Cologne is considered the secret capital of cabaret in Germany. Supply and demand are huge and lead to a colorful mix of the arts. The term "Kleinkunst" has developed as a term for productions that are realized with little financial, human and material effort. The genre of cabaret includes above all the theater and the music. Most of the performances are solos of individual artists and come with a simple stage technique. Despite the low funds, many productions are artistically very high quality. In no other German city do the humor and creativity of the artists blossom in such a way. Cabaret can be admired in Cologne not only within buildings. Many artists take the street as a stage and show their show in well-frequented squares. These include a wide variety of creatives, such as singers, pantomime, magicians, barrel organ players and many more. These performances are particularly popular with tourists and are usually rewarded with much applause and a donation. The street artist with the significant name Schrotti is well-known in the city. He maintains the population with a self-created vehicle that consists of garbage parts. He accompanies his singing on the guitar, underlain with the most diverse background noises, which he creates with his car. Incidentally, he still plays on his harmonica and proves to be a true all-rounder. Shrotti, as hi is called, is probably the most original scrap metal worker in Germany! Schrotti makes music on collected, screwed-together, mobile scrap metal. This ranges from an ancient Kitekat food can, over old energy-saving bulbs, to a wooden spoon. On his covered vehicle he plays guitar, sings and drums well-known hits! He explains to the passers-by how the sounds come about and how he uses everything in parallel! Whether Schrotti, the street musician, actually comes from Cologne is a mystery, he keeps showing up here and there every now and then. The crowd of people around his "Klimperkasten", in any case loves him, and helps him pursue in his mission to create music out of scrap by supporting him financially.

Eight people were killed in Germany as Friederike, the strongest windstorm in 11 years, whipped through on Thursday. A trail of wind damage was left in its wake with roads and railways littered with debris. In some parts of the country, the wind reached an astonishing speed of 130 km/h, putting old trees to the ground as they were sticks. Watch this clip captured on a road in NRW, West-Germany, where the wind managed to lay down tree after tree, blocking one of the main roads in the area. Luckily, no one got hurt this time. This kind of storms are very unusual for this part of Europe, this being the second this month, that clears through the area, leaving a lot a damage and chaos behind.

When these two exit the supermarket, they each get a share of work. The dog is slowly picking up a light bag and then loyally follows throughout the supermarket’s parking lot, through the industrial area, and all the way back home. Once at home, the doggy is in for a very big surprise and a well-earned treat. The German naval fleet has a container ship called MSC BUSAN. Able to carry almost a whopping 90 metric tonnes, she is a beast and of course they are incredibly proud of her. The BUSAN is one of the largest cargo ships in the world, seen here entering into the Hamburg harbor in Germany. If that's not impressive enough though, listen to the song it plays as it rolls in. What an entrance! After having completed a long journey, the German naval fleet’s MSC BUSAN has finally returned to its home country! This ship is big and heave, as heavy as the Statue of Liberty or 8 times as heavy as the Eiffel Tower! It’s one of the largest <a href="https://rumble.com/v48dwj-spacexs-dragon-cargo-ship-returns-to-earth.html" target="_blank">cargo ships</a> in the world and has some serious presence. You don’t want to get in this ship’s way. Cheering from the sidelines is a much better idea! But wait, that’s not all. Even though it’s quite the sight to see, to watch as this mega feat of naval engineering comes in, the MSC BUSAN crewmen decided to have a little fun. If the Death Star was an elongated vessel that could float on water, then this would be it! Fully loaded to the brim, the BUSAN enters Hamburg harbor, ‘singing’ the theme song of the <a href="https://rumble.com/v353k7-cockatiel-whistles-luke-skywalker-star-wars-theme.html" target="_blank">Star Wars</a> franchise! We can almost hear the glee in every one of these folks build up, as the massive vessel tries to keep up with the tempo. Even with a tone that low, the tune is too familiar to be mistaken for anything else. The captain must be one of those die hard fans everyone is talking about. We even imagine him standing on the bridge in full Jedi gettup! Taking the “Star Wars” theme song, the crafty crewmen used the ship’s horns to fire off the familiar tune when they came in! After all, this ship looks like it could be the Death Star of seas! The low resounding honks keep up with the tempo, making it instantly recognizable amongst onlookers who are all racing to whip out their cameras at the regal arrival! This is just too cool! Too bad the crewmen didn’t dress up in their finest Star Wars attire! Despite their playful nature, the crewmen of the MSC BUSAN have quite the machine on their hands. A true marvel of naval engineering, the BUSAN is able to make compromises with the wild seas, <a href="https://rumble.com/v30g9k-ship-bending-due-to-wave-motion.html" target="_blank">bending to and fro in order to endure</a>. The crew took this footage while encountering some heavy waves out on the ocean. It requires some focus, but a few seconds into the video you can clearly see the body of the MSC BUSAN giving way to the will of nature, in order not to break! Incredible!
