Training Booboo (Part 3)
Recommended to watch Part 1 and 2 first
Until some recent training Booboo (the used to be feral cat) would run off if I went out or stepped off the stoop but she is learning fast how to walk with me.

Marijuana - The Terrible Truth (Re-Edit)
I decided to de-monetize all my videos because of Youtube's ridiculous method of picking out videos that they think are "offensive" and not allowing my videos to share ad revenue... even cats playing, or the most innocent things re being blocked. I don't care about revenue, but don't like being jerked around.
Re-edit of public domain "public service" video.
The original video(s) were downloaded from archive.org
I find this video offensive in it's original content and purpose of lying to the public, but at least now the edit is humorous.

Yuneec Typhoon Q500+ and Typhoon "H" 480 - (Aerial)
Short video with similar clips from both drones (Q5600+ and H-480), FYI not really a "review" just a look at both. If you need more info either research the models or look for other YT video reviews, but I will try to answer sensible questions having had both.
Best viewed on a smart TV or large computer monitor.
We like both of them but expect to use the "H" more as it has more features, is faster, goes further, has better connectivity, has a better camera, 360 degree camera, retractable landing gear, etc.

FYI: Our rules for URBEX (Abandoned building exploration)
We do not enter any buildings if we see signs posted or which do not have open doors which do not need to be forced or if there are obvious signs someone is staying there. If possible we close doors when leaving that might have been open.
We do not move or touch any personal property and never take anything (they have already lost enough).
When editing, we try to avoid any closeups of anything that could jeopardize the privacy of the owners or anyone who might have left personal items on the property.
If someone contacts us and convinces us they are the owner, we will gladly take the video offline at their request. (We have had more than one who were grateful we posted the video since it reminded them they have a situation to take care of).
We do not divulge exact addresses and such as most of these places have already been ruined by vandals and we do not want to be a tool for more vandalism, etc.

Security Guard bees - carpenter bees (see description)
Please check out our channel here with NO ads or YT BS https://odysee.com/@wideeyevideo
2020 UPDATE: Regrettably since I needed my porch rebuilt I had to take some preventative measures to try to keep them out. I'll miss them.
Every year some of these bees inhabit a hole they made in my porch post. The male flies around almost non-stop all day guarding the "nest" from anything flying. Incredible non-stop energy.
At first I was annoyed by them, even caulked the hole up after they were gone for the season but I have come to love them as the male cannot sting, is not aggressive and is almost "friendly". The male has the little yellow patch on his nose and the female does not. He also chases off wasps and other insects that do sting. It might look like I was avoiding him, but not at all (we have become comfortable with each other), just trying to keep the camera on him which sometimes is very difficult as he is very busy looking in every direction for any possible threat.
They do not really do damage to much since they don't eat the wood and these guys keep using the same hole year after year.
If I sit outside he often comes within inches of me and just hovers there for a few seconds, I'm sure by now he knows I am not a threat. If you didn't know what they were it could be quite disconcerting with them buzzing around you constantly. I've even had them bump into me as he was chasing off another one.

SOOCOO C30R 4k "Action Cam" Test 1
Short initial clips using Soocoo C30. All recorded handheld. recorded at 1080p/60 except last 2 segments recorded in 4K/24p. Rendered at 1080p/30. Will probably not record in 4k most of the time, since at 24p movement can appear choppy.
My copy looks much better than after youtube re-encoded it, almost to the point of deleting the upload but will leave it for now.
Best viewed on a large monitor or smartTV
Seems like a good upgrade to my SJCAM SJ4000 finally, after buying a couple others which did not equal the SJCAM and were returned.
This one comes with a remote, and a remote app as well as a lot of mounts, etc. You can also change the viewing angle to minimize fisheye, has slow motion, time lapse, stabilization that really works and lots of other nice features for under $100. Biggest complaint is the battery compartment and battery life but that is typical of these cameras.
I have upgraded the firmware to the latest and it appears that the stabilization now works also on 4k and perhaps a little less "digital noise" when lighting isn't great, but none of these do very well in poor lighting.
Probably more to come, just got this yesterday. Seems versatile enough and good enough might use it for more than usual "action" scenarios.

Won't replace my larger cameras but can't always carry them with me. Been a Panasonic fan for years (currently own 8 o theirs) so bought their new ZS60 and was very disappointed, like this one much better and it costs less. My first Nikon. Have seen some bad reviews of this camera but with the right settings and expectations I've got some good output. Stills on flickr. (flickr.com/wideeyevideo/)
I don't see much sense in 4K TVs since I agree with several tech articles that the human eye has it's limitations and you'd need a huge screen and have to be way too close to see any real difference, but 4K video has the advantage of allowing for more editing (cropping especially) without looking horrible. Another advantage is to save still frames at a much higher resolution than 1920X1080, which I've tried and they came out great.
Usually I will downscale any recorded 4K from 4K to 1080P for uploading. I expect my main video camera (Panasonic X920) and my main still camera (Panasonic FZ1000) to remain what I use on planned shoots.

Nikon A900 4K Test Video clips - hand held, night/macro
Unedited other than combining clips. Although I have a few cameras that can shoot 4K I will mostly be downsizing them to 1080 for many reasons not the least of which is file size, but this was uploaded to share what the "raw" video looks like from this camera in 4K.
Hope it's helpful... I usually watch a lot of video and view pics when I am considering a new camera and also read reviews but the samples mean more than anything to me. This isn't a bad little "pocket" camera.
