There are several options to make your pizza at home. Right from using left chapatis to tortillas to making the base at home, you can make your pizza with your own twist of taste. Well, to make pizza from a scratch, just follow the below given steps.
Take a large bowl, add some yeast, baking powder, all purpose flour around 2 cups, a pinch of salt and sugar. Add in some water and knead a smooth dough. Traditionally, yeast is used to make the dough, so if you don’t have yeast, you can replace it with curd. To do so, take a small bowl, add some lukewarm water and dry yeast, stir it well and add to the pizza dough. To make your pizza more enticing you can add dried mixed herbs, while kneading the dough. Allow the dough to rise and keep it aside for sometime.
Next, extract small portions from the fluffy dough and using a rolling pin, flatten the crust, prick the crust using a fork. In the meantime, dust the crust so that it doesn't stick to the tawa or pan.
