Most of us have been programmed to constantly look outside ourselves for someone to heal us, to take away our pain and our suffering.
I received a real-life lesson that tested every fibre of my being, when till I got hit by a truck and left with terrible injuries in 2006.
That is when I had a huge shift in consciousness.
I had to believe 100% that I could heal myself back to full health, there was no other option.
I had to connect with the real me, the Core Self, that had been hiding behind the roles that I played, like the mum, wife, daughter, friend, sister, healer, coach, blogger, herbalist, CEO, etc.
I had to find my real self, and I had to do it fast, otherwise, I would have died.
Have you ever had an experience where you felt 100 connected with the Real You?
Think about it for a minute.
When you lose an arm or a leg, you are still you, right?
And when you lose your job, your loved one, there is this part of you that remains unaffected by it all.

6 steps to clear money blocks ...
Today, I want to share 6 of my favourite steps to clear money blocks.
It works for me every time, so let’s get into it.
You will need a piece of paper and a pen and then tune into your body with my guidance.
If you are in a hurry, skip this article and watch the video above.
Now think of a money stress you have recently experienced, for instance, a large bill that’s overdue, or paying the kids school fees, or worrying about your retirement that is looming and you haven’t saved enough.
Note the feeling and the strength on a piece of paper.
For instance, is the intensity 3 out of 10 OR 10 out of 10?
Give yourself a rating and do the rating again once you finish this little exercise of clearing money blocks.
Now go to step one:
Step 1
Do your ABC, which is an acronym for Always Be Connected.
Always Be Connected to Source / Cosmos / The Universe.
Imagine light coming in your body from above and below, and simply allow it to penetrate every particle of your aura, as well as the cells and tissues of your body.
Just think of the word ‘allowing’ or ‘receiving’, if you feel any resistance in your mind.
You’re bringing in light from everywhere and then you’re expanding it out, so your energy is extending and receiving simultaneously.

Have you ever felt stuck at a certain barrier?
Have you ever felt stuck at a certain barrier as if you are in a holding pattern of love, or money, or work satisfaction and nothing seems to move, no matter how much you learn, or how hard you try?

This is how we become very disconnected from our inner Core Self, and we begin life as an adult feeling like we don’t know ourselves very well at all.
We hide behind walls or personas that we have created because we mistakenly believe that we are not lovable if people saw our true selves.
Self-love is the journey back to being the best version of ourselves, so we can have a GREAT life.
The trouble is, nobody shows you the steps, how to do ‘self-love’.

Stop asking for a Break and start seeking a Breakthrough ...
Have you ever asked for a break?
I suggest that you stop that immediately.
Let me explain why.
I used to only have one gear and that was top gear.
With 6 children, acres of gardens and a thriving natural therapy business, there wasn’t much time to stop and smell the roses.
“Give me a break!” I would sigh to myself.
On the outside, I had everything I wished for; a great soulmate, 6 wonderful children and work that I felt passionate about.
Yet, I struggled with self-worth.
I never felt good enough, I fretted about my kids, I was fearful of death, had low lying anxiety and constantly pressured myself to be superwomen.
I was always on the brink of overwhelm, paddling like crazy below the surface, keeping it all together.
Can you relate to that?
Today I can see that I wasn’t really asking for a break ….
What I needed was a BREAKTHROUGH experience.
If only somebody had shown me how to get out of overwhelm and foster inner peace, I might have saved myself enormous amounts of pain.
Because the Universe responded and gave me what I had asked for but not in the way I expected.

8 Steps Toward Self-Healing
Recently, I participated in a ten-day healing retreat (over zoom).
Two days into the retreat, I began to experience excruciating nerve pain in my lower back and inside my pelvis.
I immediately knew what it was: some of my paralyzed nerves are waking up, sixteen years after being hit by a truck.
As most of you know, in 2006, I was struck down by a passing truck, while I was getting into my parked van.
I was left with many injuries, including nerve damage to the lower part of my body.
I needed a permanent colostomy bag and a catheter.
The prognosis was not good.
The injured nerves were as good as dead, I was told, and I just had to learn to live with partial paralysis.
I never paid any attention to what I was told by the doctors.
Instead, I made the decision to trust my body, and never look back.
As you can tell from my story, the healing never stops, it is ongoing.
Scientists already know that your body is constantly changing.
Your skin is renewed every month, your stomach lining is replaced every 3 days, your eyeballs are renewed every 48 hours, your liver is new every 6 weeks and your entire skeleton is replaced constantly.
The good news is that you can participate in your own healing process and assist your body to heal faster.
The sad news is that most people don’t believe in their own bodies healing abilities.
They give up too soon.
Did you know that your body is a feedback system?
It is always sending us messages, but we are distracted or tuned out, so we miss the message, often till it is too late.
Something happens that forces us to stop, sit up and listen.

Increase your free will so you can have a great life!
How much free will do we really have?
If we had free will, you could simply decide that you were going to lose those 20 kilos and they begin to melt off,
or you would get that promotion you have been aiming at.
The truth is, that nothing will shift in our favour, until we get our 2 minds talking the same language!
Yes, we actually have 2 minds.
1. Your conscious mind is the goal setter. It might say: I have had enough! I am going to quit smoking or drinking alcohol.
If you measured the conscious mind it is 7%
2. Your subconscious mind, is the goal-getter, and it is 93%.
Most good intentions fizzle out after a few hours or days because your subconscious mind is not on board.
So unless you get this powerhouse on your side, you are like the ant on the elephant's back.
You think you running North, but the elephant is heading South.
This is where I come in, as a ‘Self-sabotage coach’.
I know all the tricks of the trade when it comes to the subconscious.

Do you have a bully in your head?
Earlier today I listened to a mindset coach who talked about evicting the bully in your head.
Let me tell you today how harmful it is to take the approach of beating your bully, shutting it down, or ignoring it.
Even naming this voice a bully isn’t helpful.
That voice in your head belonging to your inner bully is…..YOU.
This voice is coming from a memory.
It may not be telling you the literal truth, but it is telling you something worth listening to.
The meaner the voice, the bigger the need to be heard.
Remember this voice belongs to one of your inner children.
Shutting it down means you are betraying yourself and setting yourself up for a lifetime of struggle.
When we tell the bully in our head to get the hell out of here, we are training our brain, emotional and immune response to dissociate.
By doing this we are reinforcing the message that you are not worth listening to.
It’s why you feel exhausted all the time, have pain in your body, or your love life sucks, or your money doesn’t flow.
So what can you do?
Do we just let that voice beat us up?

You are a powerful healing machine!
It only takes 2 days to have a completely renewed inner eye….
I know, crazy isn’t it.
Touch your eyeball, it feels so solid, and yet, every 48 hours your inner eye is new.
The lining of your stomach is new every 5 days.
You have a new outer skin every 3 weeks or so.
You can tell that yourself because your tan wears after 3 weeks.
Your liver is renewed every 6 weeks.
These are all tangible signs that your body never stops healing.
Plus your hair keeps growing, and so do your nails.
All this new growth happens under the all-seeing eye of your immune system.
Your immune system has its own mind, which is different from your ego-mind.
For instance, you could say to your body: I want a new knee!
And you wake up with the same old stiff knee the next morning.
We believe that our immune system doesn’t hear us.
The truth is, our incredibly smart immune system does listen to us.
It eavesdrops all day long, it hears the words we speak, the thoughts we think, the feelings we have.
All of this has a positive or negative effect on our immune system.
After a while, our immune system becomes so clogged down with conflicting and confusing information, it becomes like my phone and refuses to take another photo because the storage is full.
You have to delete some information.
Or close down some apps, and empty the recycle bin, before the camera can take a new video.

This makes it really hare to not get hooked into other people’s dramas.
You may not see yourself as an empath, but believe me, most of us are to a degree!
It boils down to our neurology.
We have countless ‘mirror’ neurons in our body, and they act like a photocopy machine.
They copy what’s going on for the other person/s in your surroundings, and then you start to notice or feel it in your own body.
If you are an empath, it is hard for you to hang onto your own truth and feelings.
Sometimes you don’t know where the other persons pain or stress ends and yours begins.
It all gets quashed together inside your nervous system.
You might walk past a person in the street and pick up on his/her mood.
He/she might be feeling anxious and suddenly you feel as if the sun has disappeared behind a dark cloud.
You look around and there is nothing to see.
Then you begin to internalize it or beat yourself up for feeling gloomy for no reason.
Have you ever experienced something like this?

What is NOT self-compassion ?
Self-compassion is NOT self-pity.
It is also NOT self-care.
Or self-esteem.
It is NOT making yourself better or worse than others.
So what is it then?
Self-compassion is love in the midst of our own suffering.
This suffering could be around emotional anguish, physical pain, stress, depression, anxiety, cravings, self-sabotaging, trauma, grief, loss or fear.
So, there is some level of internal suffering going on and we show ourselves love, kindness or compassion.

Today I want to help you by bringing more awareness to the energy of guilt.
Guilt has been a constant companion in my life, like music in the background.
For many years, I didn’t know how to release it.
If I worked really hard and kept busy I would feel a reprieve, I would feel better, but if I stopped, it would punch me in the stomach again.
Thankfully I have since mastered the skill of not being sucked into the emotional spiral of guilt.

Don't let your childhood trauma hold you back any longer ...
Childhood trauma doesn’t just fade away — it unfolds over a life span.
Childhood trauma and suppressed negative emotions affect your brain development, your immune and hormonal system and even the way your DNA is expressed, for the rest of your life, unless you get help from an expert.
I specialize in freeing my clients from abuse and sabotage patterns from their past and I take my work very serious.
Why is it important that you receive help?
If you have been exposed to childhood trauma in high doses, you have triple the lifetime risk of heart disease, lung cancer, and auto immune diseases and you can expect a shortened lifespan by 20 years.
I am not talking about trauma like failing a test once or being sent to your bedroom without dinner.
By childhood adversity I mean threats to the nervous system that are so pervasive or insidious, they get under the skin and change your physiology.
Things like neglect, abandonment, sexual, physical, or mental abuse, growing up with parents or caregivers who had substance dependence or mental illness, separation, or domestic violence or even been left alone as a baby ‘to cry it out’.
The Adverse Childhood Experiences Study done by Dr Vince Felitti asked 17500 adults about their history as a child and sheds light on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE)The ACE Study reveals a powerful relation between our emotional experiences as children and our adult emotional and physical health, and major causes of mortality in the United States.
Moreover, the time factors in the study make it clear that time does not heal some of the adverse experiences so commonly found in the childhoods of middle-aged, middle-class Americans.
You don’t “just get over” things.
And on MRI scans, there are measurable differences in the amygdala, the brain’s fear response center.
So there are real neurologic reasons why people posed to high doses of adversity are more likely to develop heart disease or cancer.

How do you stay safe and sane during this time of change and uncertainty?
Many clients have asked me to help them overcome unwanted thoughts to get out of cycles of fear and worry.
If you relate to that, watch this video.
I'm going to show you that you actually have 2 minds and each one needs to be addressed differently for you to thrive.
Right now, collectively we are going through a portal of spiritual awakening.
Once we step through we can start to enjoy a consistent state of inner peace but we're not there yet.
Most of us experience worry and fear because theres a disconnect between our Conscious and Subconscious minds.
Our conscious mind is the realm of thoughts and makes up about 5% of us.
It’s behind the steering wheel of the car.
The subconscious mind represents the vehicle. It mostly obeys the conscious mind and is the realm of feelings, our 5 senses, memories and runs our body.
It makes up around 95% of our being.
The problem is we've learned all about our conscious mind, to follow science and to be rational.
We are completely left in the cold when it comes to relating to the other 95% of us.
Let’s address the thinking mind first.
Our thinking mind mostly lies to us! Yes this might come as a shock, but it really doesn’t care much about truth.
This mind, also called our separate mind, is addicted to never feeling good enough and loves to feed us negative fearful thoughts.
This mind tends to rob you of your joy, confidence and life force.
Here's how you can stop it and breakthrough this pattern:
1) Think of a negative thought. "I will run out of money soon and I won’t be able to pay my bills." "I will catch the virus, infect my elderly parents and then they might die."
You'll notice your energy drop as soon as you think like that.
Thankfully we can only think one thought at the time, so here comes step two:
2) Ask yourself: "What if this isn’t true” or "How do I know this is intrinsically true?”
You can use this question to counteract any negative thought. You'll notice a calmness in your body when you do this repeatedly.
The truth is your mind is playing cat and mouse with you!
Stop buying your own lies and give your mind something else to occupy itself with.
Another important thing to remember is that your thoughts are not created by you.
They are simply picked up by your satellite dish, your brain.
Your brain tunes into all sorts of thought streams and influences.
Its up to you which thoughts to tune into or tune out to.
You're in charge of your thoughts. You are not a victim of your thoughts, but it might feel like that sometimes.
You have the power to take control of your thinking by dialling into a frequency of uplifting thoughts.
3) Don’t listen to mainstream news. It’s mostly misinformation and it will contaminate your thinking. Listen to a podcast or music instead.
4) Say out loud: Not that thought! and wipe the screen of your mind clean with a mental windscreen wiper.
All these practices are simple to do and also simple to ignore.
However, just like you wash your clothes and shower every day its even more important to put your thinking brain through the laundry.
When it comes to your subconscious mind, the other 95% of you, it gets tricky.
All our traumatic experiences and emotional suppression are stored here.
Our subconscious mind, which is really the driving force behind the scenes, is also the same as our immune system.
We all want a strong immune system yet we don’t receive any education about how to keep it strong.
Our subconscious mind has the mindset of a 7-year-old child.
If your inner child feels ignored, neglected, forgotten or unsafe, chances are that your health starts to break down, you have frequent accidents, mysterious aches and pains or chronic high-stress levels.
To boost your immune system start paying attention to what you feel and take notice of how you talk to yourself all day long.
What feelings, images, or body sensations are coming up for you?
When it comes to your feelings: what you resist persists.
If you have sadness and you're in denial of the hurt/sadness, its going to come back and bite you.
You won’t be able to get out of bed, you might get hay fever, you feel flat and dull or lack motivation. You might even get pneumonia because sadness is expressed through the lungs.
To release sadness try watching a tear-jerker. Write in a journal and let the tears flow, or sing or dance. Move it through your body so it can be released.
Blame/shame is another big one. These emotions have a vibrational energy that are close to the frequency of dying.
They really lower our energy.
That’s why blaming and shaming are so hurtful.
If you have a constant heavy feeling in your body its most likely shame.
Watch this video to release those emotions from your body so you become calm, centred and strong.

Mastering your Core Fears
2 steps to master your core fears.
Virtually every issue of scarcity comes from an internal state of fear.
Fear also creates an abundance limit, because fear’s job is to keep us ‘safe and secure’.
Staying small is often safer than being seen, heard, and noticed.
If we want to be truly wealthy in all aspects of our lives, we have to make friends with fear because fear is here to stay.
Fear is actually the very first reflex or emotion that we are capable of feeling.
It kicks in as early as 9 weeks of gestation when you are only the size of a jellybean.
Yes, as early as that!
Imagine floating around peacefully inside your mum’s safe womb space when you get jolted by a surge of fear for the first time.
Our entire nervous system is constructed on and around this fear reflex.
Fear is our guidance system.
On a physical level, fear warns us about danger.
On a spiritual/mental level, fear is often the first indication that we are not connected to our higher selves and that we need to do something about that.
The negative thing about fear is that it can hijack our lives.
Fear is a constricting energy, which means that it blocks the flow of energy.
I am talking about the flow of money, the flow of love, the natural flow of your immune system, your happy hormones etc.
During my teaching programs, I show my students how to master their core fears and how to free themselves from the cycle of fear, worry, and stress.

Decoding your unconscious mind ...
“Are you a shaker or a pusher?” Peter asks.
“Huh? What do you mean?” I look up to see what’s going through Pete’s head.
Then I notice that he is shaking a pillow down into a clean pillowcase.
“I think you are a pusher!” Pete continues with a grin on his face.
“How do you know?”
“I watched you push the pillow into the pillowcase, while I was shaking mine”.
“OK, let's give it a go”. I say to Pete.
I am curious now too; I want to know how my body puts pillows in a pillowcase.
Lo and behold, Pete is right, of course.
I push the pillow all the way down into its case, and I never realized that this is how I do it on autopilot.
Pete and I have two Airbnbs, so there are lots of sheets and pillowcases to change every week.
Yet here I am, not knowing whether I am a shaker or a pusher!
This isn’t so strange when you realize that your whole life is run on unconscious programs.
Yes, even the smartest people who believe they are in full control of their lives are run on unconscious programs.
Thinking that they are in control is a lie their conscious mind has made up.
There is a classic saying that “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” Carl Jung
The choices you make, and the way you think, talk, and behave
have nothing to do with intelligence and everything to do with the memories stored in your unconscious mind.
I am talking about your earliest memories, from your conception till age 8.
These memories have shaped our minds and dictate how we interact with reality.
Until you learn how to operate your brain, you will continue to have thoughts, memories, behaviours and ideas that were put into your computer without your consent, and they will continue to run your life, and you will call this FATE.
FATE keeps happening till you change the unconscious signal you send out to the Universe, and this is where I help my clients, to bring up negative and limiting programming from the depths of their unconscious and help them turn it around so their FATE changes, so they can experience joy, security, abundance, and true love for instance.
To be clear, it is not the past trauma you have experienced that is the problem.
It is how the unconscious mind and body stores the past, how it is engraved in our nervous system, and how the distressed energy is contained in the memories which creates the signal that attracts people and events into your life, for better or for worse.
The good news is that this can be changed very quickly when we work with you.
