Jake watched this video documentary about the Bryn Athyn Train wreck of 1921 and was very curious to visit these locations (Churchville Station and Penny Pack Trail) in Pennsylvania, so we traveled for a quick visit to see these historical sites - see "the gulch" and learn one of the most deadliest train wreck tragedy in history that happened here in 1921. (Video reference below) • The Bryn Athyn Train Wreck of 1921 One place we forgot to visit was the former Railroad Station - Bryn Athyn Station that is now a post office. Jake said he would want to come visit this trail again. We went to Didonato's Family fun Center last week in Hammonton, NJ for their yearly Christmas attraction. Kids had a great time looking at all the millions of Christmas lights around us. We went to Van Saun Park earlier this month in Paramus, NJ for their "Let it Glow" attraction happening throughout this month and early January. We went to Day out with Thomas Event last week Friday in Strasburg Railroad - Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The kids had so much fun with all the activities they have available. My son Jax who is not really big on trains had a great time there. My Train Expert Jake is telling me many things about trains that I'm not familiar. He is also getting a lot better filming them. Sooner or later, I think he will be in charge of recording our train adventures. We also did see #89 which is Jake's favorite train. He said its the least loudest of them all. Thanks for Watching! This is our second visit to Steamtown and first time for my youngest son Jax. Our first visit was back in 2019. Jake wanted to come back to this place to ring the bell of #790 again. We also wanted to see #26 in action but unfortunately, she was being repaired. Some of building are also closed due to Long-term repairs. Part 2 Our second day of camping, we were hit by a heavy rain in the morning. I was able to test the durability of our tent during the rain and it actually held up pretty good. Our campsite was also slightly flooded but we were pretty bone dry and comfortable inside. Not sure how it will do if the rain goes on for several hours. Other than that, we really enjoy sitting in front of the campfire. Its relaxing. We will probably come back here again before the end of the year maybe go on the trail and see other things we missed. (Part 1) This is our 2nd time camping and second time at Cheesequake park. Both Jake and Jax enjoyed the first time we camp out here, so we come back again. I'm sure we'll be back again for more. It will be yearly until they are older and don't want to go anymore. Our Ozark trail 9 person instant cabin tent was the perfect size for my family.
