The MRE, or meal ready to eat, has been the staple of the military for decades. During emergencies it’s not uncommon for FEMA, National Guard, and other entities to hand out the MRE to people in need. However the question has come up, exactly what’s in an MRE. In this video I’ll open up one of the old military spec MREs that I had in storage so we can take a look at the contents. As always practice food safety and rotate your stock, although I make jokes in the video I would not eat anything of questionable quality or that may have expired. #prepping #shtf #hurricanes
