little standoffish. When some people get dogs or cats they usually have to learn each other’s tendencies before they are completely comfortable with each other. There are plenty of cute and funny animal videos all over the internet and you can literally spend hours watching videos. Pretty much everyone loves a good animal video. Even if you aren’t really a pet kind of person, you can still find videos like these quite cute. The animals that tend to be the shyest, are the wild animals you might encounter or keep as a pet. Lots of people have probably encountered a squirrel at the park that is slowly inching towards you. Maybe you will throw out a little piece of bread for it to eat, or make noises hoping it will come towards you. Rarely do they ever come right to you, no matter how hard you try. The baby deer in this video acts like that timid squirrel that is really close to you. Looking all nervous and can’t decide whether or not to approach or not! This is a very cute video of a little deer that can’t decide whether to approach the person and get some food. This is a pet fawn after all, and hopefully the two will become comfortable with each other very soon! The woman in the video is feeding her pet deer and she has six of them in fact! In this video there is one that is diving its face into a cup of food, and a smaller more timid one in the back deciding what to do. The one stuffing its face is MiLady and she seems very comfortable with the woman. They must have been together for a good amount of time! The shy baby deer in the back is one of MiLady’s twins, Molly, and she brought the young deer to eat. The young deer is obviously still very shy and very young so it makes sense for it to be scared. Molly is pacing around trying to figure what is going on, and the woman filming is assuring her that everything is ok. She watches her mom eat and sees that her mom is doing quite alright with the lady! She starts to inch closer and closer towards the action! She is still being very cautious, pacing backing and forth and sniffing the rocks around her! Eventually she steps over the rocks and inches closer to the food on the ground. She isn’t at the level her mom is at, eating out of the cup in the woman’s hand! She will hopefully get there soon though! Finally, after sniffing long enough, Molly takes some of the food! Molly is a very young deer so it will take some time getting her used to things, but it looks like she has a great owner who is patient! Definitely a very cute video of a very shy fawn!

It is often said, "Having a parrot is much like raising a 2 or 3 year old child for the rest of your life!" Piglets Run In Total Confusion During A Race 2m11s

Piglets Run In Total Confusion During A Race

Oh my! Piglets scurry around wearing little jerseys in a pot-bellied race that will have you in tears! Are you crying from laughing, or are you like us and can't help but question what is actually happening to these animals. The piglets in this video do not understand that they are running a race, and find themselves frantically running about in total confusion. The outcome would be pure chance not due to any accurate possibilities. This piglet race appears to be occurring at a family farm or a farm especially tailored for such events. Pigs are constantly being bred to reproduce more pigs so it is hard to know which season the sow may have given birth. Videos like this always have us wondering where the animals have come from and where they are going. In most cases, the outcome is less than desirable. In this situation, unless the pigs were predestined to live out their lives in peace, they would have been sent to a feeding facility and then transported to a slaughterhouse. We wish we could say differently, but the truth of farmed animals is quite bleak. That is the reason why so many people have chosen to take themselves out of the equation. Many would choose not to participate in this piglet race or farm adventure, or even go further to not eat animals or their products. Doing so, is the first step to awareness. In the past, events such as the one in this video have actually been shut down by Animals Rights Activists protesting the abuse of animals. Yes, we acknowledge these animals are not being abused such as that in hog wrestling events and the like, but it is still mistreatment. We have to ask ourselves - if these were puppies, would we still be laughing? Therein lies the definition of speciesism. The manner in which we regard animals so differently. Yes, it is okay to laugh at this video. Yet it is important to remember the ways in which we partake in the use and abuse of animals on a daily basis. Zoos and the like are the same form of animal manipulation for entertainment. In the natural, a mother pig would stay with her children much past this age. They would nuzzle and root and play together. Momma would go to rest and create a nice big bed where her piglets are and one by one they would pile up on top of her for a nice long nap. These events are a great opportunity for kids to get to spend time with farm animals, but more-so are farmed sanctuaries where animals will get the opportunity to live their life unaffected by humans and their desire to consume animals. We need to develop a kinder world where all animals are accepted, not just the ones we consider pets. We wonder if a child watching this video or is at this farm would think that it is wrong, or if they would simply become overjoyed because of the silly scarring of the piglets? It is only natural and we are not judging anyone. It is just important to introduce this new perspective, for anyone hoping to contribute to a kinder and compassionate world.
