Street Cat Takes Adoption Into Own Hands - Refuses to Leave Car

Word is among cat lovers that you don’t choose a cat, it chooses you! It doesn’t happen often that an adult feral cat decides to join you in your adventures in life, so when a one does happen to come over for a cuddle and a scratch, be sure that this feline trusts you completely! Cats can be excellent judge of character and this feral toyger proved just that! Leo was a street cat that has always known what he wants. Roaming the streets of Ankara, the capital city of Turkey, all the cat wanted was to find a warm and loving home. But it isn’t easy for the cats on this Turkish city’s streets. So instead of waiting to be rescued, he took matters into his own hands. When an animal rescuer came to feed him like she usually does, the cat decided that he will not be staying on the street in Ankara no more. He climbed the hood of rescuers red FIAT car and went straight inside through the open window on the driver’s side. The cat then stayed with the rescuer until he got adopted ! Who says that there are no happy endings in life? What did you think of this video? We would love to hear what you think so please do not hesitate to leave a comment down in the comments section! Please share this amazing moment with your family and friends as it will surely make them smile! This is one video that you are not going to want to miss! Rumble is brimming with videos of cute kittens and every video is becoming an almost instant sensation. There are tons of channels dedicated only to the purring creatures. They have eclipsed the space of social networks, there are oceans of groups of feline lovers, which in fact are the most popular forms of online networking of pet enthusiasts. People who have not been dragged into the pool of kitty veneration, are dealing with a very logical question: "What aroused such interest in these soft-furred mousers? Why not dogs? Why not birds? Or fish? Why cats? ". Both the very culprits, doing the campaigns for promoting cats online, and the viewers and loyal cat fans even though they do their best to unravel the mystery of cat interest, they cannot provide a single definite answer, apart from: "But they are soo cuuuuute - don’t you just want to squeeeeeze theeem?", "Cat is my spirit animal, and I think that half the world agrees with me", "Cats ...hmm ... I just love them!", "Cause they are so funny and adorable." Do you think it's really so simple: do cats attract us with their charming charisma? And that's all? It is totally inconceivable that a person who has Internet access and knows how to use a computer hasn’t noticed that cats have totally taken it over and rule it with supremacy! But if you think that this is a modern phenomenon - you are mistaken: not only are cat videos trending for the past 10 years, but they have been a trend for millennia. Just take a look at the drawings of cats in the Egyptian pyramids.

After 28 Years, Police Officer Makes His Retiring Call – Then His Son’s Voice Comes On The Radio

Retiring is a thing to be celebrated because, after long years of servitude in your profession, you have finally earned the right to relax and enjoy life. This is especially true for the brave protectors of law and order. But after decades of engagement, the moment can also be a sad one; a big part of your life is changing, and you have to say your goodbyes to people who have been more than co-workers. Salem City Police Sgt. Douglas Hogate Sr. was finishing his last day on the job before retirement . He announced his final Code 3 - signing off - but little did he know that an exceptional someone was on the other end of that police radio to send him off. The 911 dispatch operator was none other than his son, Douglas Hogate Jr., and he had a special message for his dad listening. “It is with great pleasure to announce that as of 1800 hours on this date, after 28 years of service, my father, Salem City Police Sgt. Douglas Hogate Sr., Badge #612, is retiring and is giving his final Code 3," the Hogate Jr. said. “It is my honor as Salem County PST Douglas Hogate Jr. to acknowledge his Code 3 to the greatest man I know. Salem City Police Sgt. Douglas Hogate Sr., Badge #612, you are officially Code 3 at 1800 hours." Douglas Sr. couldn’t keep his eyes from tearing up after hearing his boy’s endearing words. The police force is certainly going to miss having such an amazing man on their team. After the announcement, Hogate Sr. answered, "Thank you, Sir." At that point, an individual officer came up to his drivers-side window to give him a warm handshake. "All done!" she tolled, as they bolted hands and snickered with satisfaction. This fantastic moment was caught on camera by his loving daughter, and the video has since gone viral, receiving over 1.4 million views. This brought tears to us. Driver Rescues Skunk With Head Caught In Plastic Cup

Heroes exist everywhere in this world, you just have to know what you are looking for. It does not take much to be a hero, even a small gesture or act of kindness makes you a hero in our books! This seems to be the case in this video as while driving to work this couple saw a skunk running across the road. As they drew closer they discovered that it had two plastic cups stuck on its head . Jamie, who was driving the Jeep, stopped and decided to help out, being careful that the young skunk doesn't start spraying him. How lucky could one skunk get, getting help was just what he needed. Jamie is one incredible person. He proves that it does not take much to be a hero. He saved that young skunks life and as much as people do not like skunks, all life is precious. Jamie had some serious guts to get that close to the skunk. The animal could have sprayed Jamie at any moment but he still tried to help as much as he can! The skunk even seemed happy that it finally got the cup of its head! That must be the reason that it did not spray Jamie, it was happy that he helped! There are still plenty of good people in this world and Jamie is a prime example of one! Check out this incredible footage! Credit to 'GonetotheSnowDogs'.

Animal Rescuers Climb 18 Feet Down A Cave To Rescue A Litter Of Puppies16m28s

Animal Rescuers Climb 18 Feet Down A Cave To Rescue A Litter Of Puppies

Animals depend on human kindness and it is our sacred duty to keep them safe and put them out of harm's way. Puppies, being as fragile as they are, especially depend on our help. These little puppers were stuck 18 feet into the earth, but luckily for them, people with kind hearts managed to rescue them. The mission wasn't easy and not everyone would have bothered, but it's an amazing feeling just to know that you've helped a helpless creature. Kindness sparks kindness in others, so hopefully this will get at least one person to do something kind to continue the chain. This video is in memory of our dear friend and rescuer: Lisa M Ashe. Eldad and his team were called to rescue a litter of young puppies that have been living in a hole in the ground with their mother. The puppies weren’t too eager to trust the humans, so removing and taking them to safety was not a simple challenge. The litter of nine puppies, along with their mother, was rescued one by one from the dark and wet dwelling they were hiding in and each was given a name starting with the letters in Lisa’s name. The five boys and four girls are doing splendidly and are ready for their forever homes . Please share this video and help us save more lives: http://www.HopeForPaws.org

Hope For Paws and L.A. Fire Department saving an injured Mastiff from L.A River

Hope For Paws recorded this footage of their mission to rescue an injured mastiff dog from the Los Angeles river canal. The dog was reported by a woman named Megan Barre, a tourist visiting from Nevada, who told the team that the dog is badly injured and scared, barely able to walk. She had heard about Eldad Hagar and his brave team and they inspired her to call them first. Megan told Eldad that ever since she saw one of their rescue videos, she is hyper aware of the possibilities that there might be a dog stranded in that canal. When Eldad arrived at the scene, the limping dog growled and ran away. When it saw that there is no way out, it turned around and charged towards him, with all of it's 110 pounds. About 20 bystanders witnesses the heroic endeavors of the team, as they caught the dog and established that it is a female. The team managed to quickly calm her down and hoist her out of the canal to take her to a vet. The vet found a microchip that showed her name is Tinkerbell and she came from Arizona during the 4th of July weekend with her family, who came as quickly as they could to be reunited with their huge pooch. Please help us save more animals like Tinkerbell by becoming a monthly donor of just $5:  http://www.HopeForPaws.org We would much rather use our time rescuing than on fundraising. Every little bit helps. Thanks :-) Eldad

Security Guard Makes Amazing Catch To Save Baby54s

Security Guard Makes Amazing Catch To Save Baby

When it comes to dangerous places where you should definitely make sure your child doesn’t get in, the X-Ray luggage scanning machine at airport customs is clearly one of them. Radiation aside, that is one cold, dark and creepily loud place for a child to be. We adult know that, but kids are curious and will definitely want to check it out. One parent let their child slip from their attention for a short while while at the X-Ray machine, but luckily they weren’t alone there! In this CCTV footage released by the Katowice Airport in Poland, security guard Grzegorz Paczko makes an incredible last-second catch after spotting a child slipping off of a baggage counter. The footage shows a man picking up his suitcase after being checked at security, before picking up his toddler child up and putting him on the counter. His attention is distracted from the child for what seems like second, but that is plenty of time for the toddler to lose balance and fall off the counter! That is where the sniper-like reflexes of the brave security guard kick in, as he throws himself to catch the child literally just before it’s tender head hit the floor! Kudos for Paczko and what in the world was that father thinking?! All rights to Katowice Airport.

Large Whitetail Doe Waited For Human To Help Her Save Her Little Baby 1m17s

Large Whitetail Doe Waited For Human To Help Her Save Her Little Baby

Although we would like to believe so, there is no real boundary from where the wilderness ends and our concrete jungle begins. The ecosystems don’t work that way. The constant expansion of our ecosystem is barging in on the millions of other ecosystems governed by wild animals, and we are bound to cross paths one way or another. This footage which occurred on September 18, 2015 in Marcellus, MI, USA shows us exactly how we can still live in symbiosis without feeling threatened. There have been many videos of deer being caught in high fences, and it is only normal because no matter how high they jump, their limbs are still slim enough to get caught in the wires of the fencing. The young deer start panicking right away and can sometimes make the situation even worse than it already is. This is when humans must intervene if they want to save the young ones. Kevin Johnson, the person whose fence the deer got caught on had this to say about the whole ordeal: "I went outside my house before work in the morning and there was a large whitetail doe standing in my driveway. She ran away instantly when I came out. It was only a moment later that I noticed why she had been there. Her fawn was stuck in the fence out front of my house. I went back inside and grabbed my phone, went to the garage and grabbed my wire cutters and started filming."

Dying Puppy Brought Home To Pass Peacefully Surprises Mom And Daughter

Humanity does not know its boundaries. When daddy’s job was relocated, his family and he needed to follow. The mom Marry and her three daughters Abby, Anna, and Alaina needed to find themselves something to keep them busy, so they found a meaningful way to spend their time - volunteering at a shelter with 4,000 dogs in Ankara, Turkey. With so many rampant dog diseases, one of the most deadly is distemper, which causes neurological damage that leads to seizures and loss of coordination. Knowing that there was nothing to do for the dogs suffering from distemper, this family decided to act as a hospice for dogs. They took in dogs that were close to death, so that they could die in a decent peaceful place and not the overcrowded shelters. One day they decided to bring home a litter of sick and dying pups. Then a miracle happened - Faith, the smallest pup, survived. Several of the dogs they took in died shortly after, but at least it was in peace and with a loving family. There was one little girl dog named “ Faith ” that defied all of the odds. She was the littlest one, always in a corner, but this little puppy was a real fighter. Faith shocked her family and instead of getting weaker, she began to regain her strength and weight. After months of nurturing, Faith became a happy, healthy, and very loved pooch. Now Faith is an irreplaceable member of their family so they will bring her with them back in America. Watching Faith with her new family, it is obvious that they are a match made from heaven. #miracle #adopt Please subscribe to our channel so you don't miss a single PAWsitive story! http://bit.ly/PAWsitiveSubscribe Catch up with PAWsitive socially! Wild Boar Heroically Rescued From Slippery Frozen Lake

There is no other story that can make you cry happy tears more than an animal rescue story with a happy ending. There is something so sweet about seeing a tiny kitten brought back to safety after being stuck in the foundations of a house, or maybe helping a stranded malnourished dog on the street. It just fills you up with joy and hope that everything will get better, restoring our faith in humanity! This is the heartwarming moment when Good Samaritans decide to lend a helping hand to an animal in need! A group of ice skaters were enjoying their day skating on a frozen lake in Sweden, south of Stockholm, when they came across four wild boars trapped on the ice. The boars were struggling and could not move as the ice was very slippery, and they did not have enough strength in their body to get to the other side of the ice. There is no way they would have managed to escape from the little island in the middle of the lake if it weren’t for the heroic ice skaters. Check out this inspiring video! These four ice skaters started to slowly move the wild boars to the other side of the ice using their sticks. With the help from the group of ice skaters, the boars were able to get off the ice and survive. If they were not saved, they wouldn't be able to get any food to eat or any water to drink, so they would have starved to death. Thank goodness these ice skaters were there to save the day! Fortunately, they all had the right equipment to be efficient and safely move the boars to the other side of the frozen lake. We are certain the boars appreciated this action very much! If you can make a difference in your day, why not make a difference? Doing something nice makes your day a little brighter! This rescue mission will leave you in tears!

Quick-Acting Mom Saves Child From Attempted Kidnapping 1m05s

Quick-Acting Mom Saves Child From Attempted Kidnapping

It only takes a moment for your life to turn upside-down. It can happen when you least expect it to and it can’t be reversed. You would just watch while it unveils in front of your eyes, not being able to do anything about it. That is, unless you are this supermom! A mother’s impulse to love and protect her child appears to be hard-wired into her brain. Motherhood is considered to be an innate instinct that drives women to protect and care for their children. A mother naturally knows how to care for and protect her children. These words summarize the concept of what is known as the maternal instinct. For humans the unique and individualized mother’s instinct is often a force to reckon with. When a woman becomes a mother she somehow taps into a psychic and connected power to understand the intricate details of another human. In this video, the maternal instinct of one mom is what has actually helped her daughter not to be abducted while she was standing near the door at one local store. This horrifying event took place in Victorville, CA, USA on July 1, 2016. A mother had just walked into a local store with her two children, one was attached to her hip while the other, a little girl was standing near the door and looking at something on the wall. In a flash, someone pushed an arm through the open front door and grabbed the little girl. They dragged her through the door onto the streets but luckily and to our great relief, the mother quickly realized that someone’s trying to harm her little girl and rushed after them. She managed to get a hold of her daughter all the while she held the little toddler on her hip. The store patrons quickly caught on to what was happening and ran after the attacker. This is what the owner Miguel Macias had to say about it all: "This tragedy happened one day in our store at bright day light. It was an attempt of kidnapping ." The statistics are really discouraging. A statistic from 2001 says that 840,279 people (adults and children) were reported missing to the FBI's National Crime Information Center and every 40 seconds in the United States, a child becomes missing or is abducted with about 74 percent of the victims of non family child abduction being girls. In a society so advanced the instinctive qualities of a mother are still often overlooked or thought of as excessive worry or paranoia. Imagine bringing your baby in to the doctor. No fever, no wounds, no illness that can be diagnosed. But as a mother, you just know that something is wrong. It might be written off as colic or some other infant problem – yet still at night you lie awake with a nagging sense that something is just not right. Usually and eventually you find out you are right. What did you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy! Credit: Miguel Macias / ViralHog.com

Remember those lip-sync challenges going around amongst Police Services over the last month or so? And in line with the philosophy that all great things take time, we’re excited to present our lip sync video of Backstreet Boys' I want it that Way, including a scene re-enactment from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. We weren’t officially challenged from a Police Service so we won’t be throwing down any challenges ourselves, but if anyone thinks they can one-up our efforts, feel free! Special thanks to everyone who helped make this possible, especially the sworn and civilian members that volunteered their holidays, days off and lunch hours to make this possible. In the last few years, our boys in blue have really taken a hit reputation wise with all of the major media stories . It is a breath of fresh air to see something about them that is fun and positive. All too often, we as the American public fall into the trap of laying the blame that should be on one person, or on a small group of individuals, and applying it to an entire group as a whole. What we have to remember is that there are going to be extremists on the fringes of any large groups, belief systems, religions, etc. Anything that contains millions of people is going to have some on the edges that do horrible things. However, that does NOT mean that all of the rest of them are bad as well. We really need to remember that, especially when it comes to our law enforcement officers. We see in this video some really good and positive forces on our streets, and we need to remember these guys do their job well. Woman Cycling In Desert Finds A Dying Puppy And Nurses It Back To Health

A heartwarming video has emerged of a cyclist saving the life of a deserted puppy and nursing it back to health! Diane Lea, founder and bicyclist of 50 Causes Ride, saw a small "animal" walking in circles in the middle of the desert. Diane and Liz Watkins, video producer and RV driver, were nine days into Diane's 50 day journey. Diane rode 50 miles a day for 50 days to bring awareness to 50 Causes. On day 9, for Multiple Sclerosis, Diane was riding in 105 degree heat in southern Arizona. The "animal" turned out to be a dying puppy. Liz captured the <a href=" https://rumble.com/v31291-puppy-rescued-from-miserable-puppy-mill-learns-how-to-walk-again.html " target="_blank">rescue mission</a> on video. When a bicyclist saw a delirious puppy walking in circles on the asphalt in the desert of southern Arizona at 105 degree heat, she immediately picked it up and brought it back to her RV to resuscitate it. The entire rescue mission was being filmed by Liz Watkins who was also driving the RV with supplies. On day 9 of their 50 day trek they found this <a href=" https://rumble.com/v460b0-three-cape-coral-women-search-for-abandoned-dog.html " target="_blank">deserted puppy</a> that seemed to be dying of thirst and hallucinating because of the hot sun! Footage shows Diane serving the pup with a bowl of water and giving the pooch a soothing bath in order to cool him down! It is adorable how the tiny pooch fit perfectly in the plastic container and enjoyed bathing in cold water. Diane’s RV was filled with many “road treasures” i.e. objects discarded by people on the road., which she often collects and keeps as souvenirs. But none would turn out to be as precious as this little ball of fur! This caring lady nursed the dying pup back to health and the two of them have been inseparable ever since! Watch and share her rescue with your friends and family!

Young Nurse Sings A Final Hymn To Her Dying Patient 3m19s

Young Nurse Sings A Final Hymn To Her Dying Patient

We all marvel at doctors, praising how smart and talented they are. But they are not the only ones that help make us feel better. Nurses, nurse’s aides, and other health care workers are unsung heroes. This video serves as a proof. This young nurse was caught on video helping a dying woman. This is a beautiful story about a grandma in her final days and a nurse with a beautiful voice and a kind heart . Isabelle Jennings, 18, is a nursing assistant at Life Care Center in Seneca, Kansas, and she had formed a close bond with one patient, 94-year-old Mary Helen Schmelzle. Whenever Jennings came into Schmelzle’s room, she would ask, “Are you going to sing to me?” On her day off, the young nurse came to the grandma’s bedside to sing for her. Get your tissues ready before listening to the nurse’s heartwarming melody! A few weeks ago when caregiver Isabelle Jennings was talking to Mary Helen Schmelzle, she confided that she felt her struggle with congestive heart failure was near its end. Fearing her elderly patient would pass away before her next shift, Isabelle created a lasting memory for herself and Helen's family. Despite her sadness, Isabelle did what she always did with her friend, she sang. With her angelic voice, Jennings began singing “In the Garden” while holding the older woman’s hand. The beautiful song was caught on video by Schmelzle’s daughter, Julie Nichol. This beautiful act of kindness and compassion that Isabelle showed, it was very touching. The best gift you can give somebody is your time and compassion. credit:Jeremiah Nichol

Holly's Inspiring Journey: From Guillain-Barre syndrome to Happily Ever After!

At the age of 26, less than 3 weeks after giving birth to her first child, Holly was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder called Guillain-Barre syndrome. It started with a pain in her neck and a weakness in her legs, and within 12 hours, she could no longer walk. Within 72 hours, she was completely paralyzed and could no longer breathe on her own. She was admitted to the ICU where she spent two and a half months, breathing on a ventilator and fed through a tube in her stomach. When she finally started to recover, she had a long road ahead of her. Once released from the ICU, she started intense physiotherapy where she learned how to use all the muscles in her body again, and eventually how to walk. It was a long four months before she was able to return home to be a mother again, but she has made an almost complete recovery. Holly Gerlach has since written an inspirational book about her experience, and the challenges that she faced along the way. She now volunteers with the GBS foundation visiting other GBS patients, and shares her story – at universities, woman conferences, etc. For more information on Holly and what she is up to now, or to purchase her book, visit her blog: "hollygerlach".

Boaters Save Baby Deer From The Middle Of Lake Buchanan38s

Boaters Save Baby Deer From The Middle Of Lake Buchanan

Why did the man jump into the lake? To save the fawn in the middle of the big water, why else? One brave man risked his own safety, when he spotted a fawn stranded in the middle of Lake Buchanan in Texas. In the clip, shot on July 10, 2016, shows a man jumping out of his speedboat into the murky waters of Lake Buchanan, to save a fawn that is stranded literally in the middle of it. The man, who we find out is named Jeff Parker, says: "We were out in the boat last week on Lake Buchanan when we saw some deer out in the middle of the lake. There were two babies and a mother. They were a long way from shore, and it appeared that the mom was swimming around the babies who were unable to swim any further and struggling to stay above the water. After watching for a bit, we decided to intervene and Corey swam out and got the two baby deer and put them into the boat. The mom stayed close to the boat, but we couldn’t approach her, so we took them back to shore and she followed us. We placed them on shore and the three of them ran off together." Jeff friend stayed on the boat to film the entire thing, because who would have believed that a family of deer would go out swimming in a lake? When Jeff reaches the boat with one arm under the baby deer , his friend asks if they will put the fawn up. “Yeah,” Jeff replies. 'I mean we can leave her here to drown or we can put her in the boat.' In the next scene we get to see Jeff as he happily cuddles the baby deer he saved, smiling for the camera. It’s not every day you rescue a drowning animal and then get to hold it while it recuperates!

Gas Station Clerk Uses MMA Training To Foil Robbery2m35s

Gas Station Clerk Uses MMA Training To Foil Robbery

We see a gas station and a big parking lot and nothing happens for around a minute. The camera records the nearly empty parking lot and everything seems so peaceful, almost like a ghost town. After a while a Toyota car gets parked in front of the gas station and again total silence. Nothing stirs, nobody moves. Only the sun mystically reflects its light off the front of the car making us blink for a split second. Once the driver steps out of the car, all of a sudden we see this masked men with a silver jeep attack and hit fiercely the poor man faulty of nothing. But good people still exist and not only good but real street fighters. They come to rescue their co-worker showing their fighting abilities. Mayura Dissanayake, a gas station clerk and a colleague of the attacked man, is an amateur MMA fighter and uses his training to prevent a group of men from robbing his co-worker outside of a Houston. Attacking the crooks with swift kicks to their sides and with both fists to their heads, they chase the attackers off the coworker. One of them manages to escape and run back into the jeep, while the other struggles for his life. You never know when danger will show its ugly face. It lurks at all corners and it doesn't care if it's day or night. Gas stations are one of the places most frequently by robbers and this here is no exception. Thank God that there are still brave and just people watching our back.

Cute Poodle Rescued Just Hours Before Euthanasia 5m06s

Cute Poodle Rescued Just Hours Before Euthanasia

It is a terrible thing to think about, which is probably why most choose to look the other way, but there are so many animals at shelters that, if they do not find forever homes, have to be euthanized. It is the cruel truth of the world, which is why veterinarians and activists implore pet owners to neuter and spay their pets so that there would be less unfortunate homeless animals on the streets. Still, Eldad Hagar and his tireless rescue team at Hope For Paws do everything they can to save strays from this fate. When they heard about a dog named Edie who was just an hour away from being put down, they knew they had to move — and quick. But they didn’t get there quickly enough, because what they found was nothing short than a horror story. They found the Maltese poodle mix in a high-kill shelter just an hour before she was scheduled for euthanasia . The reason - Edie was absolutely terrified of human contact. The team speculates that the white matted pooch might have been terribly molested in her past, making her fear even the sight of a human being. That did not deter Eldad from his intentions to calm down the scared puppy and show her that there are kind spirits on this world that can love her the way she deserves. It didn’t take long for Edie to trust Eldad, so she lay on her back and let him scratch her tummy while wagging her tail, which is a true victory. One grooming session later and the dirty fur came down to reveal a beautiful puppy underneath, just begging for some TLC. Everything can be scary at the shelter when you weigh mere 10 pounds. Hope For Paws begs you not to overlook these animals when you are at a shelter, looking for a furry companion because all they need is a little hug! We are here to share the love towards animals. In this spirit take a look at the next video where a volunteer team rescues dog affected by California fires . A dog burnt in one of the fires raging across northern California was found and treated by a team of volunteers on August 5. This footage, filmed by Shelina Moreda, a volunteer with the NorCal Livestock Evacuation in Lake County, shows the dog, who appears to have suffered severe injuries from the blaze. “This poor boy was burnt all over, his paws crisped and smoking,” Moreda wrote. “He had walked up to this man, one of his neighbors. Ken made a little bed for him, and was caring for him even though Ken had earlier in the day watched his own house burn to the ground.” On August 7, the Mendocino Complex fire in Mendocino County, which borders Lake County, became the largest fire in California since accurate measurements began in 1932, Cal Fire said. It seems that it is very visible when humans suffer the consequences of large natural disasters, like floods, earthquakes, drafts, and fires. But rarely ever anyone speaks or counts animal victims. This is why they are often referred to as the “silent victims”. It seems very unlikely that anyone has the capacities or the interest to investigate how many critters have vanished into the fire blaze that swept North California in the latest catastrophe. The estimation runs in millions. What we can do is at least number the pets rescue teams found after sweeping the area and helped where help was possible. http://www.hopeforpaws.org/ Please help us save more dogs like Edie and make a $5 donation to Hope For Paws, and please share this video with all your friends. The amazing music for this video was created by Mr. Paul Collier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZ7C1q1OyJQ - Thank you so much for letting me use this amazing piece! Thanks, Eldad

Heroes Rescue Bear With Bucket Stuck On Its Head6m13s

Heroes Rescue Bear With Bucket Stuck On Its Head

This is unbelievable, a bear has been roaming around the Perry Township area for several weeks with a bucket stuck on its head. How has he been able to walk around with this uncomfortable object on his head, it’s not clear. Poor bear . At first, a man tries to remove the object from his head but it doesn't budge. He puts all his force into it but it doesn't look like it's coming off. The bear gets startled and runs past the fence with the object still on his head. He runs into the woods and a few people start to follow him. The group of locals start to take action to free the bear. They hold the bear down as they try to remove the object. He is very scared and the freeing mission seems very difficult. Using a saw, they cut open the bucket, and it comes off his head. The bear runs off and is so happy to be free. If he could thank those people he would. How awesome it is to see these people save the bear’s day! Nice job! Everybody keeps saying "curiosity killed the cat", when they should be saying "curiosity got a bucket stuck on a bear's head"! The poor thing probably thought that something yummy was inside (maybe it really was!) and decided to sniff in there, but by the time it turned out to be nothing but a layer of dried goo, it was too late! It's mama probably told him not to stick his head in strange places...he should have listened! In the following video, we can see an incredibly close encounter when a black bear appears out of the woods and slowly approaches a friendly man sitting in the porch. The ignorant animal curiously investigates his human friend, but soon decides it is uninterested, and decides to leave! It is amazing to see a black bear showing utter curiosity to befriend a human friend, much to our amusement. This is the intense moment when a dangerous black bear slowly approaches a man, showing no violent nature whatsoever. However, after sniffing his body in detail, the bear soon decides that the human is not her type and slowly retreats into the woods. What a lovely encounter! Admit it, you never expected this close encounter to end like it did! With a happy ending and a new friendship! Adorable! Who would have ever thought that a black bear would be so curious to become friends with a human? Maybe it is the fact that the man was sitting still and not moving a muscle, hence, not presenting any danger to the animal whatsoever. What would you have done if you were in a situation similar to this one? Run? Hide? Faint? Scream? Pet the bear? What did you think of this video? Have you ever seen something like this before? Would you ever go anywhere near a black bear? We would love to hear what you have to think so please do not hesitate to leave a comment down in the comments section!

Dog Rescued By A Police Officer After Being Tied To A Moving Truck2m01s

Dog Rescued By A Police Officer After Being Tied To A Moving Truck

An officer saves a dog leashed to a moving truck. Must see! What a perfect example of the countless times our brave police officers save lives! So many times in our modern society, thanks to the evolution of social media, we are so quick to find ways to judge others and find something to be offended by. Even though the topic of police officers is a valid topic to discuss, because there does need to be reform in that department, it is also very important not to forget that at the end of the day, they are our everyday heroes. So many times people are so quick to pull out their phones when they find something negative or violent that they can document; however, this video shows that so many of our men and women in blue are always looking for lives to save . Even sweeter, this time, it is the life of a dog. This sweet dog is the loyal companion to a truck driver . He obviously loves his dog and cares for his safety because he was letting the dog get some fresh air. The thought of how horribly wrong this series of events could have gone gives me chills down my spine. Had that driver gotten up to a speed higher than the dog could keep up with, it would have been a tragic situation. This, however, was not the case. In this situation, this police officer who can also be described as a hero, acted quickly to stop the driver before the situation turned grave. The sweet little dog was trotting along, trying to keep up with the driver who had leashed him to the back of his truck. I can imagine what that dog was thinking. I’m sure he was beyond happy to see the police officer stop the truck. I’m sure the police department in Yavapai, Arizona is very proud to have their officer recognized for such an easy, but a life-saving decision. I’m sure the driver felt so bad that this happened. We are all human. We make mistakes. I’m sure he would have never done this on purpose. I can only imagine the “What if?” thoughts that went through his mind after unleashing his dog from the truck. I bet he was even close to tears himself. Those of us who are dog owners treat our dogs like family, and I am sure truck drivers, especially, take good care of their pets. They are, at times, the only companions and company they keep. The best part of this video is that it’s not just a video about a cop saving the life of a dog. It is so much more than that. It is a reminder to us all. It is a reminder to not focus on the negative of our men in blue. Are there police officers who have acted in haste and let their narrow minds take the life of an individual due to unnecessary fear? Yes, it is a sad truth, and it is an example of the state of so many in our nation. This video, however, is a reminder that at the end of the day these men have done way more good than bad. It’s a reminder to focus on the good our men in blue do and to remember they too, just like us, are human.
